Highly recommend VIP Recon Tint. I brought my Tesla in for window tint and PPF, and also had them tint the windshield on my Silverado. Everything came out great. I did notice some dust under the tint on the front driver-side window of my Tesla, and when I brought it to their attention, they took care of it and redid the window with absolutely no issue. I really appreciated how easy they made the process and how much they stand behind their work. The quality of their work is excellent, and the customer service is just as good. They were professional, easy to work with, and made sure I was happy with everything. If you're looking for tint or PPF in the Santa Clarita area, I definitely recommend VIP Recon Tint. Great work, great customer service, and a shop that stands behind what they do. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I've taken all four of my last leases to VIP Recon for ceramic coating and window tinting, and they've never let me down. This week I had an urgent, last-minute tinting need while I'm scrambling to get ready to leave town for a funeral -- zero time to spare. I called and they got me scheduled right in, dropped me off at work, and picked me back up once the job was done. They even threw in a free car wash, which was such a nice touch on an already stressful week. I make it a point to support family-owned businesses in the Santa Clarita Valley whenever I can. If you need ceramic coating, window tinting, or anything else, I highly recommend VIP Recon. read more

This was my third time at VIP Recon. They have always done a good job with tint and are always friendly. I struggled with this visit however. I had an afternoon appointment and when I showed up no other customers were there, and no one else came after I was there. I always ask for them to do some kind of detail work with the tint appointment. This time however they refused to accept any detailing work and flat out told me they didn't provide those services, despite it being on the wall behind them and on the website. They did a great job with the tint as always, but it was apparent they were closing early and the employees locked up the store and were all back to their cars before I could even get to mine. read more

VIP Recon never disappoints. Asked them to tint the windows on my Airstream trailer and they were up to the challenge. I was worried that the tint wouldn't look right, but they knew the perfect tint to use. The windows look amazing now and (from the outside) they perfectly blend in with the shell. It all shines and looks incredible now. read more

If you are interested in working with a company that won't stand behind their poor quality work, this is the company for you! The front bumper obviously has poor installation issues. The inside edge of the door where it meets the fender wasn't installed well either. Take a look at their tint job, some of it is peeling and some aren't even tinted to the edge of the window. Makes sense why they undercut their competitors pricing. I contacted them to get these issues resolved, Moises said he would cover these issues but the manager Angela told me they can trim their errors as a fix. The car is only 3 years old and there's a 10 year warranty on the clear PPF and lifetime warranty on the tint. UPDATE 4/13/25 - Tristan, i am surprised of the company's response. Based on what was told to my husband, VIP Recon was just going to call Yelp and have this review removed. Had someone actually said to us what you offered here, maybe we could have worked something out. However, based on the tone over the phone, businesses are always right and customers are always wrong...so good luck with the future growth. We are working with Expel directly now on compensations for the poor workmanship, so no point to hash out the details here anymore. UPDATE 4/15/25- Thanks Tristan for having to stress your standpoint that the customer is wrong. This really speaks to the professionalism and level of customer service VIP Recon upholds. read more
