Apart from feeling a bit iffy about a guided tour (not my kind if thing) - free beers were on offer so how could I refuse !! Fullers are one of the most successful breweries in London and offer guided tours around their brewery to show you how they produce there beers and offers an insight into the history of this old site and brew house. Obviously the climax of the tour is visiting the bar in the cellar and getting stuck into the IPA and other Fullers favourites. Tours are Monday to Friday throughout the day and are in groups of at least four but up to 15. An interesting and educational visit that was very informative and I enjoyed it very much. The tasting was obviously the icing on the cake and you can also get a lunch in the Fullers pub next door.

The tour was a standard soup to nuts of the brewing process but it was throughout an old brewery with many of the "old" brewing containers on display. There's little in the way of amenities, but plenty of beer on tap and in bottles. Great range, as you would hope to see at a brewery. A few food options for nibbling. Not a lot of space to sit on chairs/benches (read: stacked pallets) but on my visit lots of people were content to sit on a curb outside. The prices are fair, the staff friendly. Probably a fun option if you are a local, but for anyone coming from Central London a visit here is a real journey. Still, worth popping by sometime. Now the space has been turned into a event center and part-time Market stall and that really works as well. There's also a small warehouse of Fullers beer along with a very large selection of wines to choose from. If you can't find what you're looking for here, you probably just don't drink the right kind of alcohol. :-) And since it's at Fullers Brewery, why not go on a tour while you're there (I didn't, but I'd like to sometime!).

Located down a cool alleyway near the Thames, it has indoor and outdoor seating and the best beer selection I have had since arriving in London! Tried a couple of their IPAs which were wonderful and enjoyed watching Wimbledon on their TV amongst a cool and eclectic crowd! Definitely recommend this place!
