As prices are high here, I would wait until the after Christmas sales to pick up something (unless you have a big Christmas bonus). Parking can be tricky as the lot is kind of tight.

Anna at Decolure was so incredible, professional, and brilliant in transforming my condo into a…read moredream property for sale, I need to share her talent with the world. I am convinced that her aesthetic work on the condo -- combined with a few refreshments that my contactor handled (fresh paint, new grout) -- elevated the realized sale price by multiple tens of thousands. Hiring Anna was the best expense I ever put into my home. I truly could not have found a better or friendlier stager for my first ever home sale. I found Anna through her 5-star Yelp reviews and her beautiful portfolio of past staging projects, and I saw her aesthetic (warm, modern, luxurious yet artistic, clean, bright) would suit my new-build modern condo and bring life into the space. So many designers are doing MCM or trendy vintage only, but Anna is truly versatile and knows how to amplify your space's existing virtues and maximize the home you have. When she was done staging my property, I was so in love with the space, I wanted to move back in and not sell it! In addition, Anna's price was more fair and competitive than any other stager I met with, and her team of movers were first-class professionals -- they completed the work in a quick one-day install and then completed a spotless removal once our sale closed. I didn't have to do anything to supervise (I was already out of state and my amazing real estate broker coordinated the whole project with Anna). More importantly, Anna generated desire and dreaminess for the home, which resulted in a realized sale price that exceeded my hopes. I truly cannot recommend Anna enough -- if I had another home to sell, or even a space to decorate, I would hire Anna again in a heartbeat and recommend her to all my friends. Talent, professionalism, a gifted aesthetic eye, and an unbeatable inventory of modern furniture and props -- Anna runs a gorgeous staging business and I feel so lucky she worked on my home.

I found a couch I liked online and went into the store to see it in person. I had such a great experience. Very disappointing delivery experience with Living Spaces. The furniture itself may be fine, but…read morethe delivery experience and the way the company handled the damage afterward were unacceptable. During my white-glove delivery, the delivery crew scraped and damaged my brand-new LVP flooring while moving the furniture. Living Spaces acknowledged that the damage occurred during their delivery. The scratches were not something that could simply be cleaned or buffed out--the affected planks needed to be replaced. I asked Living Spaces to reimburse me $300 for the repair, which was already a very reasonable resolution. In fact, I saved Living Spaces money because the flooring company that originally installed my floors had extra matching planks available. This allowed the damaged planks to be replaced without the additional expense of sourcing new flooring. Despite acknowledging the damage, Living Spaces ultimately refused to reimburse me because I did not obtain multiple repair estimates. This is especially frustrating because I had already found a practical and less expensive solution using the original installer and matching leftover planks. What makes this experience even more concerning is the delivery process. Living Spaces promotes a "white glove" delivery experience, but the delivery service is outsourced to a third party, which can then subcontract the actual delivery work. As a customer, you aren't necessarily aware of how many layers are involved until something goes wrong. If you are considering buying furniture from Living Spaces and having it delivered, buyer beware. Make sure you thoroughly document your floors and other property before delivery. Consider following the crew as they deliver. My experience was that once the damage occurred, Living Spaces did everything possible to avoid taking responsibility for a relatively small repair. For me, this experience permanently changed my opinion of the company. I will not be purchasing furniture from Living Spaces again.

My mom was very involved in the design process, and Shir was able to balance both of our perspectives seamlessly -- which is no small task! She really understood how to bring our modern-cozy vision to life while honoring the architecture of our Spanish-style home here in Southern California. Hiring Shir was absolutely worth it. Beyond her expert eye for design, you're paying for the time, clarity, and confidence that come with working with a true professional. We would've spent months second-guessing decisions (and probably made costly mistakes) trying to do this ourselves. Instead, we got a beautifully designed home that feels effortless and perfectly "us." Highly, highly recommend her for both big and small projects -- she's amazing at what she does.
