With Love, Seif &,Ashley Thank you Rev Annie
Ash L.

Rev Annie is absolutely an amazing officiant! During these tough times in the midst of a pandemic I was able to get married to the life of my life VIA Zoom, a virtual ceremony ? Who would of thought, I would of never imagined doing things this way but I was so glad my parents were able to witness this joining us on another screen. Rev Annie made it so meaningful & special on New Years Eve. She also snapped lovely pictures. She is kind, warm, patient & friendly and I highly recommend Rev Annie when you decide to have your special day. Thank you we are forever grateful for her for making this day go so smoothly!

This review is long overdue. Back in January we eloped to Central Park. I know any for a long time as I am an officiant in California. I couldn't think of anybody else that I would rather have done my ceremony. She made our ceremony wonderful and sweet and found The perfect word that made my bride cry with joy. I highly recommend her to anybody who wants a fun and beautiful ceremony.

We were looking for a pandemic elopement in NYC and found Annie's website. She FAR exceeded our expectations! After a friendly chat, we booked her Simple Ceremony package. She sent us a questionnaire to find out more about us, and then took care of all the ceremony details. She's an absolute pro with calmness, a giant smile, and radiates warmth and love! Her attention to detail was incredible, even producing a pin for my Boutonniere. Rev Annie brought a uniqueness that transformed the ceremony into a sweet memory with close friends and family that we will cherish forever. Her words were beautiful and she masterfully guided us through the process. We recommend her whole heartedly. Thank you Annie!

My now wife and I recently eloped to NYC to get married. Due to the short-notice of our plans, we were initially planning on getting married at the Manhattan City Clerk's Office. However, after consulting with our photographer Cynthia Chung, we decided we should instead plan on having our ceremony somewhere else like Central Park and we needed to find an officiate. Cynthia gave us a couple of recommendations including Rev. Annie. We checked out her website and decided that we'd like to move forward with her so we reached out via her website contact form. She offers several tiers of ceremony, and we decided that for our intents and purposes we would go with her Simple Ceremony option. She quickly emailed us back and we scheduled a video-call consultation. She was extremely warm, friendly, and helpful! We told her our thoughts and ideas and what type of ceremony we were looking to have. She gave really helpful insight and advice and answered a ton of questions we had, especially regarding the legal aspects of marriage such as how to apply for and receive a marriage license. She gave several good location options and we eventually decided upon either having the ceremony on our hotel suite's private balcony (if it was large enough) or to have it in Central Park. She even helped us come up with a primary, secondary, and tertiary plan depending on how things ended up playing out such as the location, marriage license, etc. Due to the short-notice, she already had her mid-day timeslot reserved on our wedding day, so we decided upon her morning time slot. Even choosing the second-to-cheapest offering, Annie sent us a form to fill out to further get an understanding of what we expected from the ceremony. With the Simple Service, however, you aren't able to review the ceremony text beforehand. This was not an issue for us, and the ceremony was beautiful! On the day of the ceremony, Annie got there early to help walk us through how she was going to do the ceremony and work with me regarding the marriage license. The ceremony was very thoughtful and perfect for my wife and I. We will never forget our special day and the ceremony that Annie conducted for us. We would strongly recommend her to anyone needing a very experienced officiate, especially if you are also planning on eloping!

Our venue unfortunately didn't allow us to have a formal rehearsal, but Alex coordinated everything so seamlessly that you would have never known we didn't have one. He made sure everyone knew where they needed to be, what to expect, and helped everything flow smoothly on the day of our wedding. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to all of our requests truly made a difference. Alex went above and beyond to make sure our ceremony was exactly what we envisioned, and we're so grateful to have had him be such an important part of our special day. If we could choose our officiant a hundred times over, we would choose Alex every single time. We can't recommend him enough! Thank you, Alex, for helping make our wedding day so memorable!

Amanda performed a beautiful ceremony, exactly according to our wishes. This wasn't the easiest…read moretask, since those wishes evolved and changed along the way. Amanda accommodated every request, from providing a wide range of readings for us to consider, to consulting with us responsively regarding how to tactfully frame the oration in consideration of our respective children's feelings (this being a second marriage for both of us), to graciously crafting with us a minimalist ceremony with no readings whatsoever. Yet during our ceremony Amanda exuded a quiet and penetrating warmth that helped support and amplify the meaningful words spoken by ourselves and our families to each other. Amanda also took care of all legal requirements discreetly and efficiently. She advised us on everything we needed (which was complicated by needing prior divorce decrees across State lines) and made herself available at a moment's notice for all of our questions, requests, and changes along the way. Of course, while we do not plan to get married again ourselves, we loudly and unreservedly recommend Amanda to anyone who wishes to themselves get married (for the first or whatever-eth time) in a way that reflects who you each are as individuals, and as the next happy couple.

It looks like he has changed his name on here to avoid the bad reviews but I will post my review…read morehere as well Rev Leslie through his unprofessionalism, rudeness and complete apathy came very close to ruining the happiest day of my life. My wife and I were married in October of 2011. In the summer of 2011 we started looking for someone to perform the ceremony. I found Rev. Leslie on the internet and contacted him. He called me and I told him about my then fiancee and myself. We set up a meeting and he stated that he would write vows just for us. About a week later we met him at his apartment and we told him more about ourselves. We told him we were getting married out on Long Island (Centerport). He stated he was unfamiliar with the area and we told him its in Suffolk by Huntington. He said he knew huntington as he and his wife had looked at a house there years ago. He then read us the vows he had written and while they were nice they were very generic and could have been for anyone and just plugged our names in. He then told us the price which was $600. We thought this was high since we had seen people who would do it for half that but we were asking him to travel out to Long Island and he seemed nice so we gave him $100 deposit and left thinking we had someone to perform the ceremony and could now stress about other things in the very stressful process that is getting married. We were scheduled to be married on Friday the 7th. On Monday night, the 3rd, my wife gets a message on her cellphone from an outwardly upset and borderline hostile and rude Rev. Leslie stating that he doesnt know where this place is and doesn't know how is going to get out there so WE need to figure it out. Now my I'm thinking he had more than 3 months to figure out how to get there and call us with questions or concerns and hasn't but he calls 3 days before well thats weird. So i call him back, my wife is to upset to. He states that he was unaware of where this place was (we told him three months ago where it was and he seemed fine then) and didnt know how he was going to get there. I told him that there is a train that goes close and then its a 5 min cab ride. He then asks who was going to pay for this. I took a 2 seconds, literally, to compose myself and think since it was out of the blue and I thought this was all agreed upon and before I can answer he states that since I have to think about it he wants no further dealings with me and hangs up. I inform my wife and she breaks down in tears. She then calls him after she composes herself and offers him $75 for transportation (the actual total for 4 cabs and two train tickets was $71 but we rounded up.) He then states that that wont be enough and he doesn't like our attitudes anyway. Now neither one of us were anything but nice to him, we were both upset but not in an angry way in a paniced way since we only had three days (Tues, Wed and Thurs) to get everything together and now we might have to find someone else to officiate. We inform him that we looked up how much it will cost and he then said if we were going to "nickel and dime" him he wanted no further dealings with us but he would return out deposit out of the goodness of his heart. Now first of all he was aware of the location of the wedding from the beginning and should have, and in my understanding at the time did, include that in his $600 fee. Secondly he had three months to ask for transportation fees and waited till the last minute to ask for them. He then wanted more than the actual cost of transport. Then he acts as if he is doing us a favor by returning the deposit, even though as the one who broke the contract this is his obligation. We did eventually find someone to perform the ceremony. The ceremony was prewritten since he did not have time to write something since he only had two days(he couldnt meet us till Tuesday night) The prewritten ceremony was by the way very similar to the "custom written" one that Rev. Leslie did for us and even had the same Apache prayer. Also this new person was cheaper even on short notice. In my experience Rev. Leslie was rude and unprofessional and was very opportunistic as to when he asked for more money and obviously had some other reason for not wanting to do it that came up suddenly and instead of saying that and offering to recommend someone else who could do it he fabricated a reason. I would not recommend utilizing him and if you already have booked him to be very cautious in all dealings with him.

We are happy we chose her as our celebrant (honestly, I knew immediately after interviewing that she was the right fit). We held a small ceremony on a sailboat off Manhattan and Larissa performed a ceremony which reflected us. The process of writing the ceremony was easy and she worked collaboratively to make edits. She was even able to give me recommendations for hair and makeup a few days before the wedding. The day of the ceremony, she went above and beyond and actually helped us to decorate the boat. We think very few officiants would have been so helpful and easygoing. It is clear she enjoys officiating weddings with her constant smiles.
