Sure enough they came in the morning and worked tirelessly all day and completed all four jobs, including smoothing a cement wall, changing an area of drywall, changing baseboards, painting, changed the fascia and reinstalling an outlet related to patching a hole in an exterior wall. We are completely blown away with the attention to detail and the quality of work. PLUS they cleaned up the whole mess and left the leftover supplies. We are so happy. We immediately asked them if they were available to do more smaller jobs around the house and they were nice enough to do a couple of them that same day for a very fair price. Plus they were just nice and easy to communicate with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat without reservation. They are worth every penny. We were extraordinarily careful in making our decision, making sure that everything was laid out well. We finally signed a contract with them in late January 2020. We gave them a 20% down payment on a very large job to completely renovate two bathrooms and do the piping under our house. Today is exactly 9 months later, and nothing has even started. The company has dissolved, they took $13,000 from us and assigned the contract to a new company, and they promise to do the work for the remaining amount. The raw, unadulterated incompetence of these two business partners cannot be overemphasized. They will smile and promise you the moon, but nothing got done beyond computer drawings provided as PDFs. We had three project managers, as each one quit or got fired. The office staff similarly will smile and tell stories, but they are equally incompetent. The two principles have dissolved their business, but I expect they will start a new company or two, and hopefully this review will reach someone who will be warned away. Yes, a pandemic intervened, and we were patient as they sorted out their problems, but to have no final engineering drawings, no permits, no nothing 9 months after signing is not only unacceptable, it is a felony under Florida Law. I had no desire to ruin anyone's life in that way...but a Kesi and Kim should maybe run a sandwich shop or something...not a construction company.
