ABSOLUTE BEST PRICE and FAB SERVICE for watch battery replacement in SGV! A week prior to walking into REV Watches, I searched Yelp for watch battery replacement recommendations and ended up submitting a project for vendors to provide estimates. I balked at some of the estimates provided by respective vendors, ranging from $25 to $45+ for an old Michael Kors watch I bought 10-20 years ago. WHAT?! The quote range provided would be fair for finer watches than the MK brand! REV was *NOT* one of the vendors that Yelp outreached to for quotes. Naturally, I kept searching for the best price in town rather than settling for the random 4 vendors who provided ridonkulous quotes. REV Watches stood out due to the good reviews and a reasonable distance from me. I dialed ahead to get a quote and didn't specify what type of watch but was pleased with the verbal quote. Upon arrival, I requested verbal confirmation on the price and then handed over two watches for battery replacement and browsed the store offerings as I waited. The gentleman worked on battery replacement while a lady offered me individually wrapped chocolates. I wondered how long they've been in business at that location as I've passed by before but didn't notice the place. The lady states they've been there for about 3 years now. I later settled in a chair at a coffee table and the kind lady offered two sets of complimentary AA and AAA of batteries and took her up on the offer. Kind honest folks and can't beat the price! I took in 2 watches to replace the batteries. The work was done with professional efficiency. I also had an older, heirloom watch which didn't work. I wanted it fixed and cleaned. I was told in all honesty that only an antique watch repair could do it. With this recommendation, I found an antique repair shop in Pasadena, and it's currently being evaluated. I walked in and was immediately greeted and welcomed. I came in to remove a link on my cheap watch cause it was too big. An older gentleman came from the back before I could put it in to show how much it needed to be adjusted. I gave it to him and before I could even walk half the store he was done. I tired it on and it was a perfect fit! He even gave me a little baggie with the extra link he removed. Simple $10 to adjust and was really glad it took quite literally 2 mins. I needed a new battery for my watch....and didn't have a clue where i could have this done. I checked Yelp...and Rev Watches came up... in Alhambra...two stores down from Ross! I went over there today and was really surprised how nice this shop is!! it's large, clean and has many name brands available ... watches and accessories. the lady and man that work there are very nice....and i was only charged $10 for that new battery! I was walking through downtown when I spotted this store. I was hesitant to go in worried I might be the only one in a store full of very expensive watches with a pushy salesperson. My girlfriend convinced me to give it a try and I was glad she did. The store does have nice watches but nothing too intimidating like Rolex or Jaeger LeCoultre. This shop had a wonderful selection of Seiko, Citizen, Orient, and Bulova to name a few. Brands that can feel special but won't break the bank which is a great feeling for someone just getting into watches. The shop owner was very nice, laid back, and informative as well. I'll definitely be coming to this store when I'm ready to make my first purchase. read more

Super fast service and reasonably priced for battery replacement. Would recommend to all

I brought my Seiko Kinetic dive watch in to get a new capacitor as the movement stopped out frequently from infrequent wear. Their staff recommended that I stick with what some call the 'Seiko shuffle' where you move the watch in a circular motion to charge it up vs getting a new capacitor as a fix. I now think this is really the way for this type of Seiko. You just have to manage that along with your wear time. Currently not looking to get anything, but they have a very good selection of Seiko and Casio/ Casio G-Shock among others - they are authorized dealers and they will also work with you to order an item if they don't carry. read more

Charging a reasonable fee, Rev Watches fixed my mom's watch metal wristband (circa 1990s) in a matter of seconds after I tried to do it myself which made it worse! Lovely little shop with a very nice proprietor Leon and his assistants. A clean professional store with an excellent selection of watches at various prices and good customer service. I needed a present for my nephew to congratulate him for an achievement, and I found just right watch from G Shock collection.
