Second day planning and forming the slabs. Third day 4 concrete cement trucks with a crew of 11 workers where working like ants ! The trucks came in one after the other until was done! I would give this company 0 stars if I could. Ariel (owner) and his crew did a horrendous job with…read moreour concrete project and are a nightmare to work with. Not only did it take 1 year to complete this project (permit delays due to incomplete paperwork and no-shows by A&A Concrete Solutions), but it was also done poorly. Ariel is very quick to collect deposits and will smile in your face and say the right things. But will give you the runaround, odd excuses, or flat out ignore your calls/messages when there is an issue. There are DOZENS of cracks 2 months after the concrete was poured, edges were left unfinished, & the sealant was applied poorly and uneven (see picture). Ariel agreed that the work was done improperly and he would have it fixed. In addition, he made decisions at his own discretion and did not install the drain we discussed. Now there are pools of water every time it rains. When we pointed this out to him he said in order to fix it we would have to tear up the concrete completely and start all over. It was clear he was not at all involved with the project nor supervised his employees. We have spent the past 3 months trying to coordinate with Ariel to fix the work and the items we discussed. Even after agreeing on dates and times to fix the work Ariel and his crew either wouldn't show up or would show up a different day and time where we couldn't supervise or sign off on the incomplete items. Until this day we have been trying to contact them and they have ignored our calls and text messages. Due to their lack of response it looks like we will need to hire another company to fix A&A Concrete Solutions. We are in the process of submitting a complaint to the DBPR and discussing the best next steps with an attorney. We will not be going away until this is resolved. If you have been affected by this company negatively I urge you to share your experiences on all platforms (Yelp, google, Facebook). Do yourself a favor and hire someone else. This company will waste your time, energy, and money.

First off let me say that this review does not reflect any work by Juan or Modern Concrete. This…read morereview is solely based on communication or lack thereof. Had Modern Concrete (MC) come out a few months back to get an idea of what it would cost to lay a slab. They came out and gave the quote accordingly. Fast forward to Nov/Dec. had them come back out to update the quote based off of some changes. That's where the waiting started. After about a week I spoke to Juan and he advised that my quote was first to be completed and get back to me. Well 2 months later, multiple phone calls and text messages and zero answer. I thought maybe something was wrong, but a friend reached out to him, left a message and he quickly responded. What happened?....beats me, I'd love to know. In fact if they are reading this, please reach out or message here to let me know what happened. There was no bad business, no malice and yet the company went dark. Are they like other companies that feel the need to not care cause they have so much business for low?...maybe. Either way, I'd be wary of that fact and would probably look elsewhere.
