I was looking for an ebike for a year. I had my eye on Rad bikes but they never had them in stock. So one day I made my mind up to take a look at one in person if it were close to home. I dont drive and was nervous about public transportation during the pandemic. I looked up ebikes in NJ/NY and found Revolve with a NY number and called it. I spoke to a nice man, Tony who took the time to ask me what I was looking for. The bike I wanted he said he was delivering the next day in JC if I wanted to see it in person but he didnt recommend that bike because he said it would be too big for me (Im 5'2"). He told me the "Alex" would be a good fit. If I liked it he would hand deliver it for me the next day and then offered a deal I couldnt refuse. Who does that?! So excited for my new bike he arrived on time. Stayed about 30 minutes to explain the features on the bike and I rode it a bit. This has brought me joy. It rides beautifully. I know its just a bike but I feel some freedom now that I can get around a little without thinking about buses and trains. Nice guy, great bike....I highly recommend. read more

I bought the Stealth E-Bike last year here in OC, CA and luv it. I tried about 10 bikes and even took home 2 other ebikes B4 buying the Revolve Stealth. It's faster than most ebikes, has great features, and I get a lot of compliments on its styling. The power and the thumb accelerator make it a blast to take my pups on long rides in the bike trailer and they LOVE it! I'm buying an extra battery so I can comfortably go on rides over 25 miles. In 2018, I purchased my e-bike from soon-to-be-defendants Tony Gasson and his defrauding company, Revolve Electric Bikes (collectively, "Defendant Tony). The lemon bike that Defendant Tony sold me broke down completely within six months and less than 500 miles. Although riding less than 400 miles, the worst-quality tires looked like they had 100k on them. I notified Defendant Tony Gasson but he would not fix it himself. He instructed me to take it to a motorcycle dealer (note, no a bike repair shop) ten towns and two counties over from where i lived. I complied, but the guy could not fix the bike. Duh, Defendant Tony! He is a motorcycle repair guy, not an e-bike guy. And, what about that supposed two-year warranty that Defendant Tony said was in effect? That was a lie too. Defendant Tony made me pay for half of the warranty repair bill, which was over $500!!!!! I took the bike home and it still the same lemon that would repeatedly leave me stranded. I complained against and again, Defendant Tony promised me that he had found a repair shop this time that not only worked on bikes, but on e-bikes. Defendant Tony told me that the owners were waiting for me to bring the bike in. So, I took my lemon bike to that shop and the two owners told me that no one had ever called them about working on an e-bike (Defendant Tony had lied to me again - no surprise there). The owners told me that not only do they not work on e-bikes, they don't even like e-bikes. They told me that if Defendant Tony would have actually called them, they would have told him the same thing. So, I complained to Defendant Tony Gasson again, and this time, he just ignored most of my emails, knowing that he had been caught in lies, fraud and deceptive trade practices, all in violation of New Your state and federal laws. It is my opinion that Defendant Tony he was just hoping that all of it would just go away if he ignored another one of his customers. Unfortunately for Defendant Tony, I would not go away. I shipped him his lemon bike and ask to be refunded the price of the bike, the warranty bill i have to pay for and the cost of shipping. Defendant Tony responded by threatening to commit criminal actions against me. When that failed, Defendant Tony tried to blame me for the bike being lemon. Fortunately, I am a lawyer and I know how to initiate class action lawsuits against defendants such Tony Gasson. So, do me two favors: (1) if you are thinking about becoming a Revolve customer, don't!; and (2) if you are a Revolve customer and want to get some or all of your money back from Defendant Tony, write your own review here on YELP and include your email address so that I can contact you. Bottom Line: unless you want to be Revolve's next victim, stay away from them and Defendant Tony Gasson. Stay very, very far away. RadRover and Big Cat Bikes are much better and will not cause you the emotional distress that Defendant Tony will cause you. read more

Tony the owner was an absolute gentleman first and salesman 2nd. He was definitely a great guy to do business with. Buying my Evolve Rough Rider fat tire bike there was truly a pleasure and a great choice. The quality of the bike far surpassed any bikes I have test road or have done research on. WARNING....DO NOT BUY THESE BIKES, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH eBIKES In November I found an image of a bike that my son liked and contacted Tony Gasson about where we could purchase one. I asked him why his bikes cost more than some other similar bikes and he went on an told a story about how he has been dong this 7 years, stands behind his products, he is someone you can call if something goes wrong...fast forward 2 weeks We buy the bike from a local retailer and immediately there is an electrical failure. They send a new second bike and 2 months later there is a second electrical failure. For two months I have been chasing down Tony Gasson being told lies and mistruths about timing and shipping and when it will be repaired or a new bike delivered. The local retailer has no ability to repair these bikes, they are made in China with no english manual on how to repair, no available parts and no support when you need it. Learn from my mistake, this is not an honest retailer nor is it a quality product. I owned this bike for 2 months and there is nobody standing by the product, now it has been stored for 2 months in a garage waiting for Tony to do what his warranty promises. GO ELSEWHERE Below is my response to the comment left by Revolve: I am sorry but I do not think you understand. The bike that was originally purchased was the floor model and we expressed concern on the build when we bought it. Once we brought it home it was clear that the bike had issues. I called the retailer we bought it from and he said they would replace it and passed along the number for Revolve. on 8/26/17 I emailed Revolve and expressed my concern to Tony,, I was told that there is no english manual and on 8/30/17 Tony said they would send a new bike. No crash no damage no miles accrued. Revolve did replace the bike and Tony was cordial and apologetic for the condition of the original product. The new bike also had issues, the brakes failed after 6 weeks, causing a small crash. I did not request a new bike, I asked if the brakes were under warranty, as they should not have issues after only 1 month. I had the brakes repaired. The latest issue is an electrical system failure. I took the bike into the retailer on 12/3/17 and notifiedTony at Revolve on 12/5/17 that the motor does not turn when it is running on battery power. The assumption of the retailer and his mechanic was that the battery failed. 24 days after I took the bike into the shop Tony requested that I drive 4 hour round trip drive to pick up the new battery, I was unable to do so. January 9th the battery was finally delivered to the shop. 36 days after dropping the bike off. The new battery did not fix the issue. What I asked for was for the bike to be repaired, after 45 days of not knowing the status and being told various stories, I was told by the retailer that a new bike was being shipped to me as they could not diagnose the problem and I should contact Tony . On 1/15/18 Tony stated in an e-mail "The bike will be replaced...A little more patience would be appreciated." (I think waiting 6 weeks had already demonstrated a high degree of patience) We are now in the 9th week. The bike has been in for service longer that we have had it for use. The bike has neither been repaired or replaced. The bike has not ever been "destroyed" it is driven approx 4 miles per day on paved roads to take my son to school, aside from the brake episode it has not been crashed, laid down, driven recklessly. The issue is the quality of the product and the willingness of the company to stand behind the product. I bought a Stealth ebike from Revolve a couple of weeks ago after getting a lot of assistance from Tony (owner) and John (salesman). Although I have only ridden it for about 50 miles so far, I love it! I purchased it because it seemed to have all the features I was looking for at a much lower cost than most ebikes. I took a spill recently, due to my own carelessness. Even though the bike continued to function well, I took it back to John in Elmsford. After determining that the front rim was slightly bent, he replaced it for me on the spot, and he didn't charge me a cent.
