We grabbed this spot off of Air B-n-B for a one night stay. The cabin is small but serves it's purpose. The bathroom is rather small and two piece, so you have to wash your hands in the kitchen sink. Outside of that, the rooms were fine from a space consideration and there is a lot of nice outdoor space. You do have access to a grill so that's nice, just make sure to bring your own charcoal and firewood for the public fire pits that overlook the bay. There is no A/C but they do offer fans in both rooms. Fortunately the weather broke right before we got there so instead of hot and humid it was cool and dry. The outdoor space was nice because we had access to overlook the bay and with a small walk we were able to get to the water. Not sure it's ideal for any kind of swimming but you do have access which is nice. Overall it was a nice stay, but I don't feel that I would want to spend more than 2 nights here total. It's a personal preference as I enjoy more space. read more

What a cute spot! You are right on the water with this awesome private waterfront beach access and some amazing views! Cabins are very cute and rustic, but have wifi, small kitchen, and bathrooms with running water. There are two larger houses on the property for rent, along with several cabins ranging from 1 to 2 bedroom. This would be a perfect spot to rent with a group of friends/family and be close to one another while still maintaining some of your own space. Each cabin has a grill, and there are two firepits on the property along with picnic tables. The location itself is great. You're somewhere in between Bar Harbor and Winter Harbor where you can easily access both sides of Acadia National Park. Bar Harbor is only about a 40 min drive and there's a ton to see on Route 3 on the way over. Be sure to check out Flander's Bay BBQ on weekends and Dunbar's Store down the road! read more

Attended a wedding here and stayed in one of the cabins for a night, it was beautiful and rustic --I would recommend it to anyone!

Visited a couple years back with family. Cabins were not clean and "dumpy" looking. Also VERY close to each other!

Recently rented a "rustic" cabin at Flanders Bay. What a surprise when we got there! The website makes it look like the cabin is by itself, right? Go ahead and ask them for a photo panning back from the front. There are FIVE cabins right on top of each other! Plywood door to bath literally next to kitchen sink, with lineoleum peeling all over the place. Carpeting is gross too. Really disappointing. I've taken my family to many cheap rustic cabins we loved but this was disgusting! The view of the bay was nice though. read more
