The most special thing about our ceremony was being able to finally unite as one officially in such a beautiful place, surrounded by only each other on what was the most perfect, secluded beach. Shane, our officiant, was so incredible and made us feel our big moment in every way imaginable. I truly felt like taking photos together was really fun and those are moments that we will never forget. I don't think I can do this venue justice with a review alone--so, I'll have to add these incredible photos to really show you how incredible this was. What a masterful job Shane and the team did on our wedding ceremony and photography. We are so excited that we got the opportunity to get married on Maui with the best team ever! If you're thinking of getting married in Maui, is Affordable Barefoot Maui Wedding all the way. You don't have to look anywhere else.

It could not have been any better! If I could give 100 stars stars I would. Shane performed the ceremony masterfully. He is so wonderful and down to earth. He is an excellent photographer. OMG the pictures are gorgeous. His food recommendations are so on point!! and he has quite the set of lungs! (you'll notice when he blows the conch shell at the beginning of the ceremony). You HAVE to book Wayne. His ukulele playing adds the perfect touch He performed a traditional Hawaiian blessing which made the experience just... magical . This was the best experience of my life. Thank you all so so much

With a bit of regret not having done our vow renewal "formally" 5 years ago (FIL passed a few months later suddenly), we decided to do it for 15 years with our family being less grandpa but with a new addition, our 3 yo. Michael and his assistant were super friendly and easy to work with. He was helpful with restaurant recommendations around our site. We stayed in the Kaanapali area and most wedding/vow renewal services advertised were on the Kīhei side which would've taken 40+ minutes depending on traffic to get to and with 2 young kids, the drive back wouldn't have been fun (not to mention bedtime). Maui wedding adventures was able to meet us in Kapalua (one of our fave dive sites too). We dined at Merriman's and the food was delicious, as was the view. After dinner it was a short walk to the beach where we met Michael. We were able to choose from a list of musicians that could play while we had our ceremony. Marvin's music is just what we were looking for. He had many song choices with many of them being our favorites. His music really completed our ceremony. Michael's responses were prompt and he kept in contact by sending emails before we embarked on our trip to Maui and even sent a message the day we landed to welcome us! He also sent us messages on the day of to let us know what to look for. We got a sneak peek to our photos the next day and as he promised, the link to all the photos within 10 days. (We got them in I definitely recommend Maui Wedding Adventures! Thank you Michael!

But we knew what we wanted, to get married on the beach with our toes in the sand and the sound of the waves. No better beaches than Hawaii, Maui at that ;) Mr. Michael Fish made planning our ceremony extremely easy all the way from California. He was ALWAYS very receptive and super knowledgeable. Believe me, I did my research and he checked off all my needs and now that our wedding is over he deserves all the praise. You will not be disappointed with his services. In addition, the photos I received with my package were phenomenal.

Take My Death Away…read more For the past year or so, we had been planning a family vacation to Hawai'i to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. But, as our luck would have it, literally two days before we're set to board the plane, my grandmother (selfishly) decided to pass away. Well, as one can imagine, this did not sit well with my mom, and she wanted to cancel the whole deal. After much cajoling, we were able to get her on the plane, and part of that making her feel better was my sister suggesting we have our own ceremony while in Hawai'i to honor her. This is where Kahu of Hawaiian Ceremonies took over. My sister contacted her, and she responded quickly over text. She then proceeded to interview my sister in order to get some background information about my grandmother to use in the ceremony, set up a time and date to meet, and the rest was cake. She even got the necessary permits to hold the ceremony at the beach. The ceremony was beautiful, succinct, and, best of all, made my mom feel better so she could enjoy the rest of her time on the island. So if you're visiting Maui and looking for an authentic Hawaiian ceremony to celebrate life, death, or even a wedding--which is kinda both if we're being honest--then don't hesitate to call Hawaiian Ceremonies.

My wife and I celebrated our 45th anniversary and my daughter and her husband celebrated their 15th anniversary. I am so glad that I came across HawaiianCeremonies.com. From the first time I spoke with Kahu Alalani Hill, I knew this was the person that would help make this a special event for me and my family. She was very kind, listened to what I wanted, had great ideas on how to make this a memorable experience for all and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. She included my grandchildren that were also with us by giving them specially made kukui lei's, having them sign the vow renewal document and included them during the ceremony. It was awesome! Also, the photographer she coordinated with for the photo shoot (Ian), was very friendly, easy to work with and took phenomenal pictures. Thank you both for giving us such an unforgettable experience.

We had decided 6 days before to elope during a planned trip to Maui and she responded to my inquiry quickly and got the ball rolling right away by sending us package information, sample vows, expectations about deposit, ceremony, and options. She also was able to coordinate special leis (the best fragrance I've ever smelled) and musician last minute. She required a lower deposit (with the remainder due day of) than some of the other officiants that responded (which was so nice when trying to get deposits in all at once last minute) and has PayPal for easy payment! Her package was slightly more expensive than some others ($50-$100) but her timeliness, knowledge, presence, and approach to the service was so wonderful that it was worth every extra penny! Rev. Chanti was not only timely, but early (which helped us be stress free on our day!) and she is so warm and easy to work with - she truly made our day even more perfect! We highly recommend her! Mahalo! Also: *expect to pay a little more for mileage if you're in West Maui - but it's worth it! *we would skip the musician if we did it over - he was very nice, and talented, but only played a few songs so we didn't see the value of having him given what he charged.
