Had reservations for lunch and were quickly seated. There is valet available, but a large parking lot was available so we just did that. Our server, Jackie, did a wonderful job. We started with the burrata with roasted veggies and truffle fries. I could eat both of these things every day and would be perfectly content. I'm glad we shared because I would have eaten all the fries myself if I had ordered them. I went with the lobster roll and Holy butter. Very good and very rich! This does seem a bit on the pricier end of places to have lunch so know before you go!! Ended with getting to go drinks at the coffee and wine bar to walk around the estate and take it all in. Chai latte with almond milk was a great way to round out the meal and you can walk around with your beverage. Lovely space, but in general, RH is not my style. The estate is amazing though and I'm sure it's even better in spring and summer. read more

Visiting today for the first time - what a spectacular home and grounds. You get a glimpse of how the other half lives. Did not have an interest in the restaurant today, my focus was on the home- and it's fabulous. If you understand that it was a private residence for many years, and a monastery prior to that ( per Wikipedia) you can just walk around and soak in the fireplaces, statues, gardens, just the fantastic spaces and the outdoor areas. Quality oozes out of every detail. The staff who roam around are happy to answer questions- and encourage you to go outside - purchase a wine or coffee and continue your stroll. We finally made it to RH at the DeHaan estate. It was a beautiful day to tour the property inside and out. The dining area was buzzing and we didn't have a reservation, but we enjoyed delicious lattes and impeccable hospitality during our visit. I suggest visiting on a day with good weather because walking the outside grounds was our favorite part. As we were leaving, we were already planning our return visit! read more

Extremely average burger for $18. Feels like you're eating at a kind of snooty restaurant, but one that's in a restoration hardware. Definitely won't return. The grounds are very nice, but the interior of the place is just a crappy restoration hardware, all gray/tan with RH furniture you can buy. Very weird experience. The Dehaan Estate is a walking museum. Perfect for a day or date night. The food is nothing to rave about. It's the atmosphere and being able to walk around while having a glass of wine in your hand and looking in awe at the beautiful RH furniture to the sculptures surrounding the stonewall hallways. read more

Beautiful space! The service was amazing and accommodating of our small child. Food was high quality. The burger was a very generous portion. However, entrees don't come with sides and it's very easy to run up a tab. We loved exploring this showroom/mansion and plan to go back to visit the grounds in warmer weather. This is my fifth trip to RH! I didn't get a photo of the Caesar salad with salmon but I get a Bellini every time I go! Loved the service and location, the portions aren't very filling though. I also ordered the artichokes to make the meal more filling. read more

Waited a while to be seated after our reservation. The artichokes were salty and crispy. The fries were good with a healthy amount of oil. The birthday cake was the worst. Dry and hard, almost concrete and could barely get our spoon in. Plenty of seating and the service was good. The drive up was not worth it as it was slightly overpriced. I have been twice and I have enjoyed each time! I'm so glad Indianapolis now has a location because it is really a great experience. You are able to grab a drink or coffee from the wine bar and explore the galleries while you wait. Honestly, I was expecting it to be much more, but we were able to get a coffee and Bellini, two chicken sandwiches, sweet potato fries, and the butterscotch brûlée for about $100! The butterscotch brulee was one of the best desserts I've had! On another occasion, we had the burrata and it was excellent! Wow. This place is gorgeous. Definitely a high end experience. We went on a busy Saturday night - the service was adequate but definitely strained. We ordered the chips and dip with caviar - very yummy but you could barely taste the caviar with this presentation. The charcuterie board was delicious. My husband and I split the Caesar (came with our entree) and I had salmon. Both were good. The star of the show was the caramelized banana split. If you order nothing else there, get this. There is a delightful little wine bar off to the side of restaurant. Get there early, grab a glass, and walk the beautiful grounds. read more

Reserve your table earlier than the time you want, as they seem to be short handed and the manager informed us that one must wait additional time beyond the reservation time so to get better service as the server will be caught up. Sadly service was just ok. Should not have to keep asking for refills and condiments repeatedly. Was also out of Salmon. Probably sold out during our extended wait. RH is truly an experience unlike anything else. The house is beautiful from the moment you pull into the drive. There's the option of valet upon arrival. You're able to explore the grounds openly and view their furniture and design. We were impressed with how much of the grounds is open to visitors. There is a wine bar to get a glass of wine as you explore or purchase a bottle. We experienced great service from the moment we walked in, and loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and they take great care in the details of your dining experience. The lobster roll was wonderful and served warm. It is a pricier dinner and wine experience, but everything was up to quality for the price point. It's a great place for a date or celebration dinner. We can't wait to return and hopefully bring some family and friends as well. RH is a unique and memorable place that I recommend everyone visit at least once! read more

Enjoyed a birthday lunch here! I'm so confused by some of the negative reviews because we had a wonderful experience. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed exploring the property. The service was flawless! Every member of the staff was so warm, welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed everything we had for lunch and I can confidently recommend ordering these menu items: the bagel and lox as a starter (a very fun presentation!), lobster roll (a solid classic) and ribeye sandwich (this was a standout!), sweet potato fries (the rosemary aoli was so good) and the butterscotch brûlée (salty, sweet perfection!). Our server Peyton was attentive and gave excellent recommendations, everything was hot, fresh and our lunch lasted 1.5 hours including after meal coffees. We had an absolutely incredible experience on a Saturday when the restaurant was at capacity. We can't wait to come back in the spring to enjoy the grounds when everything is green and in bloom. We are so lucky that the public can enjoy this Indianapolis gem. My one recommendation would be to have something that gives a history of this spectacular property. I would love to know more about the origin of the plot of land, the history of the buildings and of course learn more about Christel DeHaan and her home and her art collection. read more

The 1 star is based on the service and treatment received at this particular RH. This is my 3rd RH I've been to and the food is always spot on for the price and tier of the restaurant. RH Indy is no different in that regard. We strolled in to have a nice meal on Sunday 2/18/24, the Sunday of the NBA All Star Weekend. Obviously because of the event, a lot of restaurants are patronized more then on a usual weekend, and I knew RH would be no different. Upon entering, it was lively with probably 80% of the dining room seating taken. I approached the host and prompted we were looking for a table for two of us. He told me it would be about a hour wait and asked if that would be okay. The juice wasn't going to be the worth squeeze for me so I told him no thank you. As we were leaving, I couldn't help but wonder with a fair amount of tables open, how it was going to be that long of a wait considering I didn't see anybody noticeably on stand by for their upcoming reservation. I figured it can't hurt to check Open Table on my way out. To my surprise(sort of) there were reservations for 2 every 15 minutes for the next couple of hours, and wouldn't you know it, one coming up in 10 minutes. Now I'm a little perplexed. I verify all the information with my girlfriend, and she verified I wasn't seeing things. So I decided to book a table. I approach the host again with confusion in my voice thinking that most likely the Open Table app and the actual RH reservation list wasn't synced or something. He looked at me and said "Umm, yeah we can probably accommodate those reservations. But you are about 10 minutes early so we will take your number and text you when your tables ready." Now I'm pretty confused and mildly frustrated on why they were going to turn us away when evidently they had plenty of openings they weren't willing to disclose. I understand maybe they have some sort of reservation metric to meet, but why wouldn't you make a guest aware of that and point them in the right direction? It just really put a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel very unwelcome. I get RH has a image to uphold, but get real. At the end of the day it's low tier fine dining, if that, with overpriced furnishings you can browse with a glass of wine in hand. Personability goes a long way and snobby exclusivity doesn't. I visited RH for Mothers Day, I will tell you it's an absolutely beautiful setting to have dinner, but the menu is very limited, I had the Cesar salad, too much Parmesan cheese on top you could barely taste anything else, I also ordered the filet it only came in the 7oz size, they do not offer baked potatoes, only regular. Truffle, or sweet potato fries, only green veggie is broccolini, for dessert it's truly limited, so I gave them a 4 star because what food they had was pretty good, but mostly the 4 star was for the ambiance read more

The location is a must see, skip the restaurant. I was so looking forward to treating the family to a nice dinner, the food portion size and wait staff showed up short. The menu did not provide many options if you are a vegetarian, all the dishes are A La Carte. We ordered a homemade chips and dip appetizer $45 and it was a small bowl, the waitress said to ask if we needed a refill, we asked for a refill and was charged $18. $63 for some thinly sliced potatoes with dip. The waiter spilled food on my daughter while serving her food. Our dessert got given to another table and we had to wait while another one was being made. I reserved a table a month in advance as they only have 2 tables that sit 6-8 people. When we arrived they sat us at a 2 top and 4 top. Highly unorganized staff on top of the other issues I mentioned above. I would recommend going, having a glass of wine, look around, sit out back, and eat somewhere else before arriving. read more
