Turnover seemed decent but there are always several cars circling. We saw a meter maid too!

I will say that there is a single employee that has been working there for a long time who always has a horrible attitude. Never greets customers, and when dropping off / picking up in the selling area of the store, she never smiles or is happy to be there. Not sure of her name, but she's a short brunette. Everyone else is pleasant, and I'm not sure why such a longstanding employee gets away with the attitude she has every time I enter the store. Needs to be addressed.

I went in to sell some clothes, and I asked the man there if it was a consignment store. He told me…read more"no". I was confused, and when I looked it up, it does say consignment. He sent me to a buy/sell/trade establishment, and but they gave me $10 for several silk ties bought at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and still in the wrapping as well as some amazing clothing that my mother had before she died (from Jones of New York and Talbotts, almost never worn). I felt like he thought I wouldn't have anything because of the way I was dressed. (I don't dress up to show my status in the world, and clothes are not that important to me.) I really despise what feels like prejudice, and I cannot believe that he lied straight to my face and didn't even tell me of the other consignment store on the street.

Allison has always been able to fit my grands better than I can myself and they live out of town so she seldom sees them. She just knows how to fit growing babies and children. She always carries the best and cutest clothes, as well as a variety of styles to fit all taste. The prices are very reasonable and there is always a sales rack in the store. She has tent sales several times a year. There is also a variety of accessories to choose from. She has great taste when it comes to accessorizing. One of the additions is a larger selection of "gifts" for birthdays, baby showers and "just because surprises for the little ones. Monogramming and appliqués are also available with quick turn around. Allison is excellent in suggesting the cutest this when you can't decide- which is always me!! All of the shops have amazing products! As a content creator I shared details and content on this establishment. A friend that once worked with a branding company for businesses on main st. Reached out to me personally and explained (we) " black middle class" are not the targeted audience for main st businesses and to not invest to invest to much to putting them in front of my audiences. I never allowed that advice to stop me from patronizing main st businesses. I prefer to have my own experiences... well Shoppes at Tapps proved her correct. I invited one of my coworkers to go to tabs with me on lunch break one day because I knew that she would love everything about the shop. And let's just say she did! She ended up spending close to $300! That day I tried on a perfume that I absolutely loved! The perfumes are on a display that has the testers in front of each scent. Well it appears that the sample I tried on in store was not the boxes behind the sample bc what I sprayed on the next day was not the same perfume! I only sprayed two sprays out of the bottle took it back to the shop in less than 24 hours and they would not take it back and let me get the correct one! The manger/owner stated that bc I sprayed 2 sprays out of the bottle it she wouldn't exchange it BUT she would give me a discount if I purchased another bottle! That day I couldn't help but to feel disgusted and disappointment! I couldn't help but to think if I looked different would the outcome have been different? My platform spreads the message that we are welcome in all spaces and I base that off of my own personal experiences. So I have since removed any content around this business off all platforms.
