We have recently completed our third design project, each one completely different, with Charmean…read moreNeithart Interiors. We purchased a "flip" at the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic believing we would move in immediately. After spending more time in the house we realized quickly we needed to call in professional help. While many might balk at undertaking a home remodel during a pandemic - not Charmean and her staff. All work including selecting fabrics, wallpaper, carpets, window treatments, paint colors, lighting fixtures as well as building numerous custom pieces of furniture flowed seamlessly from start to completion. Additionally, Charmean connected us with an excellent contractor, painter, picture hanger and even a flawless mover. Charmean and her team are a joy to work with, competent, caring, available and seasoned. Charmean listened to our goals for the new home and this current stage in our lives and fulfilled each of our requests exactly. I wholeheartedly endorse CNI and am truly looking forward to our next project together.

Great little (or actually large) place tucked off of Southport Rd off of I65. We walked in one…read morerainy Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the vast array of decor, furniture, and gift items. And Karen, who was actually there and it was her, was so nice and told us about her store -the history of it, what she has where she got it..ect. So friendly and helpful! I absolutely love everything inside....it hard to leave without buying anything! I am sure we will be back to spruce up our new home soon! And everything is very reasonably priced -not over priced like a lot of places you go into with the same sort of items. Everything seemed so unique...not something you can find at your everyday walmart or meijer...but not horribly out of those walmart or meijer price ranges either. Wonderful! And there is a style to meet anyone's style...modern, country, chic...you name it. We'll be back!

I'd recommend anything on their menu and the service is usually nice but sometimes it can be a bit slow at dinner time as the place is usually packed.

The grounds are lovely, and driving through the gates of the stone fortress we've all driven by for years is an experience. The drive up to,the house feels like something out of an old movie. Be sure to follow the signs on the grounds directing you to parking...my maps app wanted to send me to the delivery entrance. Parking is straight up the main driveway and then to the right. There is no sign saying where to go in for the dining room...it is the main door to the house. Since we were there for dinner we weren't able to tour the rooms - the gallery/house other than the dining room is closed in the evening. So.,,if you want to see the house be sure to visit in the afternoon. The dining room is definitely upscale, but seems like business casual clothing is fine. As others have mentioned, the prices of food and beverages is much higher than other nice places in Indianapolis...these are California prices. I had a 6oz glass of wine, grilled shrimp and vegetable salad, fries, and a dessert and the tab was over $100 with tip. You are paying for the location for sure. The food was good; the salad was fresh and a decent portion. The fries were fries, and the butterscotch creme brûlée was creamy with a nicely done topping that cracked correctly. Service was iffy...everyone was nice, but they all seemed really new and trying hard. We felt terrible for one young server who accidentally spilled the tray of drinks for our table dousing herself and soaking one of the people in our group. We didn't want her to feel worse so of course didn't make a big deal about it but...management was pretty dismissive noting the stains would come out of our friend's sweater with Spray and Wash...they didn't offer to clean the sweater or even give her a bag...and she had to ask for a new chair since that was soaked as well...other restaurants would have comped something...they didn't even comp her sparkling water... We did walk around the grounds a bit after dinner and it really is a beautiful property. I think I'll make a trip back during hours the gallery is open and just grab a beverage at the bar.
