The contractor that does work at Randy's left glue all over our floor and claims after 3 visits to re check it that it's not his fault. The one thing he could have done was to come and professionally clean it for us. So our flooring has never looked new because dirt clung on the glue. Word to the wise use pay extra and have Randy's lay it not their contractors.

After my carpenter pulled my old French door/window combination out of the wall to make way for my…read morenew door, we noticed the sub-floor had been damaged by water. A mutual acquaintance referred us to Hayden Construction. Ben Jordan, the owner of Hayden Construction, came right over and assessed the damage. A day later he and a crew fixed the damage, which required sub-flooring, and replacement of part of the finished ceiling and wall below the window in the basement. He also had to support the deck during the construction. The work was high quality and Ben's team took steps to prevent any future water damage. Ben could have taken advantage of my dire situation, but he charged me a very reasonable rate, cleaned up all of the debris and was a delight to work with. I highly recommend this company.

I ask about pricing and he said all of them would be the same from $700 to $1,000. He came & measured but didn't call back. So, I called him. He said our information had been stapled to someone else's file so he'd "lost" it. He said he'd call back with an estimate right away. He did call back but gave us an estimate of over $2,000. That was totally overpriced since our floor is very small. We will not be doing business there! Buyer beware

First off, almost all of the flooring was installed askew. We asked to not have nail hole mudding or calk, they did both, poorly. The owner was very pleasant and immediately sent his crew back out and fixed the flooring. The trim is another story. The edges are raw and ill fitting. They did a "reveal" on some doors and on others chose to cut around the hinge instead. All in all, after asking the owner to come inspect it himself twice, sent the same crew out, not to mention the mess they left after. The owner offered to send them out a 4th time, but it seemed that each time it was worse (dirtier, soiled carpet) when they left so we declined. Also, if you have your air conditioning on, all doors and windows hang WIDE OPEN the whole time. We did pay them and we did get a discount but it was by no means a cheap job. If you don't care about the details, give them a call. It will be done-ish.

Less than 1 yr later, after extremely light and seldom use it looks hideous, and is now unusable, without the repeated expense of reupholstering it again. I travel the majority of the time and am rarely home. On top of that, it is myself alone, and I barely weigh 100 lbs, so use would be considered by anyone to be about as minimal as you can get. ... Kamal and son not only refused to stand by their own defective fabric, but were needlessly rude and condescending about it. I would go out of my way to deter anyone from doing business with them. ... Be advised that they are overly friendly and personable to obtain your business, but just the opposite when it comes time to standing by what they sell. I regret the unfortunate experience of walking thru Kamal's door.
