My Virginia Realtor Traci Oliver recommended Patrick "Red" McCabe for West Virginia properties. My brother and I met Patrick out in Round Hill one Sunday morning to spend the day driving around Jefferson County, WV looking at properties. Patrick was an interesting and savvy Realtor. He was personable and up front with us. I never felt like Patrick was pressuring me to do anything. I let him know I was still also looking in Virginia with Traci Oliver, and he was totally cool with that. We looked at properties in Charles Town, and discussed the pros and cons of properties in Shepherdstown, Harper's Ferry, and Kearneysville. Afterwards, Patrick did a lot of digging and research for me on the few properties I had expressed interest in. I felt like if I had bought out in West Virginia - Patrick was there to work hard for me and help me get the very best deal! We had a lot of fun with Patrick. If you are in the market to buy a new home in West Virginia, Patrick is someone I would highly recommend - without reservation!

She eased our minds and then got down to helping us figure out exactly what we wanted vs what we needed. She showed us several properties, to give us an idea of what our money could buy us. We were thrilled with her service and patience and the home we ended up purchasing already feels like we've been here for years. Thanks so much Kendra! I wish I could give you 10 stars!

She spent time giving her perspective on the market and easing my concerns about getting started before we had a formal contract with her. She was willing to see many houses throughout our search as we looked at too small and too large homes until we found one right in the middle. Lara was fun to work with, she was always upbeat and helpful. More than anything we felt like Lara was 100% focused on our needs as a family, not about closing a quick deal, not about optimizing her commission, and not about what would have been easy. She felt like part of our family and that she was as invested in finding the right thing for us as we were. She was always thinking strategy for us when she saw we had some interest in a home, and her communication with the other agents was awesome as this approach helped us gain insights and positioning. She talked us through the strategy to make our offer to win against 7 other buyers and we still felt like we got great value for our home. Our only regret is that we used a different agent to sell our prior home and it would have been much smoother and more positive experience with Lara by our side! We also worked with Kim and Kristina at different portions of the closing process and both were great, they were communicative and responsive and gave great information when we had questions.

From day one, he truly listened to our needs and gave thoughtful recommendations about what would be a good long-term investment versus what might end up being a money pit. He wasn't the type to push for a quick sale--in fact, he pointed out property damage and issues we might've missed on our own, which really built our trust. He stood out among all the other real estate agents we attempted working with. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, we ended up getting our top-choice home in just eight days! The process was seamless from start to finish. Even recently, when we needed to relocate, Peter offered to help us find renters and has continued to be supportive. We'll absolutely be working with him again when it's time to sell. As first time home buyers, we felt we got amazing value for the services provided. Highly recommend Peter and the Red Cedar Real Estate team for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, genuine, and reliable agent.

The best way to describe Peter and Red Cedar is high touch, white glove - concierge service. Peter knew the market and had a powerful team of equally adept realty professionals. Nothing happened without Peter's knowledge and he always focused on what was best for us: Initially meeting through closing. Here's where the professionalism goes to another level - Peter builds relationships with his clients, throws mixers, and checked up on us a couple of times per year. And, he DIDN'T ASK US FOR THE NEXT DEAL each time he subtly checked in on us over 5 years! He and his team cares about you - long term not just to get a sale. After 5 years of relationship building, we called Peter and the Red Cedar team for support. He came over. We completed representation paperwork, his AMAZING 360 degree Ariel and interior video/photography genius turned up and transformed our house into a buyer's beacon that sold our home within 24-48 hours of posting - FULL PRICE OFFER!!!! This is Red Cedar - all day long. After getting an offer, Peter and his team coordinate every document, appointment, and follow-up like a well oiled machine. The signing appointment was completely painless without any hiccups in the paperwork or payout - again, Peter and Red Cedar are professionals and the service providers (Ex. Title Company) were exceptional too. Thanks Peter and Red Cedar for your exemplary support, education, and caring over 5 years!
