RR put on a new roof in my house in September'16. Less than a year later it leaked. They came out and "fixed it" . It started leaking again a few weeks ago. I called to have them come out. They sent out a tech and he concluded that the issue was a small 12" piece of flashing. He "fixed It" again. He never went up in the attic to look at the big black stain on the plywood. He said he would be in touch for further repairs. He never called back. I had to call over and over again. Finally the admin assistant called to tell me they would not do any further repairs.The head guy didn't have the guts to call me back. Do Not hire this company! We worked with Marc Boutilier to get our roof fixed. He never contacted us for any updates on our insurance status, he avoided phone calls when tried to get ahold of him and he was rude! We were waiting for 3 months, nobody ever came by the house to put tarp on our roof. Our insurance never contacted us regarding their company. We don't even know if they ever did anything to help us get our roof fixed! All I know is that they are not a company I would EVER recommend to anybody! After Hurricane Micheal, our house was heavily damaged. Our priority to be fixed was our roof, then we would proceed with other repairs. When I met Brian Cobb, he said they could have a new roof on our home within a few weeks. After two months passed, we finally got a check in the mail from our mortgage company which was NOT for ONLY the roof (as I was originally promised); it included the whole house. When I confronted Rhyne, they wanted us to sign the check over to them; when I refused, he accused me of having 'trust issues'!!! The check is in our name and Rhyne Restoration's name; we are not releasing our insurance money to someone who just scammed us by submitting a request for funds on the whole house! I talked to the mortgage company and they need a signed agreement that nothing was done, nothing was paid, and nothing is owed. When this request was presented to Rhyne, they refused. Given they have proven themselves as less than professional, we will NOT be doing business with these people. They are holding us captive in a broken home that takes on more damage EVERY time it rains! read more

Our experience with this company has resulted in a wasted 4 months in getting a new roof (from date of estimate to cancellation of contract), something that is desperately needed, as we have had some water coming into our home--a fact that our insurance company as well as photos can attest to. Once Rhyne Restoration received our hefty deposit, communication broke down, and we had to contact them repeatedly to attempt to get any information about our re-roofing project. When the company could not honor what they promised regarding materials, I asked the production manager if someone could come out and show us the materials that would be used in place of what we ordered. His response was something like, "You expect us to drive all the way out there?" and he then suggested that we cancel the contract if we were not happy with the changes. When I responded that we might take him up on that offer (to cancel), he hung up on me. When we decided that evening to cancel the contract due to the behavior of the production manager (in addition to the communication issues), we heard from the owner and a person in the office who asked us to reconsider. The office rep promised to be our main contact, indicating that she would provide us with all the information we needed through the whole process (this same person was one of 3 people who later replied to questions such as, "When is a crew coming out here?" and "What is going on?" with the response of "I don't know.") The owner had materials delivered the following week and promised that the job would start the next day. No one showed. No one called. We called and were told that the job would start the following day. No one showed. No one called. We were then told that the job would start on a Monday. Monday came and went. The office fed us the line that the owner had been away for 5 days at a funeral. Not only had they not mentioned this during previous calls in that time period, but I know plenty of presidents and CEOs of companies who, no matter the circumstances, stay in contact with their businesses so that things continue to operate seamlessly when they are gone. And you do have to question a business that cannot seem to function when the owner is (supposedly) out of town. The owner then told us that the job would start three days later. That morning, again, no one showed and no one called. We were met with sheer confusion and no answers that melted down into rudeness when we attempted to find out if work on our roof would indeed start that day. In part due to communication totally breaking down at that point, we decided to see our attorney that afternoon. The reaction of Rhyne Restoration was less than professional--with the owner yelling that he operates a $30 million business (according to BuildZoom, the reported typical size of their permits is approximately $9,426 and they filed fewer than 500 over the past four years, so that is another of many questionable statements made)--but they did return our deposit once our attorney got involved. Meanwhile, roofing materials continued to take up a large section of our driveway--making it very difficult to get in and out of our garage--as neighbors began questioning what was going on at our property (we have an HOA). Finally: During one call to this company, the production manager thought I was another customer, and he said to "that customer" that he "honestly can't find a crew that wants to do the job." We can only assume this was the issue with our project as well, as Rhyne apparently contracts out its work. We just wish that the company had simply been honest with us rather than stringing us along, as each week that our roof is not repaired, the threat of water intrusion increases. It is also such a shame that someone brags about a so-called $30 million business and seems to have little or no concern over the fact that he is dealing with the welfare of people's HOMES and personal belongings. It makes you wonder how quickly his own roof would be repaired if damaged--would he wait four months? If Rhyne spent as much time and effort on the front-end with customers as they do on the back-end, attempting to recover what they've lost, they would likely experience even more success. read more

Horrible experience with this company, Damaged Gutters, left Shingle bags shoved in gutters and thrown around my yard. No cleanup was ever done. I was NEVER informed the roof was ever finished other than they just stopped showing up and working on it. A month later I got a demand for Payment. This was an insurance claim so no pay would be given until I inform the insurance company, so you think they would inform me. Anyways the Sales associate Anna has threatened to put a lean on my home because she "Accidently" messed up my paperwork and put me as a "Cash" buyer instead of an insurance claim so she said I need to hurry up and pay. I have asked for the owner to contact me and have yet to receive any call from him and I even wrote him on Facebook to reach out but still nothing. They just expect me to take a a loss on the damage they caused and do nothing but say take some money off for the gutters. I don't know what gutters cost, why is it on me to replace them? I'm not a roofer and I'm not the one who hired inexperienced roofers to do the job. Now Anna is threatening me again with past duepayment but little does she know until I get an actual call from the owner to apologize for the damage they caused to my home and for the disrespect Anna has given me and a final inspection and a handshake thanking me for my business they can talk to a lawyer because I have documents and pictures showing the business negligence and the blackmail by Anna. Oh also I asked for peel and stick and not the felt they were going to install, I got 2 different answers on to what they actually installed but not only that I was waiting for an estimate and never received one until I got a bill a month after install with a discount for the damaged gutters. Who is to say they aren't cheating me on the peel and stick or over charging me to cover for the gutters they damaged. After hurricane Irma came through, our home, and business had significant damage to the roofs. I called at least 5 companies, but not one showed up,responded to my left messages etc. So I reached out to this company, even though they were over 30 miles away in Orlando. Within 24 hours, they sent a crew out to tarp our home,and business,so there wouldn't be anymore leaking/damage. Then about 3 weeks later,we were able to work with insurance, and get both new roofs. Even the estimator came back over a week later from his first visit, to help us negotiate with the claim adjuster. He went above, and beyond to help us. I highly recommend this company. The bill came in higher than what the insurance company would give me but Rhine adjusted the bill so I didn't have to pay more. Their slogan is "superior customer service and great quality" and anything could be further from the truth. I bought a home that had a roof previously installed by Rhyne in 2018, I purchased the home in late 2019 and started to see issues in 2020. I could not locate who had completed the roof timely due to previous owners passing away prior to selling. I did not expect a warranty or any of the like, only wished for a leak I had found in my attic to be fixed. Their manager, Tony, came out to my home and we climbed on the roof where he immediately tried to pass the blame to anyone but himself and Rhyne. I could not care less who's fault it was, and repeatedly told him I just needed it to be addressed and fixed regardless of warranty. He pointed out where the leak "was probably coming in at due to lack of a water channel" from the chimney repair person, and left a bead of choppy silicone in the cracks of the roof where chimney met the cricket. At no point did he perform a water leak test and came to my home with no equipment barring a ladder ( he used my personal silicone for the caulk job). The chimney repairman came out next day, performed the water test, was super helpful and nice and as I expected traced it to a faulty flashing and that he would be more than happy to coordinate with roofer to fix. I called Tony back and started back into the blame game. He was of no help and went as far to say that he did not care if I left a bad review. Well be wary what you wish for, as I have never been hung up on or treated so poorly by a manager of a company in my life. STEER CLEAR OF THIS MAN AND COMPANY! I called the main office and found no help from staff since Tony is the production manager, I asked to speak to owner and he was "busy" since it was a Friday. The sales reps who initially came were kinda pushy. We did use them due to the fact that they were referred to us by a friend. They did get the job done super fast though and it looks fantastic! Bill Hall, their salesman was excellent but once I signed up it took several weeks before they actually did the job (Bill did a temporary patch when he came out). A year later, I decided to re-roof the newer part of my house and called Rhyne twice but never got a response, so I hired another roofer who did the job for considerably less than Rhyne's original estimate to me. Now, after Irma, I have a small leak in the roof that Rhyne did, easy to fix if I wasn't 79 years old. Called Rhyne but not too optimistic that anyone will come out. My neighbors hired this company to re-roof their home. The roofers constantly trespassed on my property, leaned against my home during breaks, Left cigarate-filled cups on my property, ran a loud generator for 7+ hours just inches from my window, left roofing material in both ny side and rear yard. To make matters worse, I noticed that after the left, my newly installed gutters were heavily littered with roofing shingles, nails, debris. I called the company to voice my concerns and offer them the chance to rectify the issues. It's been over a week and they have failed to return my calls. I resorted to cleaning all of the debris from my gutter and home. When you hire a contractor it's not only important that they respect your property but as any person of integrity and ethics knows, they should respect your neighbors property as well. They opened an office in Stockbridge, Ga. in 2013 get get as much of the roofing jobs as possible from a bad hail storm. I was suckered into using them. They used 30 year shingles which are falling off my roof. They are in Orlando, Fl. now and will not answer the phone. I had to have them stop and re-due the job while they were here. They killed my fern bed and acted like it did not matter. They broke a window which I did not find until later. They installed the roof so out of line I had to get up there and add a drip rail to repair their sloppy job. Now part of the roof was rotting away and I had someone come out to preair it ($3300) and they told me Rhyne did a horrible job. They took pictures to show me that Rhyne did not cover the entire roof with tar paper and the flashing looked like Swiss Cheese. Rhyne's sloppy work cost me $3300 to repair and their 30 year shingles are still falling off the house and the insurance agent told me they may last another 10 years. read more

This was one of a few companies I attempted to get a quote from for a roof repair. Lawrence McKinney was the agent who came to inspect my roof and he recommended I file a claim with my insurance company, stating that he would come out when the insurance inspector was here to support the claim. He stated that he felt my roof condition was such that they would be able to have the insurance company replace my roof. I signed the contract and verified with him the night before the time of the appointment and he stated that he would be able to make it. The next day the insurance inspector arrives, but nobody from Rhyne. My texts and calls to Lawrence were ignored. I called the main office 3 times and they said their general manager (Anne?) would handle it, and despite multiple attempts I've never heard anything back from anyone at this company. Not the seal of quality expected by a BBB approved business. At the end of the day, my claim from my insurance company was completely rejected and I'm back to square one. NOT using this company and do not recommend, very shady practices. The receptionist was the only person who actually seemed to care about my experience. read more
