But that is one of the best things about Brewdog - they have higher ABV beers (and not) that ar more like what we have in the US. You idon'thave to, but if you want to have higher ABV you can. The service is amazing and they are super knowledgable and helpful. The bar itself is quite a lot like a typical American brewery. So you'll feel right at home. Brewdog is great spot for beers, really pretty descent food, and a seriously awesome staff. I will be back, both in the UK and US.

Their beers were fantastic, and the bar service was so friendly and warm. What really was fantastic though were the built in phone chargers in the tables. It's a perfect stop for travelers, and while waiting for a good charge we got to sip on some well crafted beers. I particularity enjoyed the atmosphere, especially their mural of the brewing process. I loved that they use by-products of their brewing to feed their fish! Definitely a unique place. Whenever I get an email from them with updates it makes me long to catch a cross-continental flight and pop back in to enjoy their beers!

The space is bright and open, noticably less cluttered than it's neighbors (the guys next door have a camper food truck wedged in). The beer was spot on, and in particular the saison-esque beer I finished with was perfect. The only real drawback of this place is the one tiny bathroom...they are quite a popular bar, so the line gets a bit long (pop into the bar next door, they don't seem to mind). If you're looking for hazy IPAs and mixed fermentation beers then Pressure Drop and Verdant and both representing England well. Getting there was an easy train ride out of Liverpool St. station and was well worth the trip. Make sure to leave room for a stout or two from St. John at Hackney right next door.

They have a bunch of their own beers (I think they brew at their other location and then pour here) as well as a couple guest beers. The taps change all the time but there is such a wide variety of beer you'll definitely find something. Even though it was summer, I most recently opted for a stout that was over 10%.
