17 yrs I have been with this pharmacy. It's used to be awesome.I have A LOT of meds. A senior staff member left. And a bunch of new ppl hired abt 2 yrs ago. Nothing but probs since. This last year has been brutal. And I am often talking to different ppl or my husband does and repeating regularly instructions. I have 2 health coverages one AISH which is supposed to be secondary. They argue with me tgat it's not put it That way and affected my benefits for dental. AISH Wouldn't cover as they said they are secondary. Then it can't be put through at dentist again on their system so I have to wait for my dental work for 4-6 was while it is snail mailed for approval. I'm in pain.
AISH, pharmacists assoc., and Sure Health all day my AISH coverage is secondary. They have also cost me $200 out of pocket bc AISH doesn't cover but they did not put through on Sure Health.
Further issues this past year:
- when trying to get health coverage issues addressed after explain, etc told to speak with my pull pack person. Who is the one who argues AISH is first and caused the issues. Apparently there is no supervisor for me to speak with. ( other than that Christine is great with my packs always on time) - give over the counter for 2 prescription meds Twice that are also avail over counter. Without a asking no authorization, my husband just picked up. You do not change a prescription. There is a reason that the doc writes a script. Taxes, delivery method of med, etc.
- repeating my name and birthdate over and over in same call. Several times and not bc they couldn't hear. Inexperienced, not listening, not paying attention. ???
- notes not placed on file so have to explain situation multiple times to different ppl.
- owner while addressing my complaints in person was running around, tending to other things, dismissive. I felt undervalued.
There are a couple other little things, but not big just annoying. I used to love my pharmacy and brag how well they took care of me, managed my pills, knew both my husband and myself when they came in. The pharmacists themselves are great. The pharmacy assistants are the issue. I'm currently looking around to decide on a new pharmacy. It's sad. The owner doesn't care, the assistants are either too busy, too new, too something and they give me and my husband too much aggravation. And I hate to say it but a couple just can't get what myself or my husband are trying to explain. Yes... our coverage is more complicated, I have A LOT of meds and small changes not often. It shouldn't be this frustrating.
If you are just going for the occasional med, good. If your previous pharmacy was bad they may be ok for you. If you have moderate changes to your meds, lots of meds or specialists go elsewhere. read more
