I also really liked that I could schedule online on Jon's website to make it easier to align my schedule with his availability on my own time. In short, excellent customer service up front and through the whole process start to finish. He might not be the cheapest, and definitely not the most expensive, but it is reasonable and he provides fixed-pricing which he sticks to as long as scope doesn't change. He also pulls all necessary permits and has passed all inspections with flying colors. Jon has now completed two projects for us. About 6 months ago, he installed new bathroom fans in 4 bathrooms and he recently installed an Electric Vehicle charger in our garage (along with a 60 AMP breaker to support it). I received a word-of-mouth recommendation from my neighbors who had Jon perform a much larger project which included significant re-wiring of their entire house, as well as a new breaker panel among other items. Another neighbor had Jon install a bathroom fan as well as some other work. They could not say enough good things about him and they were 100% right. I have nothing but praise for his work quality. I am one of those customers that likes to do a lot of research up front before I buy items for my house. Jon was patient during my bathroom fan researching as well as my EV charger purchasing and provided me his input as-needed. He let me buy my own fans and charger to ensure I got the items that I wanted. Along with all the excellent electrical work that he performed, he also makes sure to check in with the homeowners if there are unexpected decisions that need to be made during his process and he does not push "the expensive option". There were some moments where he had to cut into drywall and he warned me up front that he does not fix drywall (no electrician does). A big bonus goes to his patience, not just with homeowners, but with my kids too. One of my kiddos had a ton of questions and Jon took the time to talk to him and explain how everything worked and some of the fundamentals of electricity (and safety around electricity). They did a fantastic job on that install, however a couple of months after the plugs and switches didn't work on one side of the wall. We call Home Depot and they call Thorogood within 2 days they were out, found the problem to be a faultly circuit breaker on the main box. They replaced it at no charge. Will and his assistant (sorry forgot his name) were both great, very professional, but thing I got was that they did the job as if they were doing it in their own house. Great job and great people.

On January 13 2026 we had a service call to do a whole house inspection. Charged 220.00 for this service with the understanding that if hired to do the work that amount would be deducted from total price. After multiple calls to ask where the estimate for the work was there was still nothing forwarded to the address where the work was to be done. Multiple times I was assured the estimate was in the mail. After a total of 5 or six calls with multiple excuses I finally drove to the office in WS. Again excuses. Service Manager had changed. More excuses. I'd be a fool to do business with them after this and I told them so. Unfortunate since they had been a reliable company for us in the past doing multiple jobs at different residences. In conclusion, spent 220.00 for inspection and the report. Never have received report and offered no apology and certainly no refund of any portion of the 220.00. An appalling way to do business and basically ripping off an elderly homeowner of 220.00.
