Actually a Rain Storm car wash, must have changed names AGAIN! Service is crap. Half of the car wash machines don't work most of the time. Thus week it's the tire shine system that's down. Place is closed down more than it's open. Owner must just spend money like a drunken sailor, cause they don't put money in to fix anything. They don't even pre-spray anymore! Causes a lot of fine scratches. Go to Vics on Route 53, better deal and better wash and they hand dry your car. read more

This location used to be good when previous owners (Donmark's) ran this place. The car wash needs an upgrade. The 3 color soaps constantly gets clogged even though I'm being charged for it, and I addressed this several times. Eh, it will work one day and not again the next day. The mirrors of the car (sedan) do not get rinsed because the rinse sprayers are too high. The price has gone up compared with previous company that ran this place. You would probably get a better deal if you signed up for a monthly membership, that's if you wash your car often, which I do. Also, a MAJOR PROBLEM, the side roads and entire pavement of the entire property needs some major repair. It's worse than the streets of the city of Chicago. It's got huge wide and deep potholes. I addressed this to the people inside, all what I got was "this is not us, it's the city property". Really?? Then the company needs to address this to the city IF it is, unless you want your business to be losing customers. The majority of potholes are on the property anyways. And do not blame the winter, this problem has been here since the summer, it just gotten worse over the past few months. All I can say is I am very disappointed, I will cancel my $22 monthly membership, and go to Jet Brite on Boughton, until this property gets fixed. read more

I stopped in for an oil change and car wash during a break in brutal Chicagoland winter weather. I like this location because it is conveniently available on my way home. Usually there is only a short wait and the staff is always friendly. I noticed on this visit that the customer service is still above average and the wait times still shorter than other car washes in the area. I agree with other reviewers that prices have increased since the new ownership. I also noted that the pre-spray/treatment person was not present on a busy Saturday. I guess the new wash equipment doesn't require pretreatment because my car was clean without the pre-spray. I don't mind paying a little more to keep a local oil change/car wash close to home. But I do urge management to keep a few workers available to wipe down/dry cars after the automatic wash for customers who appreciate the personal service. read more

Never going back here again. Used to love this place under the previous owner and would drive 25 minutes to get here because they did such a great job. Car always looked great and people were friendly to deal with. Similar to other reviews they charging $18 for a WASH ONLY. Includes no vacuuming or wipe down. Or interior clean. Was told I could only get that for an extra $7 by special request When I questioned the staff about the new pricing the response was rude and they seemed annoyed that I was even asking about it. Car wash is adequate but price hike from new owners is redic. However, my rating is for the oil change part of the business. After a recent oil change on Monday I was notified by the oil change guy that when I was driving off they noticed I was leaking oil and he was on his way over to our home to rectify the issue. My garage and driveway was full of oil. He cleaned my cement garage floor but had to tell the manager he didn't know how to clean the driveway, sidewalk and apron. Manager said she never had this happen before and would have to find someone to clean it and that someone would be out on the next day. Never came and no response from the manager until I called her later in the after. She said she told my husband he'd be there Tuesday or Wednesday morning. No one here yet and no call from the manager. Day two of waiting and staying home waiting for nothing. So, not a happy camper and can't find a phone number to contact the home office. Apparently we're not a priority. I sure do miss the former owner, Domark's. Was a better car wash and a much better oil change place by a mile. Steer clear of this place for oil changes! Horrible place! They are blaming me! My car is old! I have a membership and been there at least 6 times this past week! Yesterday my bumper came off!!!! Was stuck under car! I purchased a $75 gift card from Extreme car wash and was gifted a $100 gift card in December of 2020. I have a balance of $97 on one card and $44 on the other card. True Blue purchased Extreme car was recently and won't honor the cards. They offered a one time $20 car wash. Bad business. read more

Carwash was as expected but the check-in was terrible. The auto sign in equipment could not read my credit card even after I removed and reinserted it several times. I was probably tying up the waiting line for 8 or 9 minutes blowing the horn for attendant help before the attendant arrived. meanwhile horns were blasting from the line of cars behind me. The attendant swiped the card 3 or 4 times and it was finally read. Bottom line...I will not revisit that car wash again and will only frequent one with a live attendant at check-in. p.s. As I was waiting in line I saw the attendant having a problem with the adjacent check-in equipment as well. Both within a 10 minute period. Seems to be a chronic problem. read more

I came in and met with Theresa looking to get my 2006 Colorado exterior detailed. She set me up with Ronny, who is a master of his craft! I had pretty bad overspray on the entire passenger side of my truck, the pinstripe all around the truck was about 13 years old, and the Z 71 decals were peeling on the bed of the truck. I asked Ronny to work his magic on the overspray, pinstripe, decals and paint. I was not disappointed! The below pictures do not do his skill justice, no swirl marks no scratches no scuffs marks. Of course the paint is not perfect on a 13-year-old truck, but he returned it to me with a mirror finish! I will be going back again for sure! read more

This has been my go to wash for the past 8-10 years. I was always satisfied with the old wash before the new owners took over. Now the price is noticeably higher for less services. I was there today at about 10am so it was not very busy. The parking lot is a disaster, I may need an alignment after coming in and out of there. They also no longer pre-spray the car before it goes into the wash. Not sure if that matters or not but seemed like something was missing for me. When I got home I took a quick look at my car and it looks terrible. My wheels are still dirty, there was still soap on the back sides of my mirrors, and the my car was still soaked. It used to come out fairly dry which is not the case anymore. I have tried the wash 2 or 3 times since the owners changed to give it a fair chance but I won't be back. I will be looking for a new wash. read more

It seems to me that perhaps since coming under new management , the place lost its' friendly and family-like style. I came there for an oil change about two weeks ago, as i have for several years, even after moving to downtown chicago and everything went great until i used a voucher for the car wash. i actually purchased a premium wash and intended on giving the free one i was given with my oil change to my brother who lives down the street. Anyway, i pulled up to the entry way and noticed that something was off...my car was not getting hosed down like it always was in previous times by the entry way attendant, and the car in front of me was going through the wash but not getting washed. I asked the employee at the entry way if everything was okay...he said "yes just go on through" so i did and sure enough all i got was a couple of splashes of water and soap, my car was not at all washed, the dryers were not working...technically, most of the car wash was not working, the brushes weren't either. so i pulled out of the wash and walked inside to ask what was going on, and was given another voucher for a free wash, so i went through it again. at this point, several other cars were not getting washed but for some reasons, they kept letting people go on through. i was in line a second time, my car wet with water and soap. i approach the entry way and notice the same situation, the car in front of me, inside the station, is not getting washed. i ask the guy several times "IS THIS WORKING NOW????" he ensured me that it does, obviously lying to my face and not knowing what the hell he was talking about. i had no where else to go but forward so i went through the wimpy limpy wash again, and this time i was upset. after the wash, i went to speak to a manager who obviously was not manager material given how he handled the situation. I was upset, and rightfully so since at this point i've wasted nearly an hour there. i explained to him the situation and his response i could not believe. he had the tenacity to say "well what do you want me to do about it?" and "i don't know what to tell you" which was apparently the extent of his vocabulary because he handed me another ticket which i threw back at him and left the facility. Friendly and helpful staff. I am usually in and out quickly for an oil change and I don't feel any up-sell pressure. The car wash is great and free after an oil change. They recently repaved the parking lot, so no more pot holes. My only complaint would be that they don't have the attendant power wash at the beginning of the wash as before which really helped get the back of my car cleaner than it is now without the initial spray. Prices are typical and they have unlimited washes per month packages for washes if you are looking for a deal and like your car washed frequently. read more

I have the monthly pass and for $22 bucks you really cant beat it. I go almost daily and each and every time there is always a guy who sprays my car down. The wash does a great job. The only thing I'm confused about is how do I get my car wiped down at the end? Anytime I have pulled up to the guys who dry, they look at me like I should not be in their lane. read more

What happened to Domark's? Normally paid $8 for a wash with spray wax and tire shine. Visited on 12/9 and saw name was changed to True Blue. Paid new price of $10 with no spray wax or tire shine. The staff were more than helpful, went in for a oil change and check my rear lights. Ended up having most of my back lights out and instead of charging my extra for each light told me to go to the parts store because it would be cheaper and bring the lights back and they would put them in at no cost. As someone who knows nothing about cars, I get worried going to get things done to my car for fear of getting ripped off, but they were so helpful and didn't make me feel bad for not knowing anything. This location was 1,000 time better under previous ownership. The washes do not get the vehicles as clean and they cost more. It seems like they had to raise the prices so they can have four more people standing at the entrance of the wash doing nothing and have fewer people detailing after the wash. I feel sorry for the crew from the original owners that still work there as their tips have to be half as much as they were before. To give you an idea as the type of changer has gone through it use to be there was always a line on a nice day now when it is nice out the lie is two cars also it seems like you move through the wash after as well. read more

Must have new owners, have been going to this car wash for over 10 years it was always great, they had a nice gentleman that sprayed down your car as u entered the wash and for $3 u got the basic wash. Now they charge $6 for the basic wash and no nice gentleman spraying your car:( So basically double the price for less service very disappointing. read more

Price has doubled under this new owner. Tried getting the basic car wash but got into a lane that appeared to be having card reader issues based on the car ahead of me. The woman in front of me then backed up to try at the second reader. She was having the same issues again. I figured her card must be the problem so I pulled into the lane she left. Couldn't get my card to work either. Called for assistance and the guy simply took my card and tried swiping just as I had done several times already. I tried a second card with the same results. Then worker just walked away. I waited for a little while and realized he wasn't coming back. Now I was stuck with a row of cars behind me with no help from the worker to get me out. Horrible customer service!!! As I'm writing this I'm seeing the same scenario play out over and over again with other customers. How about fixing your card readers or putting up a sign saying the card readers don't work? Just bad business to let a known problem continue.
