Have stopped in at least a dozen times now to this Rexall location and been surprised that they…read moredon't ever seem to be busy. Like Shoppers or any other small drugstore, you need to know your price points because it's easy to pay $1-$3 more here for comparable items at Superstore or Walmart. They do run great sales and each Rexall has their own markdown/clearance stickers they apply to products that can really amount to a significant savings. Just be sure to make sure they are taking off at the cash wrap so you get your savings. Clearance markdown stickers are red and white and can be found on the aisles but mostly on the end caps towards the outside walls of the store. Most recent scores here = NHL Oilers themed stuff at 75% of, candy for the kiddos for Valentine's Week at about 75% off, and protein bars at about 50% off (Granted this works out to the normal Costco price but it allowed me to try some more unsual flavours in smaller boxes at less than $1.50 a bar). Also, a shimmery EOS lip balm for $3 marked down from $6.99. Rexall offers AirMiles with purchases and they often run promotions on weekends. Keep an eye out on the weekly flyer or sign up for their email notification. See you soon Rexall, see you soon!

Have stopped in twice to the new Rexall in St Albert, and both times found I was the only customer…read morein the store! The first time, I actually thought it was closed because there were no cars in the parking lot, although the cashier assured me it would be filled with Earl's customers cars by lunchtime - well, well, isn't that lucky for Earls? :-D The store feels quite spacious, perhaps because of no one else there, but it's clean and well lit and very tidy. I went with the intent of comparing several items with Shoppers Drug and Target, both in price and width of brands. On each item, Rexall was 15-25% more expensive, which doesn't encourage me to drop by just to browse. I did find the employees friendly and helpful, but again I had no competition for their attention. Twice I picked up an item marked on sale, but the computer rang it up at full price and the cashier didn't know the difference, so caveat emptor when you check out. I'm not sure what to think about this store. It's in a central location, across from the mall, plenty of parking, flyers sent weekly to each resident in town, bright attractive building, well-established name and reputation, yet it feels abandoned. And because of their price points, unlikely to get my steady business as well. For me, it's just not a likely competitor for Shoppers or London (or Target, Walmart, etc).

My favorite aspect about this store is their full service postal outlet. Occasionally the lines for…read morethe postal outlet get rather long which is less than fun, but generally I like just how full service this aspect of their store is. The rest of this Rexall Location is pretty predictable and resembles most others. Staff here are varied in their attitudes. I miss the more regular staff that they had several years ago: most of the current staff seem tired and/or bored at work. That said, long lines non-withstanding, this location is conveniently located and has reasonably long hours which is nice to see. Parking is limited I am told by friends who drive, but this location is very transit accessible so that's good to see.

I have this weird love for drugstores so it pains me a little bit to do this. Like, until Target…read moregets to Canada, drugstores will continue to be my crack. I walk in for chapstick, I walk out with chapstick, mascara, a microwave, birthday cards, graduation cards, and almost definitely some on-sale candy. I actually stuck to my word when I walked into Rexall. All I needed to do was go in and pick up and over-the-counter medication. And that was all I did - hooray for me! No extra money spent on silly things, for once. But when I went up to the pharmacy counter and asked for the medication, the pharmacist simply rang me through, threw it in a bag, and told me to have a nice day. No explanation of how it works or side effects or anything like that. She didn't ask me if I'd taken the medication before or if I had allergies to any other medications. It was simply the worst interaction with a pharmacist I've ever had.

I was sent to this pharmacy by True Balance and have never had any issues. All of the staff are…read morelovely people and accommodating, so long as your requests are within reason. I also get my injections done at Salvus as I have a hard time with needles and I would happily recommend this pharmacy to any of family and friends.

I used to go to this pharmacy when my chronic pain doctor suggested I go there as he had a…read morerelationship with them to where they would still give me my regular pain medication even if my doctor hadn't gotten around to sending the new prescription yet and stuff and it used to be owned by this nice fellow named AJ and then it got bought out by the current owner Lisa Divos and she was a nightmare. For example I was going on holidays and had asked if she could ask my doctor for a few extra of pain pills just incase because I wouldn't be able to get any on holidays and she said she would send the request to my doctor (I couldn't get into see him before I left and she sees him many times a day when he's working) for an extra 60 and I told her I didn't need that many and I only wanted 20. I reminded her every week for a little over a month and she said it was all taken care of and then when I call to say I'm coming to get all my medications for my holidays she told me she hadn't heard back from him and he was now on holidays so she couldn't just give me some (even though she sees him multiple times a day when he's in the office) and told me I would have to go see one of the other doctors in that office so I called and they were able to squeeze me in that same day so I called and told Lisa I had that appointment and she said ok great. I get to that appointment and when I get called into the room I can hear Lisa talking quietly to a male voice and shortly after that the doctor came into the room and I tell him exactly what happened and what Lisa said to do and he then tells me that she just came up to him and told him that my pain doctor would not have given me any extra and that I was trying to basically doctor hop and that based on that he couldn't give me any. First of all that's a complete load of crap. My pain doctor would've given me the 20 extra I was requesting if she would've bothered to ask him like she told me she had. And second what she did was all kinds of wrong and completely unprofessional and that's not the first time or last time she played these little games and it wasn't just with me. I ended up finding more people she had done this kind of crap to and I wanted to leave there but because my pain doctor told me to go there because of that relationship they had I felt like I had to stay and I could give you so many other examples of the games and lies and unprofessional things she did but I'd be typing all day. After a few more years of crap I finally left and have been very happy with my new pharmacy. I strongly recommend that you find another pharmacy because no one should have to put up with someone like that and all that crap. It baffles me why she would do stuff like that to people. It is all extremely unprofessional and just all kinds of wrong. There are so many other wonderful pharmacies who will work with someone and won't play those childish games with their customers
