Slowest service I have ever witnessed. I received a poor product for a high price. They met none of there estimates. I was shocked at the labour costs, and even furthermore when I watched the lack of speed, and professionalism the tech displayed in his appearance and work. When I had to return to get the work tested it became an opportunity for them to bill me again. I stressed twice at the service counter, if they were going to bill me not to spend more than 1 hr. Upon returning they'd billed for 1.5 hours. I just don't understand how such a simple request could be ignored. It is just not worth it, to over charge your customers. This was an opportunity to make right for the first lousy job i had done. Bad business.

Upon returning we reviewed the condition of the trailer and I was told that I would receive my deposit refund. I called Triangle RV around the 27 and some young girl assured me the refund had been placed and that it takes a week or more for it to show up. Having been in business for 49 years I know how it works, and I sensed she was making an excuse and clearly did not know wether my credit card had been refunded. I called back yesterday and was told that the refund had not taken place because there was damage and the amount had not been determined. Clearly the employee I spoke to previously had lied. The lady I called November 3 rd said she would get back to me, and I have again not received any consideration for my concerns. I have put a dispute in with my credit card company. And will never do business with this company again. Although I am a potential purchaser, I would not do business with Triangle RV again.

The first issue resulted in depleting the battery and then all our food spoiling, the second resulted in us losing a day of our 4-day trip (Strathcona park) in order to drive to Campbell River and take it to the local RV dealer (Campbell River RV, who were excellent and replaced the pump which they confirmed was broken because is was wired incorrectly) to get the pump fixed--on the recommendation of the Triangle RV service tech were spoke to on the phone. Upon return, we asked for reimbursement for the repair which we paid out of pocket, and some compensation for the numerous issues with the RV, losing 25% of our trip, and the extra gas to drive around to fix their problem. They refused both. I've never experienced such ridiculously awful customer service and ethics.

Then we dropped it off for maintenance and left it with them for as long as they needed it as we were away for a month. We left a list of things that needed some attention. One was the hot water heater- it only got Luke warm. When we returned after a month they hadn't done anything to it and the guy said they cycled it through twice and it worked. The note on the repair slip said we hadn't turned the switch on! We moved back into the unit and still couldn't get hot water. They came out to the RV site and still didn't fix it. We moved to the North Shore and TLC RV repair came over and replaced the temp cutoff switch and it works fine. Many other things also were not addressed and the comments on the repair slip were arrogant and condescending. Very disappointed in this organization. They lose the good people and the ones left don't seem to know what they are doing!

Our issue: we got a small chip in the front windshield, which we reported prior to the inspection. We did not buy the "Platinum package" or windshield insurance. This place charges extra for everything and by the time we were through pricing our one week package, we felt like we had paid enough. So....small chip. $750 charge. It was deemed to be in a location that could obstruct the driver so it could not be repaired and the windshield would have to be replaced. I don't buy it. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. The experience was of a "money grab". The woman kept saying that I was getting a "refund".....$250 from our $1000 deposit. Yeah. Refund!!! Right.
