2006 Ford Explorer.
Chris N.

I just purchased a beautiful 2006 Ford Explorer from Russ over at Rev Motorsports. Nine out of ten car sales people piss me off by acting like a car salesperson. I had a wonderful pain free experience going through the sales process. The vehicle itself was the only one that matched my demanding search criteria in a 100 mile radius. Rev had it right down to the color and the heated seats. I really didn't think I could afford this nice a vehicle and they put it in reach. The Price: 1500 below my searched max price. My interest rate was the biggest shock. I didn't know rates went that low. Well at least not on Saturdays at 7pm. Mileage was 15000 below what I was hoping for. They made a little money. I saved a lot of money. That's the way it's supposed to work. As for the after the purchase experience, Andrew delivered on any and every issue that Russ and myself discussed during the sales process as well as a couple minor things that they had no business taking care but did anyway.(Thanks guys) As for the previous review my experience was much different. I enjoyed not having the pressure of a large sales team size me up as I step on the lot, constantly breathing down my neck. I also understand how that giving someone time and space can come off as being disinterested. I am confident that if you reach out to them with any issues or concerns that one might have that they will treat you fairly as they have done for me. Chris Neff 1.0

I can't say enough great things about these guys. I traded my C230 for a beautiful E350 coupe and it was a seamless process with absolutely no pressure. I had the pleasure of working with Ben, Jason, Ryan and the owner Andrew all of which were so professional, knowledgable and personable. I was really torn on which 3rd party warranty to get up until my closing and Ben took the time to compare all my options and have not only a recommendation waiting for me upon my arrival but several options with a list of pros and cons. I would encourage you to look here for any purchase or trade in needs they have the best prices, with exceptional quality for both the inventory and staff. I would definitely buy from Rev Motors in the future.

My experience with REV Motorsports started with a visit to their lot to look at a car I stumbled upon on Craigslist.

Avoid this place at all costs…read more I bought a 2020 Audi PHEV about three years ago. The check engine light hit about an hour after taking it off the lot. I called to return it and the owner said to take it to Audi as it still was under the full warranty. It sat on the lot for nearly two years waiting on parts - finally having the entire electrical system replaced. I drove it for about a year then a couple of months ago it wouldn't start. I called Luxury Auto Plex and the owner told me he would pay any deductibles on my "fully refundable" extended warranty, so take it into the dealership. The repair was declined so I paid for it out of pocket. Last week it started making strange noises and I had enough so I lost about 6k and traded it in. As for the fully refundable GMC warranty? It's not cancellable or refundable upon selling the car - the only way to cancel it was to default on the loan or total the car. They told me to call the dealership, lol. Stay away from Luxury Auto Plex and DO NOT FALL for the GMC Extended Warranty. Not worth the paper it's printed on and you will not get any refunds.

Probably one of the worst car buying experiences I've had. They sold me a Mercedes that was…read moreincomplete for a complete car price. there was an issue with the transmission so they tried to fix it. They couldn't fix it so they took the Mercedes. They had the car for almost a month and I was driving a loaner well, I didn't find out until after that the suspension had been re-worked and there was no luxury suspension underneath the vehicle. It was lowering springs which is fine but the entire front suspension had to be replaced. Luckily, I purchased an extended warranty (still haven't received that contract)and when I turned the claim in, they said the car was only worth $2000., I purchased the car for $17,000 on top of that it took them almost 8 months to get my license plate to me which I ordered the Bee conservation plates. I received ordinary plates. I would have gone to a more reputable place had I done the research. I do recommend taking any car you're interested into an actual mechanic to have them look it over before you buy it. Don't get screwed like I did.

He truly cares about the customer. He gets absolutely nothing for answering my questions 3 months after I purchased my car, yet, he does! My car has had a transmission overhaul, shifter fixed, lights replaced and the engine seals now need to be replaced because they're failing. I've spent thousands on repairs and more still on the way on a loan that is now underwater. Do NOT buy from these guys! *update* looks like the previous owner sold the car back to carmax after only a few months. I now have to pay $5800 to get a new engine. It's not the seals. The engine is broken and the warranty won't cover it because it's not broken enough Do NOT buy an extended warranty with these guys. You'll get screwed and not in a nice way. I'm having a lawyer investigate this. What carmax did is pretty shady so I might be able to get them reported to the bbb and fined.

Except the first time I met her in a PNW downpour the windshield wiper flapped uselessly like a limp handshake. Replacing the wipers was contractual. Basic safety. A correction to meet the State's prim-and-proper dress code. Still met with a laissez-faire attitude. When I picked her up, her glasses were still broken. I took the fix into my own hands--parts shop on the way home, a couple of tenners, a little elbow grease, done. Next up, the key fob. The emergency key was missing, the kind of detail that only matters when it matters. I brought it up, like an old lover who still believes a wrong turn should end with a nightcap and an apology. Instead, it turned from good cop to bad cop faster than a red carpet turns into a doormat. Then Murphy made a house call. The battery went low. She wouldn't let me in, like a partner who caught me gambling with the rent money. I used my one free call to get a locksmith to bail me out. Time and money burned on something promised on the first date. Next the check engine light blinked into life like it couldn't wait to hand me a bill and a lecture. Still loyal, I went back to them instead of the brand shop off the two one seven. One tip slipped across the bar after another. Reassurance she was safe to take out on the town without having to constantly look over my shoulder. It was just a false trail that kept circling back to the same code I heard on the scanner from day one. I was being led on a wild goose chase and suspected I was the stuffing. After months of silence and no new leads I picked up the phone to reopen the case, like a jilted ex dialing a number I know I shouldn't. The witnesses had "left." The records were "tied up." I was told the specifics about the prior investigation were withheld for "legal reasons." It read like the old standards had left the building, and she'd taken her charm with her. Trusting my first instinct, I took the old girl to the brand shop, the place that spoke her native tongue. They handed me the facts. No passing the buck. No song and dance. Workmanship you could hang your hat on. I'd finally gotten the full meal deal, but I'd lost my wallet in the process. I figured I'd give Freeman one last chance to make things right. I'd played this scene before, back when deals were clean and handshakes meant something. Back then, I had a number in my head and they hit it like a sharpshooter. This time it was a slow middle school dance on a wet gym floor, and every step felt wrong. The numbers didn't add up, even the Kelly Blue Boys gave me the kind of look you save for a three-card monte table. Sure, I could take a bruising, but I hadn't signed up to get rolled. The relationship ended with a love letter that read like a case file, our entire history laid out in black and white, followed by a reply that never came. Freeman was a name I'd trusted since I was a rookie twenty years back, the door I knocked on when I wanted a fair and honest deal, the place I sent friends, family, and associates. Somewhere along the way, it seemed they traded the Freeman name for the Saul Goodman Sunday Special. In this town, some places sell you a promise the way a magician sells you a trick. You watch the shine. You miss the move. I gave them every chance to play it straight, but instead I got a different story each time, ended up with the bills, and found myself alone in the rain without an umbrella. Ragged, like a mark who realized the gig too late, I closed the file, because sometimes that's the only win you get. Take a walk. Don't look back. The rain will wash the footprints away.
