They also had the audacity to tell me that my battery terminal always had a hose clamp on it when I know it didn't (I added photos showing they didn't put it on and left it to the side). Their words, not mine: "best mechanics in town". That's a lot of talk for improperly putting on a battery and God knows what else.

Got an oil change, wash, vacuum, full safety sweep--all for under one fifty so I feel thrifty! Communication spot-on, my car's running like a dream. Oh, and they even helped me pair Waze to Bluetooth when I couldn't figure it out. Comfortable waiting room too--free water, coffee, snacks, Reed lent me a phone charger which was handy because I forgot mine... and there's this adorable orange cat called Beamer who just melts your heart. They are dog friendly and my lovely whippet Twinkie got many compliments and lots of love even from Beamer, which puzzled her but made her roll her eyes. Ten out of ten, will absolutely go back. Highly recommend BMW of Mobile. BMW of Mobile also sell New and Used BMW's and MINI's as well as trade-ins. The employees seem friendly and helpful. The facility is modern and clean. It was nicely decorated for the holidays. My car was serviced for the estimated price and within the promised time period. I said ok let me get an alignment while im here, he says theres not enough time left in the day. It was 2 in the afternoon and they werent busy. I said ok can i make an appointment for tomorrow or wednesday to get the alignment and he replys no we dont do that. So...... obviously they dont need business there. We took it to a nearby shop, and they told us we needed a brand-new transmission--at a cost of nearly $9,000. Our hearts sank. We knew we needed a second opinion, so we asked around, and over and over we heard the same name: Dean. From the moment we met him, we could tell he was different. He didn't rush to diagnose the problem or try to sell us something we didn't need. Instead, he took the time to ride with my husband, listened carefully, and within 10 minutes he had a completely different opinion. He believed it was a simple issue involving a part that would cost around $150--not a transmission. When he finally had the chance to inspect it, he discovered it wasn't even a bad part. It was simply loose. He fixed it... and then refused to charge us a single penny. That moment said everything about the kind of man Dean is. He could have charged us hundreds--or even thousands--and we would have trusted him because we were stranded far from home and desperate to get our family safely back to Texas. They checked out all my sensors on my truck to make sure nothing would tear up the transmission they rebuilt fir me. They had it ready exactly when they told me it would be done. Great customer service and friendly staff. Even parked it in a safe spot where I could pick it up after hours cause I had to work late. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. When it was ready, we went there to pick it up and he charged over $1400. $400 for the starter when it does not cost even $200 and over $800 dollars for labor. The A/C was working fine when we took to him. When we drove it back, the A/C was not working anymore. We took it back to him and this Monday he tried to convince us that something else is wrong . He messed up the A/C and is not taking the responsibility for what he has done and refusing to fix it. They are just trying to rip us off again. I told him I am filling in Small Claims Court against him. I am filing in Small Claims Curt and I am subpoenaing him personally. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO HIM.
