FQR came as a highly regarded referral from close friends who also used FQR to install their new roof within the last 2 years. German Duarte the Founder & President and Deborah Haase the Office Administrator were outstanding throughout the entire process. German and Deborah were always accessible and very responsive to all of my questions and concerns via email, text and telephone. I went with the Boral Barcelona 900 tiles (Chestnut Burnt color) and CertainTeed Flintlastic SA CAP Commercial underlayment. FQR is fully licensed, insured and provides a 10-year workmanship warranty against leaks on sloped roofs. From start to finish, FQR took under 2 weeks to complete my job which included previous roof tear off, underlayment and new tile installation and township inspections. The FQR crew was on-time starting no later than 8am and finishing around 6pm each and everyday on my project until it was completed. They did an excellent job of cleaning up my and my neighbor's property at the conclusion of their work each day. German and FQR are very transparent, no hidden charges and extremely communicative if job must be postponed for a day or 2 due to rainy weather. The entire FQR team deserves a 5 star rating. I highly recommend you consider FQR if you are in the market for a new roof for your home!

First let me say what a pleasure it was working with Florida Quality Roofing. Everyone from the…read moreowner of the company to the office staff and the hard working guys out in the field is what makes FQR one of the very best in South Florida. We chose Florida Quality Roofing wisely and carefully after interviewing more than 5 companies and could not have asked for a better experience than we received from them. Most companies will send a salesman out to talk to you but with FQR the OWNER comes out! German (the owner ) is far from a high powered salesman, he's about as mellow as one can get!! I like that, I don't like being pressured. He discussed the different types of metal roofs that were available and what he recommended and what he didn't. We formulated a plan and within a week German provided the cost and said our roofing material was available. We went with the plan and a month later we had a beautiful brand new roof. I learned a lot about metal roofs. They are labor intensive, much more complicated than asphalt shingle roofs. You really need a skilled crew of workers to install a metal roof correctly. Florida Quality Roofing has been around for a very long time, rare for roofing companies, they know what they're doing. I would hire them for any kind of roof.

I interviewed and…read morereceived estimates from various concrete companies for our building's restoration and I decided to used A-Plus Concrete at The Barclay building for the following reasons: 1- I felt very comfortable and at ease with their representatives ( Gerry and Chris) we worked well together and we constantly communicated during the whole process. 2- I also had the pleasure to deal with their president Santiago Sanchez, who worked with us during the restoration as we found issues with our old building. Mr Sanchez was very helpful and understood our needs and concerns. 3- The crew members were very professional and knowledgeable as we work together with the engineers to solve our building issues. In all of my years, I have dealt with many contractors in other projects and would say that A-Plus concrete was one of the top 10 companies I had the pleasure to work with. I will not only recommend them but will consider using them again in future projects. Thank you. Rollie Gonzalez

Let me preface this by saying that I truly loathe having to write a negative review. But after my…read morerecent conversation with Mike with A+ Concrete in Margate, I have accepted that the Urotile driveway that Mike did and the problems that surfaced a year later is just a lost cause In short, Mike installed a Urotile driveway/walkway in late 2018. Urotile is a concrete overlay and very popular with pools and driveways. According to the manufacturer of the product that Mike used, Urotile adds beauty to a pool or driveway and it is "more durable than concrete" When A+ Concrete completed the Urotile driveway and walkway, it truly looked spectacular. It was stunning and certainly one of the best decisions I ever made for my property. But about 12-14 months later, I began to see Microcracks in my driveway. I thought it was from an older oak tree that was removed and was willing to accept it. But I soon saw similar microcracks were visible in my walkway. I knew then there was a problem Mike eventually came out to look at my driveway (in late 2020) At first, Mike was unsure as to what was happening and said he would have to discuss it with the manufacturer (which was Advanced surfaces in Margate, FL.) Months elapsed and no response from Mike. In all fairness to Mike, COVID was likely an issue in getting out to address the problem. But I myself decided to drive down to ADVANCED Surfaces. Since Mike told me he used their Primary product but he used a different resin, I bought this up in a very long conversation I had with Denise at Advanced Surfaces. Denise acknowledged Mike, confirming he is one of her customers and uses her product for Urotiling driveways, pool decks etc. But there was not much she could do and referred me back to him. I emailed Mike about my conversation with Denise from Advanced surfaces. A Few weeks later Mike said he would meet with me about the matter on March 4 with an Advanced surfaces rep. But mike called me at our meeting time and said the rep cancelled. Mike then said that he didn't think the rep was going to be able to say anything different - which Mike now elaborated to say that my problem is known as "Concrete Crazing". My research on Crazing shows "Crazing in concrete usually occurs because of "wrong construction practices" Crazing also occurs after a concrete pour, in other words a recent concrete application . My concrete is 22 years old. The only recent application was the URO tile overlay. In addition, some of the white grout has come off (I will add pics). Mike said he would fix that, although, the grout is the least of my issues with this driveway. But sooner or later, that white grout will need to be fixed. I agree with other reviews that I have seen about A+ Concrete, and think Mike and Lori are good people. They were nice to work with. I think they are honest people. And I also try to be fair. But I dont know how else I should react after spending $5400 for a driveway. I've been very patient through all of this. Im certainly no expert with Urotile or concrete but there is a 14th century adage known as "Occam's razor" which essentially states that when trying to figure out a problem (or in my case, a cause to a problem) "The simplest answer tends to be the correct one". I think something went wrong during the Urotile process or curing and that has resulted in these unsightly micro cracks (they are also occurring in my walkway as well). One other fact: The owner behind me also has a Urotile driveway which was done in 2015. She does not have my problem. Being I work in academia for over 20 years, I think its important to educate and share info with others. So You may email me at this alternative email if you want more details about my Urotile issue - or even if you wish to come look at it for yourself : hockeyaddict4@yahoo.com. . If A+ Concrete decides to make this right, I will , by all means modify this review. Otherwise, I have no choice but to create reviews with Google, yelp and other sources. Im not trying to hurt anyone. But I paid $5500 for the driveway. It should last for many years, assuming I clean and take care of it UPDATE March 11, 2021. Mike came out today to speak with me and he acknowledges there is an issue (as it has worsened a bit) and he said he will try to work towards a solution

They sent me to their provider to see the tile choice I had and I chose one that I was expecting to cost a lot (pure white). It was a difficult job - all flat, but consisting of eight different mini-roofs. On Thanksgiving weekend, I heard water coming into my house. When I walked into the living room I saw the ceiling had broken through and water was pouring in, onto the furniture and flooding the floor. I called both of the owners and within less than an hour, Eli was at my house and on the roof. It turned out it was not the roof, but the original drains that had been poorly designed by the architect. Eli temporarily stopped the water, called one of his crew members to come clean up the mess in the living room, and another crew member to try to clear the drain. When the drain couldn't be cleared, both Eli and Igal personally came back at 7 am the next morning to attempt once more to clear the drain. When they still couldn't, they closed the drain and, with a large crew and several trucks came back again to create a new drainage system. Legally, this was not their responsibility. However, they went out of their way to solve my problem and make me happy. Again, this was on a holiday weekend. I don't know what other company would respond in this way. I HIGHLY recommend them. I would strongly advise against doing business with this company…read more From the beginning, there was a complete lack of accountability in delivering what was clearly outlined in our contract. The work itself was unacceptable -- the stucco finishing was so poorly done that we had to hire another company to fix and complete it. We were also explicitly told that our recently installed gutter guards would be carefully removed and saved. Instead, they were thrown out, and the company refused to take any responsibility or replace them. Now, six months after the project was completed, we are dealing with water leaks caused by a faulty roof replacement. Rather than honoring their warranty and addressing the issue, the owner continues to delay by repeatedly asking for photos and proof -- despite already sending people to inspect the problem in person. Communication throughout the process was extremely frustrating. The owner, Eugene, consistently relied on inaccurate information from his workers instead of listening to us directly, which led to constant disputes and unnecessary stress. It became clear he had no intention of being personally involved or resolving the issues. Overall, this experience has been costly, time-consuming, and incredibly disappointing. Between the broken promises, poor workmanship, and lack of follow-through, I cannot recommend this company under any circumstances. Eugene refused to own up to anything in our original contract, and after poor work, turned this entire experience into a problem that costed us another 10K.
