Have just completed a complete garage makeover with Garage Theory and can't begin to express my…read moreexcitement and accolades for this Company. Owner Shawn Stevens is a remarkable individual who maintains the highest integrity and character of anyone I have done business with. He is a consummate professional in every aspect. His initial visit left me convinced I wanted to work with Garage Theory, irrespective of other garage design companies I vetted. Though the opportunity for selecting an alternative company with lower pricing may have seemed the more prudent approach, it was clear from each interaction with Shawn that Garage Theory was superior in every facet from design, cordiality, professionalism and quality of workmanship, installer job satisfaction and installation. From product selection to no-pressure sales to installation and followup, each step was beyond my expectations. Several examples emphasize my experience. 1. No pressure sales; constant followup through design stage, timeliness on installation and professional installers. 2. Shawn refused final payment until each detail was addressed and resolved following installation. The cabinets required a remake of a cabinet door as it was a few millimeters wider than the others which I hadn't noticed but the installer brought to my attention and so a new door was manufactured and installed without hesitation. 3. Business bashing by his competitor did not rattle Shawn. He took the high road and paid complements to the competitor and acknowleged that each company has strengths and weaknesses but there is room for each company in the business. 4. Shawn encourages customers to shop and compare with competing companies and let the consumer conclude that Garage Theory is that one company that conveys high standards, pursues professional and courteous sales and installation and exceedingly high quality cabinets, shelving and wall units for hanging items. Obviously, I am high on Garage Theory after my experience but am confident their approach is consistant with each project and consumer. The end result more than justifies the cost. 5-stars and a standing ovation!!

I was impressed with his understanding of the chemical make up in the materials used and how the prep work is carried out. I got back with him 4 months later and scheduled for him to give us a quote while the drywall was going up. Long story short, he met my needs and worked with me on the timing. The crew (Luke, Pat and Damien) spent all day cleaning, sanding and applying the product. I came out several times to look and they answered my questions and explained what I was seeing. When they finished I was so excited at the beautiful garage floor! They even created a texture finish in areas as I was concerned about the floor being slippery when wet. I couldn't be more pleased! Friends all comment how great it looks. I'm thrilled with the product and finish and I highly recommend their company.

It was a large project! We live in a neighborhood of 1.5M+ homes and were haggled and up charged by other vendors ..our advice, save the headache with other companies and just call Guardian. Their knowledge, skill, precision, punctuality and customer service is top notch. From the beginning to the end of the project they have guided us and have done an immaculate job. We had dark cherry woods to work with and wanted to tone down the color but also allow it to flow with our dark staircase and blend into the new. They aided in finding a match that coordinated and flowed without taking away from the home. It's rare to find the tenacity and quality this company exudes. Typically everything is subcontracted out with most companies which is not the case with Guardian. The owners are hands on and invested in the project just as much their team is. And an added bonus they have a veteran on the team!

It seems that the biggest challenge with hiring a contractor is finding someone who communicates well and is responsive. Fortunately, Homestead offered both- they were very communicative through the estimate process, securing materials and throughout the construction. All of their staff was very friendly and made us feel comfortable having them at our house. We used request a quote through Yelp to kick off the experience and felt good about their positive reviews. Our composite deck with aluminum railing was completed on schedule. They did a fabulous job at the attention to detail and quality work. Grateful to work with them and we will definitely keep them in mind for future projects.

Now this was our first home reno project ever, but I'm pretty sure that's not how it's suppose to go. So after having some electrical work done, my electrician asked if I had ever thought about "putting my own team together?" We embarked on starting with a plumber. We hired our plumber and wondered into a story-telling session with the lady setting my appt on the phone. I told her about all the contractors we'd had come and go and not have a single call back. She recommended I call Chuck at Homestead Construction. She said she wasn't sure what his schedule currently held, nor if he'd be able to take on the job, but at least I could try. I'm so glad I did! Homestead Construction has been a dream come true to work with. From beginning to end Chuck and his team had everything under control and exactly as we asked. We only had a couple of problems, but Chuck was quick to the draw to have them fixed or figured out. I wouldn't change anything about our experience. The timeline was a bit drawn out, but that was due to workers shortages. The estimate was exactly as stated and right in line with what websites for home/basement renovations stated they should be. We didn't end up over budget and I'm grateful to Chuck for that. We will not hesitate to call Homestead Construction for any future renovations we need done on our home. Thank you Chuck, and your team, for a terrific experience.
