We called Dr. Howe's office to see if they would accept a non-patient appointment. Without hesitation, they said come on in. When we arrived, all of the staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The wait (for not being a patient and for not having an appointment) was minimal. Everyone, including Dr. Howe, made my son feel extremely comfortable. When we left the office, my son said he'd come back to Key West just to go to Dr. Howe's office. I can not recommend Dr. Howe's practice enough. Many thanks to Dr. Howe and her staff for helping my son and for being so kind.

I've never had a cavity or anything so at 49 years old I feel like a terrified little kid and they are so wonderful! They've guided me how to keep my natural tooth as long as possible, never rushed me toward any procedure like crown, root canal or extraction until now when the tooth is really needing to be taken out. Even then, Dr. Jones was happy to refer me to a local surgeon who does sedation which they don't do at Paradise, in case I was feeling like I needed that. I couldn't help but rant and rave for an hour about how amazing the staff was even though I couldn't feel my face. I cracked my tooth so bad this morning I thought for sure I needed a crown, I had anxiety all day about how long it would be until I could fix it, how expensive it would be.. To my utter disbelief they fit me in the same day AND fixed it immediately with JUST A FILLING! Any other dentist would have said welp, you need a crown! And called it a day. But no, they were incredibly skilled, it was really comfortable, they were so kind, very fast, and actually affordable. I can't say enough how grateful I am.

First experience was terrible. The second visit's redeeming factor: Carlos. If he was the one to…read morehelp us on day one, we would have easily lifted review level and stars. Staff are young and inexperienced. Two people "in training" on their first day were paired up to take X-rays and assess patients. What should have taken 5-15 minutes took 2 hours and 15 minutes. No one stepped in to help the trainees. At the end, only after we noted our discontent, did someone say "we are short-staffed". Before that, both days, they blamed their own staff's lack of knowledge and experience on, "they are doctors from other countries". The young girls at the front desk, rather than encourage and praise their "doctors from other countries", protecting and defending them, chose instead to use it against them as faults for being inexperienced and slow. If we hadn't been forced into pre-paying our cleanings after the initial exams, we would never have set foot in this establishment again. Now we are hoping they repay us what they owe, as our insurance covered everything.
