We were looking to upgrade our kitchen sink and faucet, but our problem was that our sink cutout was custom. New sinks wouldn't fit without making a few cuts to our countertop. The plumbers we contacted were either really busy or really expensive (meaning they wouldn't want to do it unless it's really worth their time). His rate was competitive and it was a flat rate for the job. Through our correspondence, Elijah even downloaded the cutout template of the new sink to give us an estimate how much would be cut and what his rate would be for making the cut. On the day of the job, he came in prepared and he was very respectful of our time and space. We provided our new sink and faucet to install, and he recommended that we should upgrade our garbage disposal too since it was pretty old. Miguel is easy to communicate with and reviewed all the work I requested. I wanted new flooring, wall paneling removed and smoothed out with new paint, change of all the fixtures and exhaust fan, change the shower door and mirror, and add a recessed light over the shower. He provided the quote and we agreed to a payment plan. He informed me of everything that I needed to purchase on my end and have ready for his team when they arrived. Property Damage: During the relocation of garage items, my refrigerator was moved. It ceased functioning immediately following the move. A certified technician inspected the unit and provided a written assessment stating the failure was due to damage sustained during transportation. IT IS POSSIBLE that it could have been pure coincidence. I did not file a claim or state I wanted money for the fridge. Financials: Zilvanis requested an interim payment of $150 for labor already performed. I paid this amount, even though the contract designated the final $300 to be paid only after a successful final walkthrough.   Project Termination: When I shared the technician's findings regarding the refrigerator, the contractor denied responsibility and immediately cancelled all remaining work. Incomplete Scope: Due to the abrupt cancellation, the installation of door weather stripping was never completed. The contractor remains in possession of the delivered part.

I have several businesses who responded to my search but I chose Steve's because they offer a $65 diagnostic fee, which can be applied towards a repair. My decision was based on their price being more affordable compared to others; their Yelp rating is outstanding, and their immediate availability. I sent a message last night, and the company responded with their price quote and the magic words, "I can be there tomorrow." Our scheduled time was between 2-4pm, and Erick arrived at 3pm. Prior to that, Erick texted me to let me know that I would be his next customer. He also updated me of his ETA. Erick checked my freezer and found out there is a leak that's preventing my freezer from freezing. He advised me to get a new fridge as it will cost me more to repair my fridge. The diagnostic took less than 5 minutes. However, he stayed to recommend a company that's selling open box fridge for a discounted price. Erick also offered to pick up and deliver the fridge if I order from that company and in the event they don't deliver. He also told me that he would credit my $65 towards future repair. You can also get $20 off only if you get something repaired and give them a review. I appreciate the honesty of the service and the fact that he did not make me feel rushed. The responsiveness and their immediate availability even during the rain made me feel secure that I'm dealing with professional people. $65 is worth my peace of mind. I will use this business again for future needs.
