Shane and his entire team at Restoration Construction were absolutely a blessing. My wife and I just recently welcomed our new son into the world when we noticed some some odd staining on our ceiling. Some of the staining looked pretty bad and called RC immediately based on the referral by a few friends on Facebook. Shane came out to our house with a mold expert and they determined in a day or so that it was on fact black mold. We uncovered a TON of black mold in our ceiling and weren't taking any chances with a newborn being exposed to that. Shane assisted us with getting out of the property and they quickly began remediating the mold areas. His team was meticulous with everything they did and were all very professional and genuinely concerned. After some further digging, they realized that the issue stemmed from faulty AC ductwork so he helped us file an insurance claim from start to finish. With a new baby, money was tight and thanks to Shane, I was able to get the work covered by my insurance policy. After remediating the mold and ripping out our ceiling and walls where the damage was, his construction crew showed up and in 3 days had my house 100X better than it was when I bought the house 10 years ago. I can't say enough great stuff about this firm and would recommend them time and time again. Integrity is a dying trait in South Florida, especially in that industry. Shane never over-promised and set my expectations up from the second we met. I hate when companies lie about how fast they can do a job just to get the job. That definitely wasn't the case and I admire that. Even if you aren't sure if you have a big issue, call these guys and have them give you some straight talk. We cannot say enough positive things to express how much we would recommend Shane and his entire crew to handle your home and all of your most valued possessions! We thought we had black mold in the master bathroom shower and they did such a thorough job in inspecting our home they found the mold had spread elsewhere in the house. He was able to get the entire air conditioning system cleaned out, remediate major sections of the house - kitchen, bedroom, bathroom to remove the mold and make sure we had healthy clean air to breath! After his crew had to tear out the flooring, cabinets, tile, - all while moving the furniture and keeping the house at a level of cleanliness we could live with, he then reconstructed the house to a position that was one thousand times better then when he first came to inspect it. Brad came and did all of the work with our insurance inspector and they took care of all of the filing for claims with insurance to keep our stress level down to a minimum. At a time where you are displaced from your day to day routine and having to live in your home while work is being done they were considerate at all times of making us comfortable and keeping us informed of what was happening, timelines and working around our work schedules to keep the inconvenience to a minimum. It is rare in this day and age you find a company with this type of work ethic that say what they mean and do what they say they are going to do. You don't have to worry they won't show up when they say they will or that they will complete the work when they tell you. The quality of their work product is beyond reproach. 3 weeks ago, I was up to my ankles in water throughout the house that I had just finished renovating and didn't have a clue what to do about it. Fortunately, a man who was going to install tile arrived and took one look at the damage and said: "You need to call Shane Ganotta at Restoration Construction and he will be able to help you. I have seen his work and it is excellent." I didn't hesitate as I knew the quality of the tile installer's work was excellent. Shane Ganotta was at my house that day (and that was 2 days after Hurricane Irma had taken a swath through Boca Raton, so I knew how busy he was). Shane took control immediately and arranged to have approximately 30 large water remediation machiines installed to bring down water level as quickly as possible. After the machines did their jobs over a few days, many trucks - about 8 - showed up one morning all within a 10 minute timeframe. Out of those trucks came several men who immediately began their respective assignments to clean the structure and remove all damaged goods and materials. It is a 2 story structure and the damage to the property from a severed second story pipe running for about 24 hours was extensive. The only positive time for me in this disaster was watching the crew atttack the situation. It was like watching a fine Swiss watch movement. I will never forget watching the arrlval, the tremendous effort at removal of damaged materials, and the departure all in harmony. And this wentt on for a few days. Highly recommend!!! I was referred to Shane when I had a leak in my kitchen. We made an appointment and he was at my home on time (first star!!) and after a thorough inspection found the source of the leak and noticed mold. He had the source of the leak repaired and then immediately sent in crews to remediate the mold and make sure that my home was safe. There was damage to my cabinets, floors and walls. I was leary of dealing with the insurance company as I have heard many horror stories but Shane was able to handle it all. Painters came in and they were wonderful. Due to a broken pipe underneath our bath tub that caused flooding in our 2nd floor master bedroom and all the way down to our kitchen the water damage destroyed the first floor ceiling, the kitchen cabinets, and drywalls all across our house ! Recently, we returned to our beach front condo after months up north. Unfortunately, a water supply line under our kitchen sink had failed at some point during our time away, and water was pooling on the floor, migrating into other rooms. Mold was obviously growing and our lower wood cabinet doors had already warped from the moisture, and mold was already growing along the kitchen baseboard. We were referred to Restoration Construction by a friend and called immediately. Shane arrived the next day, explained the remediation process in detail and we were convinced his company was the right one for the jog. His people arrived the next day and by the end of it, the remediation process was well under way, the mold growth stopped, contained with the affected area completely covered. After the air scrubbers did their job over the next few days, they retested for mold and our condo passed with no problem as our certificate documents. We had new flooring, new paint, new everything, and then a flood. Worst day of my life until I called Shane and his guys at restoration construction. I cannot even explain how easy, quick, and amazing these guys were. The work was done 10 times better than what we previously had done and literally 10 times faster. First thing first, if you need restoration call Shane at Restoration Construction. We had water intrusion in our condo. We called Shane on a recommendation from one of our neighbors. We are so glad we met up with Shane. He is a very professional man and very easy to talk to. He was very genuine and caring about our needs to repair our condo. We hired his company and work started immediately. The teardown of water and mold remediation was very good and the condo was sealed off to contain the mold. The repairs went well and I was very pleased where the sheetrock was removed and replaced, that I could not even tell where the repairs were made. They also cleaned the HVAC unit. Highly recommend Shane and his crew. We suffered a house flood due to a water break. It was a disaster. We also have a large dog and pet owners would know how stressful that can be on your pet in addition to the owners.
