For some reason all their cosmetics employees are either immature or discriminating against a specific group of people just because they seem to have been given the authority to do so. Just a background on my mother which she shouldn't have to explain to some sales person however she still had to - she's been diagnosed with depression and asthma for many years now so at this store some of her actions included taking pictures of products(which literally everyone's does in some way but hers was acting out on her depression), spending extra time in the store to kill time (again, due to being depressed), pulling her mask down occasionally to catch her breath or to take a drink due to asthma & diabetes like the employees at the store don't pull their mask down to take a drink. The cosmetics person Connie yelled at her several times and FOLLOWED her throughout the ENTIRE store for the time she was there when she shouldn't even be leaving the boutique department and can easily ask other employees to keep an eye on my mom if she's that much of a threat to the store lol. She embarrassed my mom several times looking down on her and making it look like she was stealing or breaking huge rules around the store when no other employee thought otherwise. Anytime she'd catch my mom looking at a product for too long she'd come up to her and ask why and then one day came when my mom started explaining to her about her depression and she told my mom that's she's BANNED from the store not to mention anytime she'd say something to my mom, my mom would always listen to her. She's so confident in her decision in openly insulting and discriminating a disabled person from a minority group that she provided my mom with a card of the store saying to call and confirm with store manager. Good to know that the store manager encourages this behaviour from his employees. It has come to the point where I'd like the store to show us the video recordings of my mom doing anything wrong in the store if she's going to be banned from the store because I will not be staying silent regarding this. She also mentioned she enjoys my Google review, which meant a lot to me. The friendly security guard, clean store, good stock, and easy parking make every visit smooth. When the Boardwalk Pharmacy Canada Post shut down, our local PO became this Cromdale location -- a slightly longer walk, not ideal in bad weather, but transit #5 goes right by. The area has FreshCo across the road, plus KFC, CIBC, Shell Gas Station, and more. Parking here is easy peasy, with one entrance only due to the high risk nature of the #YEG #Alberta Avenue area.

I got on the long line for the lone cashier and was rung up by that individual before anyone ever showed up to help with the self checkout. She's also very friendly. The ladies at the post office were friendly and I've interacted with them both before and they've always been happy and helpful. I was told that they would not accept them unless I emptied out each vial for them. Keep in mind that these were their vials, with their labels. I declined to spend an hour accommodating them, and ended up taking the bag to The Medicine Shoppe in Leduc. They accepted the medications with no fuss while offering condolences, even though they were not from their store. I highly recommend The Medicine Shoppe over this Shoppers location in particular.
