I went on line to order her some flowers the day before Mother's day, every single place was booked and the earliest they could deliver was Monday May 11th, many of them were even later than that. Placed my order with Kafer's they had a Mother's Day Special that I chose and the flowers were delivered that same day!! I was shocked, my Mom called me so excited and the flowers were beautiful. This past Saturday (Nov 1) I bought a pair of lamps. When I got home, the lampshades were of noticeable differences in color. This was made more obvious by the addition of the light bulb, of course. The lamps were also too large for the tables I have, so I wanted to just return them. I was unaware that they were non-returnable (per my receipt which was still in the envelope). I understand having a policy like that to avoid people "sampling" items to see if they match or not. However, I experienced what is perhaps the worst mistreatment I have ever encountered at a store. The man who said he was the manager, Sam, was abusive, rude, dismissive and condescending. At first, he was going to charge a restocking fee of 20%, but when I returned from my car with the second lamp, he decided he was sticking to the policy of not returning them since it was clearly stated on my receipt. When I explained the situation about the difference in colors, his comment was "the lamps are the same color as they were yesterday when you bought them". At this point, I just felt dismissed and my voice was not being heard. I put the lampshades on the table and asked him to take a look. (At this point, he hadn't even looked at them). By now I was angry, not because I couldn't return the lamps, but because I was being treated so poorly. He said I slammed them so hard that I needed to "get out of his store". I asked if I could at least get the matching shade and he said no, that I needed to leave his store. I am still upset today because of how I was treated. I've been a good customer at that store, but after this awful treatment, I won't ever be going back.

There's cookies and candy in dishes on a few counters around the store for customers and she told me "It's so they don't get hungry and leave" which I gotta admit is SMART business..take notes. This place is extremely impressive, very well organized, beautiful, and giant. It didn't have that antique store smell either, it was actually really pleasant. You can just feel the history walking around and looking at items in this store. It's not anything from my era, but it's really fascinating and there were a lot of things I wanted to buy and use for home decor. Prices really aren't that bad! You could leave spending a few dollars, to a few hundred depending on what your tastes are. If you're searching for some vintage nostalgia, then check this place out. You'll be impressed

It was disrespectful to claim it was out of their control and not at least be upfront about the situation. Also, the dressing room closes at 8pm despite the store being open until 9pm. I thought we wouldn't be in very long because it didn't look like so big of a place. Inside it's not huge, but we were in there close to an hour. The shop is clean, well-lit, and, most importantly, well-curated. I tried on some hats and looked at brooches. My friend tried on four outfits and bought three. The owner, Toni, made my friend a good deal on the bundle. Toni goes here and there, including to estate sales all over the area, to pick out great finds for her shop. I left with a pillbox hat and two brooches. I was going to give the brooches to my mother, but I'm wearing one on my blouse and the other is on my hat, so... we'll see whether they actually make it to my mom. Toni even threw in one brooch for free. Oh, and that pillbox hat? It was like new. Tags still attached, and the velvet was so soft. I'll definitely stop by next time I am in Mansfield, and I wouldn't be surprised if my friend comes by regularly.
