Stopped by while in town with my mom. It's in the heart of 5 Points. Found two really cute jackets. Loved them both but my luggage was too full of both. The blue is my favorite shade but am kicking myself that I just didn't buy them both and figure out how to wear two coats home. I tried to reach out to the store via their contact email but no response. There were three staff working the day we were there, not overly welcoming. The selection was pretty good. I am shocked at how snotty and rude every employee in this place is. I'll admit, I was a bit late coming back to pick up my items, but I didn't expect to have $600 worth of items donated without notice (no email or anything? What kind of policy is that?). When inquiring about it today, I was met by both employees with defensiveness and uppity attitudes. I'll never be in here again as they make it clear that they prefer me at their sister store, and the value I did bring to them was literally trashed. read more

I walked in the store in a nice shirt and jeans and immediately was given a snotty look. I continued to look at the beautiful dresses and other outfits and still got weird looks but then was greeted by a lady named Audrey and asked if I needed any help. I was also greeted by another person that worked at the store and what seemed like a manager, that said her name was Heather. She seemed like she was unable to help me. She made me feel like she thought I didn't have the money to shop at the store. I do not recommend shopping here. The merchandise is well over priced and the customer service is even worse They really like to judge people here. read more

Revente is an excellent consignment store. Very helpful staff. They have high end designers and department store clothes. Always in superb condition. I have found some very unique pieces there. Awesome consignment shop! You can either go two ways with these. It can be a total hot mess with clothes strewn everywhere, smelling like someone's stale closet or it can be clean and organized. This is clean, organized and honestly doesn't even feel like a consignment shop! Even better! Quality threads, accessories and shoes you'll find here. I came in just to browse and walked out with a new scarf that I LOVE LOVE LOVE that is something unique that I'lll be wearing well into the spring and a new pair of gloves. Oh wait, did I mention they also carry some new items? They have a good amount of newer accessories like the totally tech friendly gloves I bought (built in thumb and pointer finger texting gloves!). Plus a whole case full of glamorous jewelry. Funny I find gloves and a scarf down south, but hey, better I bundle up with them while you enjoy your 60 degree winters! read more

I shopped like a mad woman on Saturday, but this is actually the only place I made a purchase. Revente is upscale consignment, everything from Theory to Tory Burch. The brands are reflected in the price tags too, so don't expect to find any amazing steals here even though it's secondhand. However, a lot of the merch is in near-perfect condition. I ended up trying on a few things, including a like-new black wool J. Crew skirt for $30 and a perfectly cozy (new) $35 sweater. I loved both... thank goodness I packed light so I had room in my suitcase. I thrifted a similar skirt at Savers in Minneapolis that I wear almost every single day and it was $10 there, so I hemmed and hawed about my purchases for a while before checking out. I'm sure that you can find a new skirt on the sales rack of J. Crew for $30 too, but I decided I liked it enough that it needed to be in my closet at any cost. The shop was over-staffed on Saturday, so there were quite a few of the girls just standing around and gabbing with each other. They weren't being super professional with their conversations---the only reason I mention it is that it was just unexpected for kind of an upscale store. Note: Their sister store (Revente's Last Call) benefits a local women's shelter. Nice! read more

Can find good stuff here. Small selection of designer clothing, jewelry, handbags, and shoes. Plus other brands like Banana Republic and Talbots. I found a nice Talbots skirt suit for $45. Prices aren't exactly a steal, but it's better than paying full price. All of the items are in nice condition. Worth stopping by and taking a look around. read more

I brought a new, never worn pair of Vince shoes of original cost of $275.00 and an almost new Ellen Tracy black cashmere/wool jacket that cost $575.00. I had previously had been told that the owner researched the cost and condition of items brought in...as it turns out I am getting a check for c $40.00 for these 2 items. Someone who bought this stuff made out like a bandit..I feel tho that I have been robbed. Please inquire what they plan on selling your items before leaving them. I have shopped at Revente for years, but today was my last time. When I came in, two associates were standing out in front of the cash register. They said "Hello" and when I said "Hi" back, they both broke out in separate directions. I'm not going to bite, you know. Then while I was picking up clothes to try on, no one asked me if I wanted to start a dressing room. They did however ask two other women if they wanted to. What irritated me most was when I was walking to the dressing room, that was when one of the associates asked a woman if she wanted to start a dressing room. I was already outside of it! She looked at me and then turned and walked away. Rude! So I went to the register and told the young lady that I was ready to try on right now while the other ladies were still shopping. Therefore, it would help if they could remove their clothes while I tried on and I would be right out. Her response "Well I'm thinking about what to do." What do you have to think about?! I just told you what to do! So she walks over, and removes the shopper's clothes. I told her "Thank you." She didn't even acknowledge me with a "You're welcome" , "Mmmhmm" or anything. I only tried on 3 of my pieces and left. No need to spend my money at some place that completely disrespects its customers. I can spend my money at ThredUp, where their customer service is 1000xs better. Every time I come to Revente on the weekend I get crappy service and I'm tired of it. They really need to hire better people for the weekend instead of aloof, unbothered college students who are clueless about customer service or customer experience. read more

Do not take your dresses here unless they tell you what they will sell them for... They pay only a quarter of what its worth and will give away your items to "charity" if they feel it is not worth $25.00 or less.(oh yeah but they don't tell you what they will sell for when you drop them off). I will never bring my items for sale here again. They will rip you off!! read more
