"GB Shoes Warehouse" is a regional footwear outlet in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. This store is similar to the national D*W that many of us shoe lovers frequently patronize. I had a pair of pink, suede Merrell snow boots I purchased back in November 2005. For ten (10) plus years, these little gals surely performed the job excellently. They took me through Wisconsin winter, Pennsylvania blizzard, and are still standing strong in my closet. I found another pair of cold-weather boots by Sorel for $115 (orig. $230). I didn't think that looking for snow boots would be difficult because of the lack of demand for a warm climate. The cashier told me to put them on the next day since the weather in SC will be in the 40s. Well, that won't be necessary. They expanded their sales floor and now men's and women's apparel is also featured. "GB Shoes Warehouse" has their own loyalty program, the GB preferred card. My in-laws told me that they are cardholders and receive coupons consistently. Select brands would receive a significant discount ($20-$30 off). I would be willing to sign for a reward card if I were to live locally.

The owner of this shop's name is Annabel and she is such a beautiful, lovely person who will make you feel right at home. Even after I left, I had to come back soon after! This is by far my favorite boutique in the area! Not to mention, I'm a curvy woman who typically wears a 12 or a large. So, the fact that Annabel was able to find many different dresses that fit my curves very nicely was a nice bonus! When it comes to pricing, it can be pretty expensive. However, she even pointed me in the direction of another dress that was 50% off and it was this gorgeous shade of purple that went beautifully with my skin tone. Now, to me, it was between two dresses that I really liked. I left to keep my options open, but like I said previously, I came back. This time, I came back to find some gorgeous earrings that went with my new outfit. The girls even told me I was welcome to try on my new dress I had just purchased from another store to see what it looked like with the earrings! Although I didn't do that, it was still a very nice gesture to be recognized. I found the perfect pair of earrings and made my way out of the store before I found myself spending more money. All of the shops have amazing products! As a content creator I shared details and content on this establishment. A friend that once worked with a branding company for businesses on main st. Reached out to me personally and explained (we) " black middle class" are not the targeted audience for main st businesses and to not invest to invest to much to putting them in front of my audiences. I never allowed that advice to stop me from patronizing main st businesses. I prefer to have my own experiences... well Shoppes at Tapps proved her correct. I invited one of my coworkers to go to tabs with me on lunch break one day because I knew that she would love everything about the shop. And let's just say she did! She ended up spending close to $300! That day I tried on a perfume that I absolutely loved! The perfumes are on a display that has the testers in front of each scent. Well it appears that the sample I tried on in store was not the boxes behind the sample bc what I sprayed on the next day was not the same perfume! I only sprayed two sprays out of the bottle took it back to the shop in less than 24 hours and they would not take it back and let me get the correct one! The manger/owner stated that bc I sprayed 2 sprays out of the bottle it she wouldn't exchange it BUT she would give me a discount if I purchased another bottle! That day I couldn't help but to feel disgusted and disappointment! I couldn't help but to think if I looked different would the outcome have been different? My platform spreads the message that we are welcome in all spaces and I base that off of my own personal experiences. So I have since removed any content around this business off all platforms.
