The space is bright and open, noticably less cluttered than it's neighbors (the guys next door have a camper food truck wedged in). The beer was spot on, and in particular the saison-esque beer I finished with was perfect. The only real drawback of this place is the one tiny bathroom...they are quite a popular bar, so the line gets a bit long (pop into the bar next door, they don't seem to mind). Great beer in a super fun part of town, you should make your way over here

The space is huge compared to the various taprooms along Bermondsey which are huddled under train tracks in much smaller spaces. If you're looking for hazy IPAs and mixed fermentation beers then Pressure Drop and Verdant and both representing England well. Found a few beers right on par with personal favorites from US brewers like NYC's Other Half or Chicago's Mikerphone. However when it gets busier, the noise level makes it hard to hear and be heard, which is a serious drawback for easily overwhelmed folks or for anyone who just doesn't feel like shouting. A small qualm: the hipster menu descriptions are so cryptic it's hard to know what you're ordering.

The…read moreinterior is just a happy place - light blue, light pink, clouds, etc. The music selection was spot on. With the door open they got surprisingly good airflow and kept the place cool. It was busy but not slammed - could still walk up to the bar and get a drink quickly. And that's what matters - the drinks. Their beer selection was superb. Of all the places on my most recent Beer Mile trek, I think this was one of only two spots that resulted in me getting multiple rounds of drinks. They have a bunch of their own beers (I think they brew at their other location and then pour here) as well as a couple guest beers. The taps change all the time but there is such a wide variety of beer you'll definitely find something. Even though it was summer, I most recently opted for a stout that was over 10%. It was delicious, boozy and intricate flavours with just a hint of sweetness. But they've got something for everyone, pale ales, belgians, saisons, stouts, etc. and they're not afraid to brew some strong drinks!

They also have some games and we played several rounds of Shuffleboard which is a nice break from just sitting at a table.
