Matt was extremely adaptive and creative on the fly. His communication through everything was our saving grace. From steam pipes in the way or the floors caving in, it was extremely impressive to watch the solutions come into play. He had pipes rerouted or removed altogether and completely re-framed portions of our floors. One part of the floor was a brick floor over a basement that had started to cave in. Matt knocked out all the loose brick and poured a slab that tied into the solid brick. I had no idea how a giant hole in our brick floor was going to be fixed but he adapted seemingly without a hitch in the entire project. I would highly recommend Matt and his company Exedra!

I called one company I knew and I had to keep calling and calling back to get an estimate. After two weeks of waiting, I decided to call someone else and stumbled upon Johnston Roofing. Charlie came over and wrote me up an estimate on the spot on a pre-printed multi part yellow form -- warranty included (did I mention old school?), I just went with them without waiting for the other estimate because he said he could do the job the next day, max two days. Well, that solves my problem right away so I go for it without even getting the other estimate. His guys come, the job is neat and clean--no more leaks and done in one day. I have a nice new white colored roof which is greener too. Five days later, I get the estimate from the other guys and it was way more complicated and expensive. Guess I'm lucky the other guys took so long.

My Roof is still under warranty, but I will not be yelled at and disrespted again (if he has to come back because I still have a leaks). A warranty should always be honored. No customer should ever be treated in a hostile manner! I paid alot of money, and did not yell or disrespect him because of his pricing. Never again.

After 6 days, (not including wait time for my tiles to arrive), I have 2 bathrooms and one powder room updated! Even when we ran into some issues (a couple more leaks, plumbing issues, some mold), Kennedy stayed true to the quote he provided me. He and his team were meticulous. Very happy with his work. It's so hard to find an honest, reliable, available contractor here in Westchester who's not going to charge you for every little thing. I feel so fortunate finding him. Is it proper for a licensed electrician to leave a job that violates code and is a safety concern?…read more Tony from Axel General Contractor was hired to install a new outlet for a new electric stove. After calling him, I forward a text saying "Definitely call me back about installing the new outlet." I bought the supplies today. That text has been archived along with the whole thread. Tony provided a price of $326. He visited and connected the stove to an aluminum outlet box and plug. When he finished, the stove as not flush to the wall as he simply connected it to the aluminum outlet box. I brought this to his attention and he said the stove was connected and that he did his job. He also said that if I wanted the outlet installed he or one of his associates would have to return which would be an additional cost. My building superintendent spoke to Tony and informed him that his work violated building code and was a safety violation which he would be responsible for. Tony remained defiant. I just filed a BBB Complaint asking for situation to be remedied by simply finishing the job so it is compliant. Bottom line: Licensed electricians are hired to assure work is safe and complies with code. There is no other option.

Shafayet and his crew did a truly amazing job, and I am so thankful for all their time, care, and commitment to making our house special and beautiful. This was a big job. We installed 2 new kitchens, 2 new bathrooms, rebuilt the back wall of our house to add large windows, added a deck, skylights, and a bunch of other things in between. At every step, Shafayet worked hard to make sure the house turned out perfectly. I have nothing but the best things to say about our new home and the care Multi put in to make it right. For this type of work, we received bids from a number of different people. Multi priced everything very competitively and they are very transparent on costs for change orders. The millwork / finishing / painting done by his team were meticulous, and we ended up 2 beautiful new apartments - a triplex with 2 bedrooms 2 baths, and a duplex with 2 bedrooms / 2 baths. Shafayet was always responsive to our inquiries / requests and provided solutions to the many problems that were encountered in a project of this size. He also coordinated well with the architect and third party vendors that were involved in this project too.
