Wife and I have eaten all over the US and live in San Francisco Bay Area, so I'd like to think myself a good judge of restaurants. We happened by on way home from a week in Finger Lakes and stopped for a bite midweek. Place was crowded. We sat at bar. My ribs were awesome mouthwatering moist tender juicy most excellent. Wife loved her stuffed potato. Great local Northern Tier beer. The bill gave us sticker shock. So reasonable and inexpensive. Food was so so, nothing special. The waitress was nice but not attentive at all. I requested water when we ordered our cocktails and finally got it when I asked again at the end of our meal. I had the shrimp with their special panko batter.... It was not special at all... No flavor. The shrimp didn't even have any flavor. The bread that the waitress said she was bringing us once it was out of the oven finally came out, but it clearly had not been in an oven in quite some time... The Sister Shubert's rolls were cold, like out of the refrigerator cold. The only positive of my meal was the loaded baked potato. We sat at the bar until the rest of at group arrived. Bartender was very personable. We ate in the dining area and our server was very prompt and attentive. I had grilled Salmon and it was wonderful. The fries could of been cooked a bit longer, they were kinda limp,I prefer a crisper fry. Hubby had Salmon cakes whuch were very good also. Others had the Crab cakes which they thought they weren't anything to write home about. Another had a burger which they were pleased with but had the same complaint about the fries,not quite done enough. Salads were generous and fresh. We appreciate the fact that the owner was around quite a bit and she helped clear the table and even bixed up the leftovers. We definitely would eat tgere again. read more

I wanted to love this place. The decor is beautiful, the ambience is great. However, the dining area is very loud. Even as a table of two it was very difficult to have a conversation. I ordered a sirloin and it was dry and hard as a rock. Very disappointing. read more

Ribs N' Bones is one of my favorite spots in Warren County. Always has a few good craft beers on tap, and the cocktails are great. I love how they support local businesses, whether it's offering CJ Spirits liquor, stuffed banana peppers sourced from the Hatch Patch, or local desserts. The specials are always amazing, with huge portions (the fish fry, pulled pork, and prime rib specials are always a good choice). Ribs & Bones is a great place to eat. The food is always amazing as well as the staff. Those folks are right on top of it! The setting is beautifully done with lots of wood carvings made into the bar and they have a very nice and larger but separated dining area. They carry a great supply of beers & wine but do have mixed drinks as well. The menu is always interesting and the prices are fair. Always a good go to place for an above average meal. Insanely good and the bar atmosphere was great, lots of mounted deer and elk, bass and walleye. And the ribs were insanely good!

I have eat at restaurants all over the world, this place ranks with the best of them for price & valve. The ribs were very good. The service was really good, my glass was alway full. No waiting for food. We will be back for sure. read more

We arrived with a party of seven and no reservations. We decided to dine at the bar. Their were only 5 seats available. The went into the basement and found us 2 more. We couldn't have asked for better treatment. Food was exceptional and so was the staff. Will definitely be back. read more

I only get to Ribs and Bones maybe once a year, but it's always a treat. I have no clue what some others are saying about service as they are fantastic with this - they don't pester you but they are very good about checking up. Food is always fantastic, and it is one of the only places in the area that has never let me down at all - I have maybe 10 trips spread out over the past decade or so. read more
