This is a beautiful outpatient surgical center. The only thing that would make me want to go…read moreelsewhere is the policy they have. The person who is taking you there and taking you home cannot leave the premises. So you are there for 4-5 hours or longer just waiting. They even make you sign saying you won't leave the premises. It's a big inconvenience and totally unnecessary. When asking why they require this they have no answer. You get 2 calls. One from the doctor after the surgery and another one to pick up the patient.

RE: Olivia Perry, PA. I was extremely disappointed with my visit with Olivia Perry, PA. In my…read moreexperience, there was essentially no meaningful physical assessment of my hip pain. Her response was basically, "You have hip pain? I'll order an MRI." She asked where my pain was, and when I pointed to the area, she tapped it with her index finger. That was the extent of the physical examination--and even that occurred only after I specifically asked whether she was going to examine me. As a retired Nurse Practitioner, I found this particularly concerning. I actually had to explain to her how to perform an appropriate assessment of hip pain and asked whether she was going to perform certain examination maneuvers used to help identify the source of hip pain. Her response was, "They didn't teach me that in school." I was stunned. A patient should not have to prompt a medical provider to perform a physical examination, and certainly should not have to teach the provider how to assess the condition for which the patient is being seen. Ordering an MRI is not a substitute for a competent history and physical examination. She also never called me with the MRI report. Luckily, I had the report and images and knew what to do. Based on my experience, I had no confidence whatsoever in the quality of the clinical assessment I received and would not recommend this provider.

: Incredible Administrative Care, but Completely Let Down by the Providers:I have very mixed…read moreemotions about my visit here. On one hand, I want to give a massive shoutout to Kristen White. She was incredibly professional, genuinely listened to my requests, and took excellent care of me. In a moment when I was in extreme pain and feeling completely overwhelmed, Kristen made me feel like an actual human being. Her empathy and customer service were a solid 5/5 stars.Unfortunately, the medical care from the actual providers was deeply disappointing. I came in with an acute sports injury after hearing a physical "pop" in my foot, experiencing swelling on the top of my foot, and dealing with severe nerve pain. They took X-rays but didn't bother to sit down, look at them with me, or properly explain a clear diagnosis. Instead, they completely dismissed a severe structural injury as basic plantar fasciitis, handed me some topical gel, and sent me on my way.To make matters worse, they told me it was "normal to work under these conditions"--completely ignoring the fact that my daily job requires heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting of heavy objects. Because they refused to give me an immobilization boot or take the soft-tissue damage seriously, I have spent days favoring my left leg. I have now developed agonizing sciatica from straining my back just trying to hobble around.Kristen White deserves a promotion for her outstanding humanity and professionalism, but the medical providers seriously need to re-evaluate how they dismiss patients with acute traumatic injuries.

Rhode Island Eye Institute - Still haven't gotten a call back on that appointment. How absurd for a doctors office.

Just a few things to note, so buyer beware:…read more -I went in for a routine, annual eye exam, which is 100% covered by my healthcare insurance. However, this was billed as a "diagnostic" exam since the provider "found" dry-eye syndrome, something I never complained of or has trouble with. Result: $30 co-pay -A prescription for glasses or contact: An additional $60 -A "contact lens fitting assessment" (considered to be 'cosmetic') even though this has not changed in year. Result $70 Total Bill for an routine eye exam: $160 Be VERY skeptical of this place. I understand the contact lens fitting charge, as I have paid for that in the past, but the other two (2) charges are pure 'junk fees'. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this place.

Good luck getting a hold of anybody or your medical records. The actual physicians are excellent, but the practice is horrendously-run. The waiting room is always filled, parking is a nightmare, the receptionists are incredibly rude, and the entire experience is more like you're cattle, or just a number. I couldn't fathom going back after the breath of fresh air that is my current eye doctor. Oh, and since I couldn't cancel my appointment because I switched providers and wasn't able to let them know (ya know, because they don't answer the phones), suddenly they're calling and emailing. No thanks.

It was exceptionally clean, neat, and aesthetically pleasing while still feeling professional and welcoming. The front office staff were warm and friendly, and both of Dr. Finley's assistants were spectacular professional, attentive, and thorough in explaining everything. Dr. Finley carefully explained the procedure, the expected results, and what I could anticipate during recovery. She also took the time to answer my other questions. Throughout the procedure, she used humor to help me relax and feel more comfortable, which I greatly appreciated. She was warm, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed. I was so impressed with Dr. Finley and her entire staff that I decided to continue seeing her for my general dermatological care. Her expertise, professionalism, and warm personality are truly exceptional. I highly recommend her!

The chiropractor dealt with the pain/posture, but Performance Physical Therapy has helped me "target" the injury with stretching and strength exercises. I've been working with Dr. Holt and Dr. Nogueira, who have both done an excellent job. Dr. Nogueira did an intake and had me do some basic stretches to identify the "source" of the injury. I've been seeing Dr. Holt about twice a week, who has been supervising me, while I do exercises and stretches to ensure that I'm doing it correctly. They use an online portal to send you exercises to do at home. You can check off which ones you've done, take surveys and even earn points and badges. It's a lot of fun! They're social distancing regulations are really good. They tape off the waiting room, so you can't sit six feet from anyone else. They assess you for signs of COVID when you enter the office. When you enter the physical therapy area, they immediately ask you to wash your hands and record your temperature. Everyone is wearing masks/goggles and there is enough hand sanitizer going around to kill a baby elephant. In spite of this, I switched over to telehealth very easily, in order to be extra-safe. Really happy with the progress I've been making so far. Highly recommend!
