This is my favorite record store in Wisconsin! (I know there's a bigger one in Madison but I hate going there due to its location, parking challenges, and tight salesfloor space.) Revival Records is a big store and they utilize their space well. Most of their used backstock is on the sales floor, so sometimes you can pick your condition and your price. Highly recommended. It was a nice little boutique record store. Lots of older things, the staff was very friendly and nice. Not much of the newer stuff, more older things. A little over priced for the older stuff, things you can find much cheaper at goodwill kind of stores. Great location for looking for older artists and albums, not much for greatest hits albums. read more

If you're a serious collector, just drive to the cities and don't waste your time here. Been in about a dozen times over the past year. Usually never greeted upon arrival and have never been offered assistance. New vinyl is slightly overpriced, used vinyl is very overpriced. I'm giving two stars to represent others I know that have had a pleasant experience. Maybe it's just me. I will happily make the drive to Minneapolis or Rochester instead of spending money here. read more

kind of a cool feeling being in justin vernon's hometown, hitting up revival records and purchasing bon iver's latest LP that came out over the weekend. didn't realize what a fan i was when i found an opportunity to take a road trip that would come across me visiting this small town that was a quiet main street but has modern touches growing all over. revival records has an ample selection with super friendly people helping you and asking if i need any recommendations. definitely stop in if you're in town or looking for new music. had to get a me a hat to remember this experience by also. it'll be fun if i get a chance to come back here but until then, i'll never forget being able to check this off my personal bucket list. read more

Awesome local record store that supports local businesses. Great selection of new and used vinyl. In fact, I found the most random record there I could ever imagine. Local Milwaukee jazz artist, George Pritchett. I haven't been able to find the record anywhere but it happen to be here. Great prices. The employee that was working was very sweet and knowledgeable. She is very proud of her job and loves what she does. Their T-shirts are very high-quality and are made at a local T-shirt shop. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop in. Last time I was in, I picked out a few records to add to my collection. The guy running the store asked me if I was looking for anything in particular that they didn't have and then promptly ordered every album I named specifically for me. He offered to send me a text when they arrived and when I went in to purchase them they were cheaper than I anticipated (based on a few internet searches and previous inquiries). I love this place. They have a great selection. Some records are slightly overpriced but some are slightly underpriced as well. They always play good music in the store and the attendant is always very happy to assist you if you ask! Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place. It's a real gem in Eau Claire read more

Not only one of the best vinyl record stores I've ever been to, but one of the best businesses in general I've ever been to. Have a fantastic selection of records, the owners are very welcoming and informative with records, music, and players. Fair pricing, especially with their punch card if you're a regular. Got almost all of my vinyl there, and do not regret it in the slightest. Organization is a little iffy but adds to the fun of finding something cool (and they'll show you where to go if you ask). I've been to quite a few record stores, especially around Wisconsin. I think Revival Records has the potential to be an amazing vinyl store. Some of the best vinyl stores have all their used records in sleeves. I wasn't a big fan of the new albums intermixed with used but since it's not a huge store, I get it. Lastly, if there was a marker for a particular artist, other artists with similar names would be under that same marker. Whatever, not the biggest deal. The selection of used records was good. I found a couple albums, ones that I haven't found at other stores. My husband, who is a vinyl snob, was not impressed. read more

Great selection that is always organized and up to date. Service is usually very good, however, one instance in particular on this past record store day upset me. One of the workers struck me as being very condescending, she didn't make eye contact or greet me, and was overall very rude when I had questions. I like to support local businesses, but instances like this are very strange and upsetting. read more
