CONTRACTOR WARNING - NON-PAYING HOMEOWNERS Address: 715…read moreEast Wilson Street, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 Shannon Jarvis and Britton Black hired our company to complete a full project at the above address and have refused to pay their final bill of over $30,000, despite the work being fully completed and documented. We're a small, hardworking business that takes pride in showing up, doing quality work, and delivering on our promises. Unfortunately, these two individuals chose to take advantage of that -- ignoring communication, making false claims, and walking away from their financial responsibility. Britton Black claims to be a business owner himself, which makes their behavior even more unacceptable. If you're a contractor or business owner, do not extend credit or trust to these individuals. They are not honest and cannot be counted on to honor their word. We're sharing this to protect others. It's not just about money -- it's about standing up for small businesses that get burned by people who think they can get away with it. Project completed and pictured below. We take pride in our work -- just not in being taken advantage of. #ContractorWarning #OconomowocWI #NonPayingCustomer #ProtectSmallBusiness #TRS #WestBend #WisconsinRoofing #MetalRoofingWisconsin #PayWhatYouOwe

Every experience has always been great! They are super friendly, always knowledgeable, and super kind. Even today I ran my boat up there to ask a few simple questions. Even though it's wintering season and I know they are super busy, they made time to take a quick look at my boat and answer my questions. Great dealership, great people!

We had been in discussions with this dealership to trade in our used bass boat (motor and trailer included, fully operable). After going back and forth remotely on trade-in value -- sharing photos they raised no questions or concerns about -- we agreed on a price. We then visited the dealership twice in person to make sure the boat and the deal were the right fit for our family. On what was supposed to be our final visit to close the deal, we signed an agreement based on the value we'd settled on and filled out a credit application to finance the remaining balance. The dealership ran a hard credit pull that same evening. Only afterward did we find out the deal wouldn't actually close that day -- we'd need to make the long drive back out a second time, despite the dealership knowing how far we'd already traveled to get this done. The next morning, we learned our boat's value had been cut by more than half. Their inspection nitpicked ordinary wear on a 20-year-old boat to justify gutting the trade-in price -- after they'd already seen the photos, already had our signatures, and already pulled our credit. To be clear about the order of events: they ran our credit after we signed based on one agreed number, then tried to push us into financing significantly more after the fact. That's not a legitimate inspection process -- that's a bait-and-switch. When we raised concerns, the sales manager was dismissive, with the kind of sleazy, high-pressure sales attitude that confirmed we'd made the right call walking away. The GM tried to get ahold of the situation but you could tell he didn't want to deal with this headache on a Friday. Lessons learned: get every valuation in writing, don't sign anything until the trade-in number is truly final, and don't let anyone pull your credit until you're sure the deal is real. We won't be buying our next boat here, and I'd encourage other families to think carefully before doing business with this dealership.
