I took a rowing class with Jordan, he was fantastic. I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable about fitness, but also about rowing. He was super helpful with technique (rowing is not my forte, but I do enjoy it). Also, given we are in covid, I must mention the gym was clean, Jordan was conciliatory to maintain social distancing when we had our masks off and everyone sanitizes their equipment thoroughly. My only business suggestion is to put some signage on the building because you have a phenomenal space I think is being overlooked by some. Only me and one other student showed up, and the place smelled like a sweat-fest (those ballerinas before us must have been workin' it). Teacher was casual, a very talented choreographer, and hungry because she kept going to the side of the studio to eat her dinner in between instructions. I didn't sweat (again, I think my body was tricked by the studio's aroma into thinking it wasn't necessary) but I did feel challenged by the routine. Only about 1/3 of the class time was dedicated to dancing; the rest was warm up moves, funkywalking across the floor, stretching, and ab exercises. The music choices were contemporary which was a plus. I would have liked to learn a longer routine than three counts of 8, but its all good.

It is a fun class, and really makes you sweat! I've lost a total of 10lbs in the past three classes! The facilities are large and extremely well kept. There is a large waiting room space for parents/families of dancers. The bathrooms are consistently clean. And the atmosphere in general is exactly what any parent should look for in a dance studio for their children.

I've taken him to a variety of other classes in the area (Kindermusik, story hours at the library, that sort of thing) and the staff here is top notch. They really delight in kids being kids, and if your child is more of a rule-breaker than a follower, that's OK. I also appreciate that they've very flexible on rescheduling classes or issuing a credit if you have a sick kid or vacation keeping you away from class. My husband and I had 0 experience (not good dancers!), but George helped us to make a nice spectacle out of our first dance. We ended up stunning our wedding guests with our fancy moves. The teachers are great with the kids and are the perfect blend of encouraging and firm. We're on our 6th year and at this point are there four days a week for a few hours each day. We're like family!
