The on site manager filled out an incident report and was very kind, but it's been two days and I still have not heard from the district manager Mike Weedman. They refused to give me his contact information and told me I would have to wait for him to contact me. I had to buy a new heat shield because the old one was too damaged. Turns out, the place I took it to for the repair is very close and said they get about 4 damaged vehicles from that car wash a month. So, use the car wash at your own risk.

Jan and Feb for $20/mon, and March $40/mon. Even worse, when I requested cancel and refund, they said would send request, I gave them one week to issue the payment. During the first week, they did not refund, sent me daily emails with advertisement, to ask me the option to extend the subscription and indicated they updated my status. One week later, I called again. They refused $40 refund and called it "final". Please save yourself a hassle, never deal with the dishonest business.

Instead of being treated with basic respect, I was treated disrespectfully because I was having difficulty speaking English. The way I was spoken to and treated made me feel discriminated against because of my race, language, and background. Not being fluent in English does NOT make me stupid, inferior, or someone who deserves to be talked down to. I was a paying customer trying to handle a simple membership cancellation. There was absolutely no reason for the attitude, disrespect, or humiliation I experienced. If your business takes people's money, then your employees should be able to treat those same customers with dignity when they decide to cancel. You don't get to treat people like garbage simply because they have difficulty communicating in English. Management needs to seriously address how customers who speak limited English are being treated at this location. I hope corporate understands that this type of behavior can have serious consequences for a business's reputation. I will NEVER recommend Jet Brite Car Wash in Bolingbrook to anyone. We immediately went in to talk to the manager and he was completely unhelpful. He said all he can do is offer a $30 credit to buy a steering wheel cover off of amazon. We paid $200 for them to ruin his car. After seeing that the manager was handling it very unprofessionally, I left and called to talk to the owner and they told me the manager actually was the owner (I feel like they lied about this). The guy who did the detail did admit that he ruined the wheel by scrubbing the protective surface off. But said that since I accepted the $30, they were no longer willing to talk to me. The Honda dealership said replacing the wheel will be thousands of dollars and that they absolutely cost us a lot of money in resale value. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service.
