RG3 are the real G's. I had some minor damage to my left 1/4 panel molding and mud/splash guard. I originally took my car to Maaco, where they sat on my car for over a week, didn't answer the phone, and did absolutely... nothing. The part was paid for I might add. So I repossessed my car from Maaco, and I took my car to RG3. I was greeted by friendly staff as soon as I popped out the car. The gentleman that assisted examined the damage, we walked inside and he created an estimate, which was significantly less than the previous location. I put down a down a deposit that Friday, and by Monday, they were calling to let me know that the part had already arrived. The following week I stopped by and they fixed the damage in less than 45 minutes. Also, they advised that the new mud flap slightly differed. Shoot the new mud flap was actually better with the car logo on it. So he replaced the left and the right side to match. Don't waste your time going anywhere else, go here. Even if the parents outside IDEA school are blocking their driveway. Save yourself some stress and go when school isn't being released lol. Also, the staff inside Caliber collision even recommend them. Only reason I went to Maaco was due to the parents blocking the driveway. RG3 gets 5 stars from me. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! I complained a year and Rafael denied that they did the damage. I took my vehicle to a real repair shop and they told me to take it back to who ever did my hail damage repair because a wire was pinched causing the lights to come on and you had to manually turn them off. I took it back and asked to speak with Rafael he wasn't there but his employee called him and was telling him the situation and he was arguing over the phone talking at me like I was one of his employees finally saying leve the vehicle. I was told by a professional company how long this kind of repair would take but not at this place he kept my vehicle for 17 days, when I call he would not answer the phone then he texted me saying he will call me back (never did) I went to the shop and he would not come out to speak with me he sent his employee. A real company would have called and gave me the status of my vehicle especially after they cause the damage. So don't believe the rating you would have to be part of the friends and family plan to give more than 1star. Too bad i can't give ZERO. read more

I've already gone through all stages of being angry and disappointed. Instead of reinforcing my own frustrations, I'm going to list the facts and allow you, the consumer, to come to your own conclusions about the services rendered by RG3 Collision. Please note that I had to remit my vehicle for service for FOUR VISITS for the same accident and left displeased after nearly three months of waiting. VISIT 1 - I fished tailed and lost control of my truck on the expressway. The end result was damage to the front driver side. Rafael, the owner of RG3, was quick to respond with a quote via Yelp utilizing the photo below. I agreed to his price, and a tow truck arrived at my home to collect my truck later that afternoon. I paid 50% up front per the pre-agreed terms. 24 days later I received a call from the office manager requesting I pay a "little more" (Rafael's words verbatim) on my balance to the tune of $1,000. Although suspicious, I paid it. That's 71% down with no truck. Another 19 days passed before I received the call that my truck was ready to be picked up after a quality control check. I paid the remaining 19% of the balance after 50 DAYS OF WAITING. I found a ride to the shop and didn't even make it off the parking lot before I noticed that my headlights were flickering. They were improperly grounded. I waited in the cold for 35 minutes on New Years' Eve for this to be completed. VISIT 2 - In the day light, I noticed the following inconsistencies: (1) Hood misaligned (2) Suspension of the once damaged wheel was lower than the passenger side (3) Headlights misaligned It took me a week to gather the courage to drive my truck again. The collision was traumatic for me to say the least. I made it to work that cold morning, but my truck overheated on my way back home. I called Rafael. He arrived with his mechanic, called his tow truck, and gave me a ride home. ANOTHER 6 DAYS PASSED. I paid Uber to give me a ride to the shop. The defective radiator was replaced, my hood was adjusted, and what seemed like an equal amount of space was distributed between both front tires and the fenders. The truck that I've owned for 10+ years just didn't look right to me, so I started reviewing old pictures of my truck including a picture that Rafael took himself at his shop during the first 50 days that it was in his possession. Instead of correcting the improper installation of the driver side, Rafael compensated by lowering the suspension on the passenger side to match. VISIT 3 - included the following inconsistencies: (1) Headlights still misaligned (2) Now the suspension of the entire front end was lowered (3) Driver side door was improperly re-installed Rafael agreed to come by to retrieve my vehicle on Saturday, but Saturday came and went with no word from Rafael. I reached out on Monday and again Rafael agreed to come by later that afternoon. This time he kept his word and didn't even apologize for Saturday. ANOTHER 17 DAYS PASSED before Rafael delivered my vehicle to my home. The joy quickly passed. VISIT 4 - (1) .5" variance in suspension between the driver and passenger side - driver side too low (2) fender and driver side door still not flush due to improper re-installation (3) endless trails of mud on the driver side cabin floor (4) caps for my AC were mysteriously missing (5) found a loose/stripped bolt behind the grill by the headlight DAY 87 - I've lost three months of auto insurance expense. Obviously, RG3 Collision bit off more than it could chew. I COLLECTED MY VEHICLE AND TOOK IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. Rafael was unapologetic and showed zero remorse for his shop's underachievement. FINAL RESULT: (A) $200 more than original estimate, which isn't bad considering that he provided a quote using just a photo. (B) Work guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle, although after waiting nearly 3 months, what's the point? (C) 100% inaccurate expected completion reports via text message (D) Possession of my vehicle for a total of 87 days = 12.4 weeks = 2.9 months (E) 4 separate visits to his shop to "fix" what RG3 "fixed" (F) Shop does not utilize floor liners inside the vehicle PERSONAL OPINION: I've had more experience with auto collision repair shops than I'm proud to admit. This is by far my least efficient encounter with any collision shop. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. Had this been an insurance claim in which a rental vehicle was provided, I would have been left with no mode of transportation after 30 days. Although RG3 guarantees its work, the company seems less and less interested in getting your vehicle back to you in a timely manner once the financial transaction has already been completed. On top of everything, I got my truck back dirtier than when I dropped it off. There was no effort to put a liner on the cabin floor as technicians entered and exited my vehicle. RUN AWAY!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND INVEST YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! read more

I was looking for a place to replace my door handles on my 2009 GMC YUKON. I was able to get 3 out of 4 quotes using Yelp. This being the lowest one. I never contacted RG3 because I saw there was no ratings. Even the other 2 places had higher quotes but couldn't get it done until Monday. I took a chance and contacted RG3 and it was the best decision. Rafael is very professional and knowledgeable. The other places told me it would take a day or at the very least half a day to replace the handles. RG3 did it in about 30 mins and for a cheaper price than quoted. They replaced 3 of the 4 handles because one of them was just fine. I can't type a review long enough to give this place its justice. They were helpful and got the job done quick. after paying for the repairs he kept my car for about a year after. the welds are covered in rust. gave him a brand new wiring harness and he just cut the connections he needed and taped them to the old harness. power steering pump is from a junker and not brand new as i was told. there's several sensors and cables dangling from the bottom and not connected where theyre supposed to be. windshield side covers were never put back. horrible experience and customer service... read more
