Soooo I'm trying to get some minor home projects done. But my 6 day a week 60 hr schedule makes it almost impossible to get any errands or appointments done. But here's where Dom the owner of Hope Custom Builders comes in. I have a quirky basement door which is between my kitchen and back room right at the transition. I think it was an outside door at one time & the previous owners added the back room on & just made it work. But the back room floor is in desperate need of replacing. Then I realized oh crap! I need to get that door fixed before I can put the new floor down. I didn't even know what was wrong with it exactly except that I could only use a baby gate to hold it up & it's super heavy. I was constantly afraid it might snap the gate & hit me in the head while going down there. Now this is the perfect example of what seems like a simple job turns out not to be so simple. I had that problem fixed by another contractor. Now, there's more leaks again. It destroyed my kitchen ceiling in another spot. I had a plumber look at it and they said it has to do with the shower tiling. Now I have to find another contractor to fix the shower floor and wall tiling. Find another contractor unless you want to waste your money and your time. If I could give zero stars, I would.

When we added things on at the end, and asked for an expanded patio, they took it in stride and adjusted to fit our needs. The patio is beautiful and they aren't even done with the full project. We had approx 380 sqft patio put in, with 2 sections to separate sitting and eating areas, with a walkway. The patio included curves, rounded exterior edges, and a double border. Specifically, 2 paver patios, a paver drive ways, an asphalt driveway, 2 masonry stoops and as recently as today a new sidewalk. Their work never changes... whatever they do looks great. The whole team is polite, respectful and the job site is always clean when they are done. I have recommended them and they have worked in family members homes with the same result.
