Being new to the game, we picked up a hand held saw instead of what we really needed, which was a walk-behind saw. I called Alan, and he informed me that there would be a $25 fee for exchanging the saws. When he heard me out and found out I was an amateur and first time customer, he offered to exchange the equipment gratis, since we hadn't used it for an hour. The whole process was professional, friendly, clear, and reasonably priced. I'd rent from Poe's again for sure.

Frye's tool rental let me come in just at closing time to rent a chainsaw. The gentleman found the best tool, demonstrated the use and loaded it along with fuel on my car. To make the experience even better, because I returned it by 8:30 am this morning I was only charged a 4 hour rental. I will definitely rent tools from Frye's Took Rental again.

After an…read moreexhaustive search aimed at locating a skilled millworker/artisan to assist me with two woodworking projects I desperately needed help with, I discovered Pros and Tools. One project was a large desk that needed to be scaled down and reconfigured into a console table; the other project was a desk with a broken leg required to be reattached. After a search of the internet and many "we can't help you" or unreturned calls, I located Tomas and Pros and Tools. Tomas asked that I send photos of the projects so that he could assess. Tomas was responsive, attentive and thorough and quickly paired me with Israel, one of the artisans with whom he contracts. Israel reached out quickly, stopped by my place and took careful measurements and followed up shortly thereafter to arrange pickup of the desks. Long story short, I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Both desks look amazing and have far exceeded my expectations. I am in awe of the quality of workmanship and am looking forward to working on other projects with Pros and Tools. Thank you Tomas and Israel for making life a whole lot easier and for transforming these great pieces. Highly recommended!

Few days later I receive an unauthorized charge for $1689 and then another for $1210. I let them know I needed to be credited back weeks ago as I was wrongly charged for someone else's orders and they have made zero effort to let me know what's going on. They say they don't save your credit card info but thats a lie. It's been over a month since I let them know what happened and they have offered zero help in returning funds to my credit card. I would advise everyone to shop elsewhere unless they want to live the nightmare I have by using them. 99% percent of companies out there would've easily seen they've charged my card in error twice instead other party who requested their service and would've credited back my card weeks ago. Its incredible that this company operates the way it does, horrible customer service.

Now for the not so good- prices are a bit high for a tool rental place and they are a well oiled machine, friendliness is not a skill set here but what did you expect- this place has evidently made it big enough that they don't have to fight for every dollar like a smaller tool rental. After being a loyal customer to Ralph for over three years he sold me an electric forklift with the…read morepromise that it had a new and good battery. It turns out the battery was bad. The unit had a sealed industrial battery. He offered me two options 1. Pay half of the past towing fee and he will install a regular lead acid battery pack 2. Waive the towing fee plus he will pay $200 towards the repair of the battery. Since the battery on the forklift was a maintenance free, sealed battery I wanted that same type instead of the lead acid battery he offered to install. I even accepted to pay the difference between the two types. This is where he started playing games. On a different occasion he quoted $60 difference per battery between the two types. This time he demanded $124 per battery. The forklift takes 4 batteries so the difference was quite a bit. When I asked him to honor the original price difference he refused and became offended. he said he does not want my business. Since he was not going to do battery replacement anymore I requested that he pays the $200 for the repair of the battery like he promised. Of course he backed out. The sad part is that all of this is in writing,clearly seen in the email correspondence and, he still refuses to fulfill his word. What a shame. To be honest I was quite shocked when he backed out from his original promise to waive the past towing plus compensating $200 towards the repair of the battery. I did not expect he would go that low. Bottom line is he lied and broke his promises. Not a trustworthy person. I don't recommend you buy anything from him or get his service.

So... We are in the middle of moving our business and our recently repaired electric forklift…read morestarted leaking Hydraulic fuel... The company that did the original repair, RUSH Forklifts, came out and promised to order the part 3 weeks ago... And then they disappeared..... Phone calls and emails went unanswered... So here we are, the weekend of the move coming up and no way to move our inventory and furnishings.... Well, thanks to Ralph from ACTION Forklifts we are happy today!!! Came in a couple of days ago and gave us a FREE estimate which still painfully we approved only yesterday afternoon (as with RUSH it would have been a warranty repair)... His technician was here by 10AM and did the work in half the estimated time... Ralph discounted our bill accordingly and that is why we are letting everyone know!!! THANK YOU RALPH!!!!
