She is knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and willing to have a nice conversation while doing our tasting along with another couple beside us. We loved all the wines we tasted, especially the sweet vermouth which was a surprise. We immediately joined the Enthusiast wine club. We took home 3 bottles of wine that day. After our tasting, which took about an hour, we had a reservation for lunch. We were seated inside the restaurant in front of a large window with a great view. We had the Mahi Mahi sandwich and Steak Diane. We also recommend the Tuna Carpacio appetizer and the goat cheese appetizer. We met the owners that day and have seen JW a couple times at our subsequent visits. We have also visited their sister winery, Rayson, and had a lovely time there as well. Nice people and good food enhanced our experience on my husband's birthday. Levi is another outstanding member of their team. We love both wineries and the staff is just fantastic at both!

We also ordered a mahi burger with fries. The fish was overcooked, bland, and not flavorful & the fries were not hot. One member of our group told our server about our fries & she was apologetic & more fries were brought out but they were overcooked. You do get a discount off of the wine if you are a wine club member. You also get an option of bringing guests to the pickup party. I enjoyed the wines that I got the opportunity to taste & the atmosphere of the winery. The service was also good. The food was mediocre.

I mean, we didn't hear one squeak in any floorboard! Talkin' rustic and solid - a wonderful combination. This Inn has impeccable cleanliness and tasteful décor of every room. We came with another couple who are regular guests at B&B's all over the USA. They were decisively impressed. We came for the nearby Yadkin Valley wineries but found simply hanging out at A Mighty Oak to be quite pleasant. We sat on rocking chairs on the 2nd floor covered porch as we read or just talked as the stars emerged in the sky. Then we ascended to the 3rd floor for games (ping-pong, board games, TV sports) and reviewed the substantial bookcase. Of course, a huge facet of any B&B is the proprietor. We all recognize a passion for excellence when we experience one. It's there in spades with Todd, showing up in attentiveness to our needs and a pleasant, playful grace about him and his wife Lisa. And we saw his excellence in that 2nd "B" in B&B. We're talking as close to farm-to-table as it gets since the B&B's rear acreage is home to cows, chicken and plants. And, uh FYI, no smell in the air. Match freshness with culinary excellence and you've got an Rx for memorable breakfasts. I mean, I had never had a Scottish Egg and can't wait to see what Todd has up his sleeve next time! A passion for excellence shows up in every aspect of a business, but when it's a B&B, it can become quite special since they're sort of personal - I mean one actually lives there albeit for one or two nights. She coordinated meetings with her team and other suppliers as we worked through cabinets, flooring, countertops, doors, plumbing fixtures, interior and shingle colors. Everyone I spoke with at Foothills was extremely customer service oriented and knowledgeable. They were recommended as a resource by my contractor. It was great to have access to a great resource that was local to my area. They certainly made the process a pleasant experience.

He was able to answer questions i had even though he quickly knew he wasn't going to be able to sell me anything. They have a nice selection and variety of options to choose from. I will definitely return to shop here again. The store was very hard to find as there wasn't a sign above the door. We drove around the center several times and saw there was a store in the same building as Dollar General that didn't have a sign and that is where they are located.

It's been 4 weeks now since I talked to them last when they said my furniture would be delivered in a week or two. Nothing. My fiance and I are literally waiting for this to be able to move into our new house together. I do understand that a hurricane came through but I also know my furniture should've been delivered way before that and it should be easier to get in contact with someone.
