Needless to say that was the deal breaker right there. I walked out after telling her she was F-ing rude. They lost a $4000 job that day. But our car looks great after we went elsewhere! I'll NEVER go there or refer anyone there as long as she works there.

First I researched it and found that ceramic coating would lower the cabin temperature by 30%. Then I looked around for the best place to get the work done and found Greg and Kay at Autoskinz. I made an appointment and went to talk to them. Greg was very informative. He knew all about Teslas, tinting, ceramic and the best shades to use. I've been going to Fresh Tint for over 10 years and have trusted them with every car I've owned…read more Most recently, they tinted my daughter's car which honestly feels surreal. The first time I brought a car here, she was 4 years old, playing in the waiting room at their old location. Now she's turning 18 this year. In 2025, Fresh Tint tinted her Audi A3, and they also did my Ineos Grenadier full tint all around, including the safari windows, plus ceramic coating. The work is always flawless. Jr. is a solid, trustworthy guy, and I only trust him with my cars. There was one car I didn't take to him, and I regretted it. Lesson learned. If you want quality work done right by people who genuinely care, this is the place.

The service was professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. Josh is a perfectionist in the best way, and it really shows in the final result. The lobby/waiting area was also thoughtfully designed, with unique vintage pieces that made the space feel welcoming. Based on the mostly positive reviews here, and a phone call with Mike, I decided to take my car in…read moreto have him install F/R dashcams. He assured me that he had the "experience" to do this job and gave the impression he was confident in his work. After some discussion over pricing, we settled on a price. I stayed there waiting for the car. He was pleasant to talk to. Things seemed to go pretty smoothly, as far as I could tell. He didn't ask me where I wanted the cameras mounted however. He was more interested in having the camera centered on the back window than trying to avoid having the defroster lines in view. Even when provided with the "static cling" mounting material to use on the rear tinted window film, he used the included 3M HD adhesive pad directly on the film. If the camera gets bumped or needs to be replaced for some reason, it will pull the film off and likely damage the defroster. I would have preferred the front camera to be off to the right a little bit to be out of my line of sight. My bad. I didn't say. He didn't ask. When completed, I took out by credit card. Nope. He had NO way to run it! Cash only!* Not discussed prior to starting the work. I had to go home to get cash. A few months have passed since this installation. I have not ever been able to get "Parking Mode" to work. I assumed it was a "settings" issue. I spent quite a bit of time going over all the settings, but it still would not work. I decided to retrace all the wiring (only 3 wires!) that powers the dashcams. I discovered several things. First, he apparently damaged my rear seat! He apparently bent the seat frame! The photo shows the corner of the seat bent UP that he ran the wires under! I paid for "experience", not a HACK. I've taken the seat out before to install seat covers. It's not easy, but CAN be done with damaging it! Second, he had to make splices in two locations to extend the wiring to reach the power source in the trunk. The splices (crimp connectors) appeared to be OK. But he did change the color of the wire after the first splice. Color of the wire doesn't really matter as long as you keep track of which wire is which at the end! With this knowledge, I could verify if the wires were attached to the proper power sources at the fuse box. THEY WERE NOT!! He got the ground correct though. So much for paying for his "experience." Also, the fuse taps were not installed correctly, with power going to the wrong blade. After I corrected those wiring errors, the "Parking Mode" now works as it should! *A quick search online did not provide a California Business License for this company. I too learned from this "experience." However, I'm glad most of you have had a much better experience than I had.
