The Inn itself is quaint and historic and the perfect location for an event or a group getaway. It is right next to the water and just beautiful. There are canoes to use as well as games and books inside. They are also just great restaurant and bar as well, with amazing specialty drinks and an eclectic collection of local beer and IPAs on tap. I highly recommend this place for your summer or fall getaway. I know we'll be back.

The bathroom is rather small and two piece, so you have to wash your hands in the kitchen sink. Outside of that, the rooms were fine from a space consideration and there is a lot of nice outdoor space. You do have access to a grill so that's nice, just make sure to bring your own charcoal and firewood for the public fire pits that overlook the bay. There is no A/C but they do offer fans in both rooms. Fortunately the weather broke right before we got there so instead of hot and humid it was cool and dry. The outdoor space was nice because we had access to overlook the bay and with a small walk we were able to get to the water. Not sure it's ideal for any kind of swimming but you do have access which is nice. Overall it was a nice stay, but I don't feel that I would want to spend more than 2 nights here total. It's a personal preference as I enjoy more space.

Cabins are very cute and rustic, but have wifi, small kitchen, and bathrooms with running water. There are two larger houses on the property for rent, along with several cabins ranging from 1 to 2 bedroom. This would be a perfect spot to rent with a group of friends/family and be close to one another while still maintaining some of your own space. Each cabin has a grill, and there are two firepits on the property along with picnic tables. The location itself is great. You're somewhere in between Bar Harbor and Winter Harbor where you can easily access both sides of Acadia National Park. Bar Harbor is only about a 40 min drive and there's a ton to see on Route 3 on the way over. Be sure to check out Flander's Bay BBQ on weekends and Dunbar's Store down the road!

An easy 40 min drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National park made day trips fun and easy. Nearby Restaurants and large department stores make it easy to shop here rather than pack for the week. This small motel and complex of cabins sits just off the main road with access to the lake behind it. From the moment we arrived, we admired its vintage charm & greatly appreciated how EXTREMELY CLEAN our motel room was. Freshly painted, new rustic bedding, knotty pine floors, and blackout curtains make it a cozy place to stay. There is a flat screen TV, mini fridge / freezer, microwave and Free Wifi available in the motel rooms. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in caring for the property. Out front of your motel room, is a picnic bench, gas grill, fire pit and chairs for your use. You can stroll down to the lake, swim, jump off the dock or borrow one of the canoes available. Our family of 2 adults, 2 young children and 2 dogs fit very comfortably in the room provided. Acadia is about 35 minutes away. At $85/nite we were happy to make a little drive to get to our destination.

Otherwise, beautiful place with a lovely room. The room was clean, spacious, well appointed and was well lit with a nice window out front. Check-in was easy and the people who work there are very nice. The gentleman cleaning my room was outside when I was putting my duffel bag back up in the cargo carrier on top of my car and came right over to help me. Like I said, 10 out of 10!
