My husband and I contacted Mid-Ohio Power Wash and Paint to give us a quote. Arthur came out, gave…read moreus a quote and we accepted it. Upon giving him a down payment to start the job he told us he would power wash then paint siding and trim. He informed us he would start the job on July 5, 2016. He then called and said that he was finishing up some small jobs and would be there on the 15 of July. He informed us the job should take one week. We were out of town and informed us the job would be finished before our return. My husband came home to find our house painted the wrong color. From taupe to baby blue. We matched the sample to our current paint! Not the color we selected! Arthur told my husband he would fix it. He Asked for more money to go get the correct paint. My husband even went and bought the paint we wanted used from Sherwin-Williams. He did not continue with the grade of paint we selected. The repaint has been sloppy to say the least. After calling Arthur to get a date when house would be fixed and completed, he made excuses and lied and then hung up on me. My husband called to inform him he was fired. Arthur has not returned a call. Unprofessional, sloppy, his crew did not know what they were doing. He lied repeatedly to us. Paint was spilled on Our metal roof. Paint splatters on stone porch. What was corrected you can see the blue through new paint, We would NOT recommend this company. I would not give this business any stars.

It's too bad when a company can't see past it's own issues to make things right…read more We recently had the carpeting replaced in our house while we were on vacation. I had gone into the store, asked for the best carpet, didn't haggle just paid the deposit and went on my vacation. After vacation, I stopped in to their shop to pay the balance only to find they were trying to charge me in excess of $100 that was not in our contract for some trumped up add-on.Since I had a contract , I of course did not fall for it. When we came home , the carpet was installed but there were 2 issues. The wall in the master bedroom had been damaged and one of the doors on a custom built cabinet had been damaged in 2 places and someone had "glued the shards" back on to the door in a failed attempt to make it look good. I contacted the owner "Wes" and after his investigation, the installers denied doing any damage and that was that. Wes asked me what I was looking for and I replied I wanted the damage repaired (approx. $100). He started in on how they had "already credited me the trumped up charge and that should be that". It is too bad that a company that received a few thousand dollars for 2 rooms of carpet will allow a customer to leave dissatisfied over such a small amount of money for damage they caused. I think they are a dishonest ,shady company and should be avoided if you are looking for good work and any type of customer service.

Jack kept in touch every single day with phone calls and photo updates, so I always knew exactly where the project stood. That level of communication and transparency is rare and so appreciated. They not only met their promised timeline but actually finished with results that far exceeded my expectations. The floors look absolutely stunning--smooth, even, and brought back to life better than I imagined possible. Jack and Brian clearly take great pride in their work, and it shows in every detail. If you're looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and professional team to refinish your floors, look no further than JC's Floor Sanding and Refinishing. I would give them ten stars if I could!

We recently bought a house in Bellville that had phenomenal wood flooring. Actually, pretty…read morestunning would fit the description nicely. The previous owners had dogs, which naturally means scratches and gouges. We thought it would be a great idea to get them sanded and refinished before moving in furniture. I tried calling 6 companies in the Mansfield, Mt. Vernon, Columbus area. None of them would answer the phone or return the call. Through a family friend, we obtained the name and number for JC's Floor Sanding and Refinishing. We gave them a call, on a weekend, and Jack answered the phone. He suggested we go look at the project, which we did the same day! Jack provided a price that we thought was extremely competitive (comparing it to other sanding/refinishing plus repair projects in our past). A week later, JC's began the project. Here is the really cool part. Daily, we received updates from Jack and the crew. We didn't ask for them, they just provided them. So far, we're experiencing customer service at it's best! When is the last time your contractor updated you daily without you asking or demanding it? Now you see my point!! About a week and a half after the project started, they were finished. This encompassed the entire top floor of the house, which is probably close to 1,500 sq. feet. The finished project looks great and we're extremely pleased with the craftsmanship, the price, and the customer service. To top all of this off, Jack had completed the sanding and coating of the floors on the original installation 15 years prior! Who would ever think that?!?! When he finished, the floors as wonderful as his completed project pictures from 15 years earlier. Now the big question - Would we hire them again or recommend? ABSOLUTELY!! JC's is a contracting company that understands how to do their work (I know that sounds weird...but...), understands customer service, and actually will answer the phone when you call. How can you go wrong?
