The floors are all bamboo, the colors are soothing and soft. There are 3 different studio spaces, and each follows it's own color pattern, but it all works together. I've only taken a few classes here, but they've been great - just what I needed. I have not had need for the physical therapy services, but I've heard from others that they are gifted practitioners. They've expanded their mission and now offer both fitness and cycling classes at their studio. I took a fitness class this week, which was an hour long, and what I loved about it is that they focused on mobility, posture and form while lifting, and core strength. We spent the first 15 minutes warming up, stretching, and rolling out our muscles. I love that it was focused on form and mobility, unlike other fitness classes I've taken. I also took a spin class here and their spin studio is huge and beautiful! It had so many bikes! They also use headsets for their spin studio, which I had never used before. You can adjust the volume for your personal headset and listen to the music as loud as you like. This was so appreciated because I always have to use earplugs at other studios because the music is so loud. The bikes also have baskets for regular sneakers OR you can turn over the pedals and clip in with spin shoes, I've never seen that before, it's so cool! You can rent spin shoes here for $3. A couple things to note: they don't offer a free class for your first time in the studio, and most studios I've been to offer a free class to explore the studio and see if you're interested in their space. I'm curious if this will change as they become more established. They have class packs for their fit classes, and class packs for their spin classes, but they don't have combined class packs unless you get their unlimited studio pass, which I was a little bummed about because I had wanted to try both. I just purchased a day pass for each class - the fitness class drop in is $24 for an hour long class, and the spin class drop in is $22 for a 45 minute class. They also don't provide towels for their classes, which would be a nice addition. Most spin studios I've gone to provide towels for their guests. The studio is beautiful and clean, and all of the equipment looks brand new. I'm excited to see this place grow as they continue to make adjustments and become established in the community!

Soon the doors will be closing. The owner of Synergy is fanatical about keeping the gym clean, equipment in fully operational condition. When you walk in there is a stack of ready disinfectant spray bottles and clean towels. Everyone is expected to wipe down the equipment after use. The customers come in steady but never had I had a time where I couldn't get a workout in. The ages and fitness level varies greatly, so if your a beginner you should never feel intimidated. There are trainers and if you need help you can ask any of us at the gym and we will gladly help. Becca M wrote about a gym goer that was harassing her. She gave a bad review of the gym for that. Did she address it with the owner? You can't slam the gym for what a customer does without giving the owner a chance to address it. There's always going to be some who do not respect others. But my over a year experience at Synergy I have never seen this. Most likely a Female or Male that is in good shape and showing it, others are working out to try to be like them. Hey if you work hard and look good, show it off because it isn't gonna last forever and your in a place that understands what it takes to get there!! Top of the line equipment, clean where you could do floor exercises anywhere and not get up filty. A friendly atmosphere and the classic radio station you can hear but not so loud you can't carry on a conversion with another members. I strongly suggest you give it a try.

I found Synergy Fitness via web search so I thought I would give it a try despite some concerns. First thing I noticed right off the bat is how small the gym is. They had construction going on at one side of the gym and when I asked the girl at the front desk, she told me the area used to be part of the gym but their next door business took it from them. Which means the gym is getting even smaller. I was like ok, not a big deal at the moment. Last straw that made me decide to leave this place for good and write this review is a harassment from one of the gym goers. I was in the free weights area doing some squats and I noticed a nasty looking creature staring at me and pointing the backside of his phone toward me, most likely filming. I felt very uncomfortable with the amount of staring so I left the room and went to another room to continue my workout with dumbbells. A few minutes later, the same creature came to the room, took off his shirt and started to pose in front of the mirror and kept staring at me. I was completely freaked out at this point so I ended my workout and left the place. The nasty creature is a roided short male covered with long sleeve tattoos on both arms with skull pictures and women, side stomach big skull tattoo, and a big "USAF" tattoo on his chest. If you belong to the USAF or have been at one point in your life, you should live up to the title. What a creepy old man. I have never experienced that kind of behavior at any other gym places I used to go to. I felt gross after this experience. I don't recommend this "gym" to any young woman.

I'd suggest making the curtains just a little longer or adding a lip to the shower to keep the curtain inside. And I was reminded why I bring "shower shoes" when I'm here because someone's dirt didn't go down the drain until I stepped on it. Ick. Music wasn't as loud here as some others. That's okay. Tip: If your GPS brings you to the Ben and Jerry's, you're close. They have the west side of the building. Continue counter-clockwise to the east side of the building. While I may be paying a reduced rate, I would still come here on full price. Now that I've experienced both of the gyms in St A I can safely say that I prefer Dukes, hands down. It is a little smaller, but it feels more personal here. I've interacted with three of the staff members so far, and they've been nothing but kind and helpful. My second week here I took advantage of the personal training offer and I've found that now that I've been instructed on proper form, etc, I enjoy lifting weights. The machines are clean and are always kept in good shape and there is absolutely ZERO attitude here. As in, NONE. You come in, do your thing, everyone is respectful and chill. The other draw for this place is that they have classes (gratis, with membership) and that they're a little heavier on the spin classes. I'm sure this will be updated once I take advantage of a few more services, but for now I'll just say that I dig it.
