After waiting over an hour for our food, we had to go find someone ourselves to ask about it because no staff members were walking around checking on tables or updating guests. It turned out our order seemed to have been missed entirely, and we were then told it would take another 15 minutes. We also noticed multiple groups around us waiting around the same amount of time for food, so this clearly was not an isolated issue. While we understand it was Memorial Day weekend and likely busy, we would hope the winery would anticipate and staff appropriately for holiday traffic. When the food finally arrived, the pizza was undercooked and lacked flavor, and the chicken Caesar salad tasted very basic and prepackaged. For the prices, the food quality and service fell well below expectations. The setting and atmosphere itself are beautiful, but the service and food quality need significant improvement before we would consider returning or recommending this winery to others. We felt it was important to share our experience in hopes that this feedback leads to meaningful improvements for future guests.

They had a couple of cute, tiny, winery kittens that they had just gotten. They were adorable to watch roaming around the premises. Their wines are good, so again, worth driving the distance and we will drive the distance again. They offer food as well. We ordered pizza and a charcuterie board with chocolates and cheeses. The service was very good. The ladies were very nice and helpful. If you are in Oregon and would like to go wine tasting, this is definitely a winery to check out.

Such a lovely home away from home! I stayed in the Grand's Suite for several nights in July. The…read moresuite was just right for me and had all that I needed, including a tiny drink refrigerator and coffee maker. The kitchen was available for my use, including my own shelf/drawer. I spent evenings outside eating my dinner on the cool wrap around porch. I was able to walk everywhere in town, and used the Ochoco trail for longer walks. Out of 3 shoots we ended up doing for Xmas card photos, and the worst circumstances, we got the BEST photos! Jerrilynn was so patient and professional, completely unphased by our circus and actually got usable moments in the chaos. We have a family photographer for life lol and will recommend her to anyone looking for wedding, special event or family photography. She was also so kind and disarming. The majority of their business is focused on guests who are staying at the ranch (many from overseas) who want to go on longer trail rides or an old fashioned cattle drive a la City Slickers. Since we already have a home in the area, we didn't get to take advantage of their hospitality as guests. However, we did visit to enjoy a trail ride. My boys love to ride, but it has been quite difficult finding a trail ride that satisfies all of our needs. We've tried Diane's Riding Place, but they tend to be more instructional. The stables at the Seventh Mountain Resort were only OK. My goal was to get more of an 'authentic' trail ride with a little bit of fun. We were only partially successful. First off, making reservations wasn't terribly easy. After calling the main business line, I was given a second number to dial for the stables. Since the focus is on their ranch guests, they don't seem to be overly eager to take outside riders. Fortunately, some of those guests had another activity planned, so we were able to arrange a ride. It turned out to be semi-private and Katie was a wonderful guide. You will sign a brief liability waiver, and riders must wear jeans and boots. The boots requirement was a first, but fortunately they have plenty to borrow at no charge. Children are also required to wear helmets. The ranch covers 600 acres, so they took a gentle ride up through the hills to enjoy the view of the Three Sisters. It was a good ride, but low on the excitement factor. No cantering or galloping, just an easy mosey up and back. Unlike the prior reviewer, the ride lasted exactly 60 minutes, so no complaints there. It is really disappointing that there aren't more horseback riding options in the area. These hills are filled with ranches, but due to liability concerns, very few open their doors to the public. The Long Hollow Ranch checked every one of those boxes. We stayed in the Homestead cabin, which had three beds upstairs, and one downstairs. The cabin had two strong window AC units, which were wonderful. The cabin had no TV, which was great, but did have a vintage stove that served as a table top for the in-room microwave. There's also a mini-fridge and a Keurig Coffee Maker. Beds were comfy, bathroom has hot water in the shower, and the decor was fantastic. The morning breakfast was signaled by a good old-fashioned dinner bell at the main house, which is beautiful. There were lots of hash browns, fruit, juice and more. They even offered to cook each of us an egg to order, which our son took advantage of. The breakfast was absolutely great. All in all, this place was well worth the price, which was already much lower than other places on our trip. They even let us dabble with our fly pole in their bass pond free of charge. They accommodated our late check in (10 PM) and even had the AC going when we arrived. Customer service was top notch. This is the definition of a 5 STAR property.

I stay at hotels mainly for work so I typically just keep with the big names so I can keep a MVP status for perks like early or late check-in / out. I'm closing in on one of the lifetime MVP statuses and hotels were sold out in Redmond, so I booked a room here as BH was almost $100 more. This is a very basic hotel. I will say service is very friendly here and the breakfast is above average. The only morning I was here, they served pork sausage links, house potatoes, tortillas, salsa, cheese and scrambled eggs. The difference is that the eggs here are real vs the weirdly wet and tasteless reconstituted stuff they serve at the big chains. A couple made 2 extra pancakes and didn't want to waste them, so I took them. Kind of tough but good flavor. They also have cereal + milk, yogurt, toast, bagels, Otis Spunkmeyer wrapped muffins and hard-boiled eggs if you're on the run. The rooms are solid but basic. I got a good night's sleep on the king bed. I made use of the microwave for some pasta and kept my chicken from Oliver Lemon in the mini fridge for road snacks. However, if you have a lot of technology, the work desk has no power other than the wall outlet and neither the bed nor the work desk has any USB for your devices. Bring adapters! The other factor that kept my review modest was the big one. The wifi was free but very weak. My devices kept disconnecting and doing anything including just updating my browser required patience. If this place makes sense for my budget I'd stay here again, but I think I'll just keep trying different hotels in the area just to see what's there outside the world of Hilton and Marriott.

It definitely knocked a meal out during our trip to the Bend area and that was nice. There is also a pool and a jacuzzi here. We thought the pool water was too cold so we didn't pursue swimming in it much. The jacuzzi however was nice and relaxing and helped us unwind after being on the road. Probably the best thing here is we didn't hear a peep from any of the other guests. No screaming kids, people crying, furniture being moved in the middle of the night or tarot readings... all experiences we have had to endure while staying in hotels in the past and therefore keeping us awake. That was not the case at all here with any of that. We slept very soundly and solidly which was a wonderful thing as in addition to people being too noisy we sometimes simply can't sleep because it's involving a strange bed. But not the night we stayed here. The unfamiliar bed issue wasn't a problem at all.
