Great place for a good workout. I love this place although spinning is getting very expensive!

This gym should have six stars…read more My husband and I stayed in Santa Fe for 5 weeks and joined Railyard Fitness. They have a special membership with no commitment for travelers and I cannot recommend this gym highly enough. The gym itself is clean, modern, bright and has a great energy. It features top of the line equipment and includes everything that you can possibly think of (rowers, ellipticals, treadmills, stair stepper, TRX bands, etc.). On top of the gym equipment, the membership includes access to red light therapy & Normatec compression for full body. For an additional cost, you can enjoy the sauna and cold plunge located in a separate locked room. The owner, Douglas, is so kind and welcoming. The other trainers are the same. If you have the opportunity, purchasing a training session(s) with any of them would be a great investment. You could tell each of their clients truly enjoyed them and they were consistently busy. With that, even with 3-4 trainers seeing clients, there was plenty of room for other members to workout. The gym itself has three separate workout areas and plenty of machines / equipment to be shared. If we lived in Santa Fe this would be the gym that I would join without question. We miss the gym every day! Thanks for an amazing experience!

Traveling in Santa Fe and did a leg workout in hotel with sore legs. Found the yoga studio on…read moreClassPass and went with a Saturday morning prana flow class. Glad that I made a reservation the day prior. It was fully booked out. I arrived 20 min prior. Was able to get mat, towel rentals (first visit with free rentals). The front desk gave a good overview of the studio. Once you walk in, to the right are cycling rooms, change rooms/shower rooms. To the left was the yoga studio. They offer a good variety of accessories, cork blocks or soft blocks. Etc. I didn't see foam roller but I could have missed it completely. Mat and mat towels are good. But it is common rental mat issue with some smells. The mat towel comes with good grip. Prana flow was good with excellent breath work. The chanting was greatly appreciated too. I found the fellow students seem to have practiced for a while. Some with great techniques and postures. Teacher here was awesome too. This seems to be a solid choice in Santa Fe. Glad that I found it and get to stretch out while in town.

Everything about this place is great except one thing…read more.. There's a male patron doing naked yoga sessions in the sauna that is ruining it for everyone else (we call him sauna guy). We're not talking about basic stretches either, were talking full blown legs up in the air, grunting obnoxiously, doing the splits. Last time I was in there, he was literally doing the splits on his back; spread eagle for all to see! The only reason I'm putting this review in is because the owner and / or management need to know about this. I have already complained twice to the front desk, but the 20yr old kid on shift isn't going to do anything about it. Front desk kid even said they 'talked to the guy already, but he wont stop.' Hey how about suspending his membership? Then revoking it? It's not rocket science how to solve this problem. I don't care if he wants to stretch so he can get good at 'the splits' and I don't care that he wants to be nude, I care that he wants to do both at the same time and take up half the fkng sauna. Wear speedo shorts or don't put your balls up in the air. It's one or the other my guy. For clarity, I have included some images (not sure what yelp did with them) to help demonstrate to management the types of moves this guy is doing (while naked). He is visually assaulting my retinas and I've had enough of his inappropriate exhibitionist behavior. I'm just as tolerant as anyone else, but this creep has got to go!

After about 3 years of going to this gym the craziest thing happened to me. I know it's going to…read moresound paranoid but hear me out. Most of my interactions with this place have been pretty benign. I'd go in twice a week to get in a strength session or cardio. Of course, the second they put up that blue lives matter flag up gave me significant pause. Seems like an odd move for a gym in a working class neighborhood. I thought seriously about canceling my membership over that but didn't because I liked the routine I had got into over the years. I thought it would be too difficult to quit the gym etc etc so I procrastinated. After a workout I got approached by someone while I was buying something from the vending machine. A guy I had never seen before asked for my phone number. Seemed pleasant enough so I stupidly gave him my number. I may have made a comment about it being a cop gym (which if that bothered the guy get real). Some time later and he tries to add me to Snapchat, which I have but actually never use (too many ads). Since I don't add anyone to that if I don't know them I denied the request and moved on. He texted me later and through a series of messages I learned that he works at the gym. I questioned why he approached me a little, as one does. He mentioned Snapchat and I said I don't use it. Anyone with a lick of sense knows that Snapchat is not used for wholesome purposes. I said yeah, I have a profile but I never open the app. He said something like 'Well, you better open it for me' to which I immediately said no. I can only imagine he didn't take that very well because he stopped texting. I think he also got me locked out of the gym. It's kinda comical of you think about it. I was already on the fence about the place and then this happens. Now, the person who runs the place is claiming I'm locked out for what he referred to as "tailgating". The last time I went to work out was November 26. I had already been locked out. It was also the ONLY TIME anyone ever let me in because my pass wasn't working. How convenient for them, right? Do I regret not canceling myself and letting it get to this point? Kinda. Do I care enough to do anything beyond writing this out? Honestly, no. They did me a favor in the long run. I can't prove that I'm being retaliated against but I can warn other people that something is fishy. I know it sounds extremely paranoid to come to the conclusion I have. The series of events just make no sense. In any case this is a very good time for me to move on. P.S If a rando hits on you at this place be cautious.

I could go on about the conditions.... doesn't seem to have any of our cleaning fees going back in to the place AT ALL. Trying to cancel my membership..... ha! You must talk with Jeremy to get that done. Went by 3 times today and he was not there. No sign as to why or when he'd be back......his office hours are 10-7 on his door but online says 9am. I've also been getting cold more frequently since starting here. Full convinced it's the lack of cleaning and sanitation.... This used to be the best place for workouts and powerlifing !
