Friendly, and engaging they really helped me be at ease on my trip, talking to me not just like a customer, but also as a person. They talked to me about a lot of the local hot spots in the city friendly to sight seers and tourists, some bit of news, where to avoid going, interesting Broadway plays that were playing, etc. Just really knowledgeable about things that put me at ease and made my trip less scary, and way more enjoyable. I enjoyed my time being shown the city that I just had to tip, because it just seemed they were so enjoying their job that it was infectious. I wish I had something like this in my home city, because it just really spoiled me. I really commend them for a good job, and spoiling an already spoiled tourist.

I booked a one-hour pedicab tour through Central Park for my daughter and me. Our driver was…read morewonderful, and we truly enjoyed the experience--until we returned from taking a quick photo at the "Spiderman Bridge" to find an NYPD officer speaking with our driver and another driver from the same company. Our pedicab had been parked on a muddy path near the Friends Fountain, and the NYPD informed them that pedicabs are not permitted to park there. Not a problem--things happen. However, the situation escalated when the other driver began arguing with the officer while the citation was being written. This extended the stop significantly. My daughter and I ended up sitting in the pedicab for nearly 25 minutes while the citation was processed. I even have time-stamped photos we sent to my husband that confirm the delay. We didn't complain at the time--it was a beautiful day, and we simply enjoyed the scenery while waiting. Once the officers left, the tour resumed briefly, but then it ended. I mentioned to our driver that the tour had run short by about 20 minutes, but I still tipped generously because I felt bad for him. Later, I called the company's headquarters expecting a partial refund, as we clearly did not receive the full tour we paid for. I understand the driver likely needed to return for his next tour, but if that was the case, it should have been communicated to us--or the lost time should have been compensated. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone was dismissive and unprofessional, insisting we received the full tour despite the 25-minute delay. It wasn't the amount of money that mattered--rather, it was the lack of honesty and customer service. Because of that interaction, I would not use this company again.

The bus driver Levi was also very nice and friendly, (I had never met such a very friendly tour guide and bus driver compared to my previous guided tour experiences). After meeting at St. Patrick's we were dropped off at Grand Central Station took pictures and Julien took us to this hidden jewel, the Whispering Wall/gallery at the grand central terminal (in front of the oyster bar and restaurant). This was not part of the itinerary, and I appreciate how we were taken to this place. It was amazing how you can whisper into the wall and be heard by the person in another corner of the wall. We headed to the Empire State Building, where we were supposed to explore by ourselves but to our surprise, our tour guide Julien followed on the observation deck. He took very nice pictures (he is a pro) he knows where to take pictures and the right angles. We also had a delectable lunch and a nice ambiance at Paesano's in Little Italy. We boarded back to the shuttle where driver Levi patiently waited and this man had to drive around the area while waiting for us because they can't be parked in one spot for a while and had to share the parking to other shuttles/buses. We were taken to the Wall Street, Trinity Church and showed us the Alexander Hamilton's tomb. After that, we headed to the Statue of Liberty where Julien stayed with us the entire time and had an amazing time. He knew a lot of people including the securities, the workers etc. He knows what we need to do before heading to the security areas. He provided a great information about New York and we learned so much about the city in just 9 hours. He sounded like he had a sore throat on the day of our tour but that did not stop him from providing such a wonderful introduction and insight even he had to talk on top of his lungs. The last part of our tour was the 9/11 Memorial and Memorial Pools which was very emotional and touching experience. Lastly, my overall experience in this tour was wonderful. Before we departed Julien sang a song to us inside the shuttle the "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra and we felt so special. I totally enjoyed my visit to New York because of tour guide Julian. He is a very hard working tour guide, does an excellent job!. He made sure we are all safe and no one gets lost in the tour. He even gave us souvenirs from the places we visited (postcards, etc.) Levi is a very good, safe, and patient driver. All respect for Julien who does an excellent job and also driver Levi. I would recommend this tour to my family and friends. Many many thanks to Julien and I totally recommend Julian to everyone who would like to visit New York.

He was so friendly, accommodating, funny, charismatic, and informative on everything New York. Our tour started off at St. Patrick's Cathedral and then progressed to the Empire State Building. At every point of interest, we were treated with fast access as VIPs. The Empire State Building was amazing and Julian got us in and out in quick fashion. We then went to Little Italy and a nice restaurant and canollies place in that area. The arrangements with the restaurant were great as the prices and food quality were good and the efficiency of getting us in and out in quick fashion was great. We then went to the Statue of Liberty where we bypassed a lot of the serpentine lines that circled that park area. However, the screening area was unavoidable and a bit of a delay as it was 45 minutes. Still Julian worked to make our entry as quick as possible and our time there valuable. Once getting onto Liberty Island, we went through a secondary screening area right at the statue and Julian gave us a lot of really neat information on the history of the Statue of Liberty. We then went to the 911 Memorial and the Oculus which was somber and enriching and Julian gave us keen insight on what the memorial park meant to him and shared a really touching personal story. I would recommend this tour company to family and friends as it is amazing. Try to request Julian as he is the most amazing human being I have met in quite some time. He made the entire experience quite memorable, informative, and fun.

We had a coupon for free bikes and we decided to upgrade to the electric ones. Best decision ever! We went around the whole park and were cruising past the people struggling in the hills. First I was baited and switched by their sidewalk sign guy who assured us the rate for a bike for 4…read morehours was only $19 per bike. However once at the check-in counter the price became $29. The counter girl then pressured my wife and I into buying the day rate since it was only $5 more. She then told us we needed insurance which was an extra $2 per bike. So after being lured in by what I was told would cost roughly $40, after taxes turned into $81. My fault for not walking away at this point, but we'd already gotten excited by the idea. Outside we were then strongly scolded by the bike handlers for not already knowing there was a separate line for male and female bikes. The biking itself was enjoyable but we ended up only keeping the bikes for 2 hours due to the immense traffic of horse carriages, other bicyclists, bike caddies, park carts, pedestrians, etc. It just became too much and felt too dangerous. Arriving back at the store we were once again yelled at by the bike handlers. I'm not even sure the reason this time. NEVER going back here. I *strongly* recommend saving yourself the money and grief and just rent a citibike.
