First- Caution! Darcy does beautiful work- but will scam people when she has the opportunity- she…read moreworked in my house at the advice of a friend where she was already working. I needed three ceilings repaired and my kitchen cabinets painted. She and her partner did a great job on my kitchen. We had trouble with one of the ceilings where it needed to be sanded. Her partner sanded it- a huge job, done very well, but they didn't put plastic sheeting up until the dust was thick on everything. But I was very pleased and appreciative that the sanding was done so well. It was a hard job. But- at my friend's house they started many projects, promising all kinds of free add ons, stopped halfway thru and left her house in total disarray for months, with the promise - over and over that they'd be there"next week"- and not show up. Now/ the work they HAD done was very good- but when they came back, Darcey was pressuring my friend to sign documents that would have her paying them over three years for things she believed were already paid for. Darcey only came back when I threatened to report them to the Attorney General of Indiana. They started the remainder of the work with a bad attitude. Some things were finished right, and most not. And- the house is full of large birds and pets, and Darcey and her partner smoked in the house- which they had never done before-and used a product with highly toxic fumes in the kitchen where my friend had to leave her doors open on a coldNovember night. So causing a security risk to the home , and a health risk to the people and the valuable birds. Then- my friend checked Darcey and her partner Bob's history in Illinois and found they had run a real estate scheme and duped two people out of over $100,000 . They were each fined $20,000. So be careful! She talks a great game- and they really are good at fixing a lot of things-I am very pleased with the job they did at my house- Proceed with Caution!
